  1. A mod where when the player dies they are instead looted (loss of a random percentage of gear) and tossed asside or rescued.

     

    adds immersion, and removes the need for consistently restarting from your last save which may have been hours ago.

  2. when fallout 4 launches it stops xpadder from registering keys and commands from my controller. I was wondering if there is a mod that can fix this, or if someone would build a mod to fix this?

    err it double post.. maybe they should focus on optimizing this new site to not be so slow and buggy before taking on their version of paid mods.. ;)

    American here and not driven out. It just means that if a mod author is really good with what they do and keep making mods worth downloading then they have the potential to be compensated for it eventually. that means it's not set or fixed whether or not a modder will receive a reward, or that it will only remain a certain group of modders each time because as soon as one mod has support from every user on the site then the modder has to start over just to get points, meaning the next top modder with the points will be next etc.
  4. easy to clone a courser change sex and then throw that armor onto them.and then throw them into the same spawner of the males...but voicetype would have to be mute unless someone can revoice all the male courser lines to female

     

    so one person here knows part of how to do this, and everyone here has likely little to no experience with the CK. and more and more courser and other faction armor mods are coming out and look more badass on the female characters than male in some cases, so... proposal for those who are here looking for a solution to this dilemma; Band together, learn some CK, and make a group mod, Perhaps someone here is female and can re-voice the lines? if not then perhaps someone here knows a female who might be willing to re-voice the lines.

    heres the thought, custom power armor between the T51 and X01 power armors built specifically for Vault 111 in case the inhabitants were stuck in reliance of cryogenic technology, but it turned out un-necessary and now theres just a really cool set of power armor locked behind 4 doors in vault 111.

    Each door has a different difficulty lock type in some pattern such as: Terminal, Lockpick, Terminal, Lockpick
    âand greatly raise difficulty as you get further in making it so you need a higher leveled character to get in. or maybe a keycard hidden in the glowing sea?

    I updated to windows 10, and reinstalled everything, Litterally everything, in porpper order and everything, probably minus some TESVEdit edits somewhere as new patches and updates showed up on mods that previously did not have them.

     

    âProblems:

    1. Race menu CBBE/UNP sliders not working Using UNP as main, CBBE is required for another UNP mod somewhere but that isn't the issue, The sliders do not adjust character bodyat all.
    2. Random environment and model rendering freezes or glitches on startup, it is bad at first, alt-tabing out and back in fixes it.
    3. CTD after X-amount of gameplay, time changes, once occurred after looting a dead wolf, happened again after leaving the money exchange.

     

    I thought I had Ironed all this out while using windows 7, but it seems and update or two may have altered how my game works since I had re-installed everything.

     

    Any tips, suggestions, or possible fixes?

  7. So I have found myself fond of a few of the nordic ruins, the large ones in particular, and the OVERLY EMPTY Ruin added by helgen reborn (not too big a fan of the rest of the mod itself.) and I rounded my thoughts on Volskygge.

     

    Volskygge seems to be in the perfect location for a re-integration of civilization and for likely the best and new introduction of The Orcish Shaman tribe I just made up, The white Orcs.

     

    White Orcs: The Falorsimer; Orcs as pale as their long lost cousins the falmer and long since abandoned by malakath, they turned to Auriel for salvation and prosperity. studying the arcane arts deep within the tundra traveling and hiding from mankind in fear of their war like endevors these orcs, although powerful warriors and mages, stray from conflict as much as possible.

     

    The mod would be a short storyline that would first require the dragonborn, or the alt start hero of whatever to first clear out Volskygge and wait 10 days in game. Clearing Volskygge and obtaining the mask of the dragon priest would be the first required task of this mod as an unlabeled quest. after which in lore speak the white orcs would decide to take up residence in volskygge to begin their own city and civilization.

     

    Before returning to volskygge to begin the short questline the dragonborn/whatever would first learn or the newcity forming from a stray white orc traveling across skyrim's landscape in a black and white robe similar to adept robes.

     

    Finally, returning to volskygge the dragonborn/whatever discovers newly errected walls and fortifications, if anything, these orcs work fast. the new walls and fortifications roughly resemble standard wooden walls, and towers as they are currently building the real walls and towers. Walking up to the main gate A Paladin, one of the highest rankings in the new orcish community walks up to the dragon born and request that they leave immediately. the paladin would be wearing ivory armor with black robes overtop (if you've seen the ebonmage armor and the ivory armor mods, fuse them in your head.), In The paladin's right hand an ivory sword and in the left a fireball spell. The dragonborn can now enter dialogue with the paladin, but all attempts to get try and enter the city will fail in dialogue unless the dragonborn has volsung's mask equipped. Wearing the mask before confronting the paladin will have unique dialogue, and wearign it after as well, but it would be required to gain entry to the city.

     

    entering the new orc city for the first time since the place was cleared would show a few tents set up and a lot of workers mining out the landscape to better suit their needs.

     

    many of the white orcs would don the same black and white robes as the wandering orc, some might wear armor, and some might just wear miners clothes.

     

    The dragonborn/whatever is directed straight inside the main tomb at the entrance for the first encounter where a handful of orcs are clearing the odly designed sideways nordic architecture, hard labor, and one slightly larger than average white orc with violet eyes and a plain white monks robe stands staring at the work, donning a beard and dreadlocks with horned eyebrows turns to face the dragonborn/whatever once close enough.

     

    engaging in conversation the orc asks questions about the ruins and the mask, with a high enough enchant level the dragonborn can cleverly mention the mask uses an ancient enchantment that can no longer be found anywhere else etc. through some interesting dialogue the orc decides he likes the db/we and offers a proposal. the dragonborn would set out to find a string of artifacts lost in dwemmer and nordic ruins all across skyrim, for each the dragonborn is payed in pieces of the white orc armory, and another part of the city is complete.

