  1. I'm finished with the guide and it's working now. :) I appreciate all the help, thanks guys so much.
  2. Thank you, good to know. Good news is I got through the textures section and I can now load my save. Bad news is I have no idea what I did wrong or how to prevent myself from doing it again. Continuing on with the rest of the guide, hopefully i can get it to work, thank you both. One more thing, you said I can launch SSE with Wrye Bash, do I have to set up a path for it to use skse64_loader.exe or can I just use the icon at the bottom that says start Skyrim Special Edition? I used the icon to test if it would load the save and it did but again only textures were installed, nothing scripted yet.
  3. @HadToRegister on page 2 of this forum topic you stated that I should expand the merge patch and make sure to delete Leveled Items list (Leveled Item, Leveled npc, etc.) but in Audiodef's guide he says to delete leveled items, but do not touch leveled npc or anything else. Should Leveled npc stay or go?
  4. Alright I'll keep trying. As I said I wasn't able to get into the game yesterday but when I deleted my merge patch today I created a new one and selected clean masters then rebuilt my bash patch and when I started a new game it worked, I was in the Alternate start dungeon. I now know NOT to clean masters when I make a new merge patch, but for now it works. Thank you both I'll let you know how it goes.
  5. lol No I don't have a second computer, just the one. Are you talking about old registry files after uninstalling SSE?
  6. Were you able to look at the screenshots? Did you see anything I did wrong?
  7. I only had so few because if you look at his guide, the beginning is installing programs, cleaning game files, installing first few mods, merging and patching, texture mods, etc. in that order. Once i got through the sorting and patching I ran the game to test it as instructed, and I loaded into the alternate start dungeon just fine. Then the texture mods is where it messed up. I installed textures and sorted and patched then tried loading that save in the dungeon and it says this save depends on files that are no longer present: skyrim, update, dawnguard, hearthfires, dragonborn, appachii hair.esm's are all missing.
  8. Also I just read on reddit a merging and patching guide that says if there's nothing in the folder other than file header it means that SSEEdit has seen no needed edits and just created a blank merged patch. I've only installed the first 10 mods that effect the beginning of the game, none of them add items or npc's so maybe that's why leveled lists and items aren't there?
  9. And the merging since that's apparently where I'm doing things wrong lol. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5rg0hxhglmhdp8w/merging.7z?dl=0
  10. No it was in a youtube video i watched about cleaning masters, that's why i did it. Here's the screenshots of the cleaning only. https://www.dropbox.com/s/95npf414iegn3ka/modcleaning.7z?dl=0
  11. But yes, the only thing is file header. I will delete the merge patch again and take screenshots of the process here in a bit. I was pretty sure I included the merging process in the previous screenshots but I will do it again with just the merging section.
  12. I'm not sure what i did in the first place to mess it up but i just went through and deleted the merged patch, recreated a new patch, but this time before closing out of SSEEdit I right clicked on merged patch and selected clean masters then went back to Wrye Bash and rebuilt a bash patch now the game launches with my mods and everything. Problem is I got it to work before and then I installed the textures section and that's when the .esm's came up missing in the first place. So I'm going to continue on and see if I get stuck at that point