     

    after obtaining three artifacts the db/we's questline is interupted by a thalmor seige, mainly because the thalmor are a bunch of D*CKS! after fighting off the thalmor and finding both a note and another artifact called "Volsung's Amulet" a dragon shaped amulet with an intimidation enchantment on it the db/we can turn in the amulet and note and begin the questline again and continue the hunt for lost artifacts. some artifacts will also require some vanilla story missions to have been completed before venturing to find the artifacts as some sections of some ruins will be blocked off or hidden until then.

     

    after retrieving all of the artifacts the db/we can finally return to a beautifully nord inspired orc village, which some of the landscape has changed, and white orcs peacefully roam about practicing magic and enjoying the market like any other city, except only white orcs. the DB/we get's a hefty sum of xxxxxx gold and a key to the armory within the ruins and free reign of the city both inside and out.

     

    multiple other missions would be available after main mission is complete.

     

    interior of volskygge will be partly restored/rebuilt and integrated into both a temple, college, and part of the living quarters. As well as the Armory for which an assortment of special weapons, armors, and artifacts can be retrieved.

     

    Thats about it.

    I have more ideas for this, but I'd rather not get my hopes up. as a modder and game developer I have a total of ZERO finished projects, and nothing to show for my ideas or ambitions. If someone would want to work on this with me, let me know, if someone just wants to take the project, go right ahead.

  8. I can't say i'm exactly new to nexus, As I have been jumping back and forth with using it for years, but back then didn't really know how or what forums were used for until I joined the RPG maker communities. (<<<Schlub)

     

    So I'll start with this: I have no natural talent in any skill I would like to have, but all the things I hate doing I am brilliantly perfect at; Cooking, sewing, science, writing, wood shop, plumbing, walmart customer service, etc...

     

    Skills I wish I was good at and get worse at with practice; programming, drawing, painting, pastels, sketching, hiking, mathmatics, etc...

     

    So here I am, a worthless Idea machine with no clue what I'm supposed to be doing.

     

    In the Rpgmaker communities I have a total of 56 unfinished projects, 48 of which arent posted, 36 of which are lost to all oblivion on some hard-drive out in the public somewhere. I am known as Crow, and XIX.

     

    I Tend to have more ideas than thoughts I can finish, I can name all of Zeus' Bastard Human children, and I can make a really mean cup of joe. I was picked on in high school for trying to be an individual, in an all sports high school of course, and I spent most of my time watching one piece while trying to ignore the morons that tried, and were succeeding, to make my life miserable.

     

    I have tried re-writing the same book 9 or so times, and never got past chapter 1. And i can count and recall everything when I drink to get blackout drunk... needless to say I can't blackout, just hurl up everything instead.

     

    My longterm goal since freshmen year of highschool has and still is to create a game development company, but at my current rate of skill improvement I will reach that goal in as soon as 500 years.

     

    I flunked my first semester of college trying, TRYING, to pass my Algebra class and neglected my other classes in return, most all my time was spent in the study center working on algebra.

     

    I don't actually enjoy playing games as much as I enjoy looking into how they work and trying to learn what does what. I like being creative, but in terms of creative skill, as I've already said, I have ideas...

  9. Hello again everyone, Zodiac19, the mad pumpkin here.

     

    I am still on my way to learning how to open and use anything in the CK, but I will get there eventually... If I get the time outside of work, class, or running errands for my Lady friend.

     

    Anyway here's the idea: Being able to craft the same armors with different materials, Leather excluded.

    Sometimes I imagine how cool it would be if I could have orcish armor made from steel early on with the same stats as steel but looking like orcish armor in a silver grey color. or even if I had Elvish armor made with orchilium, or glass, or steel. The idea is simply a retexture and mesh copy of vanilla armors made for other.

     

    Basically just so that you can make our character look cool in other types of armor that look like higher level armors when they aren't. or so you can have a higher grade version of a lower level armor like an ebony set that looks like plate armor.

     

    The stats of the armor are inherited from the metal the armor is made from, and the colors from the metal the armor is made from but the mesh from whichever armor is duplicated.

  10. Hello Nexus community, I guarentee I am not the first to notice this issue, but Skyrim disables use of both mouse and keyboard when a controller is plugged in, assuming we all use the xbox controller.

    The steam controller is not an Xbox controller, and the mouse joypad settings, and the joypad settings for the right track pad are a bit blocky in movement.
    However, like in multiple games I have now played with the steam controller, the mouse setting is marvelous for the right pad but does not work in skyrim due to teh previously mentioned disable.

    I am requesting a mod that will enable or fix this by allowing both controller and keyboard/mouse use at the same time. this would allow full use of the steam controller in skyrim for everyone.

  11. This is probably both simple and tedious and comes in likely two parts.

     

    part 1: Adding vault numbers to the vault lab coats, and adding leather patches to the waist-land variants elbows and shoulders.

     

    part 2: because of the obvious, fitting these lab-coats as replacements to both the waist-land scientists and the vault tech scientists.

     

    Not really a must, but adding a vault 111 lab coat and/or an armored elbow variant to sanctuary and/or the vault 111 cryo lab.

     

    Throughout my first play through, which I flunked badly at self control, I used console commands to play around with everything in the game once I left the vault, sad to say I never found a lab coat until I made it to vault 88, which disappointed me greatly.

     

    Adding numbers to the suits and leather patches just makes it seem more realistic as though scientists were specifically designated to each vault with a lab coat made for that vaults needs, and since vault 111 is cryo science, it would make sense for the lab-coats to be fitted with thermal padding and be specially designed for that vault.

     

    Anyone who fills this request I must say thank you!
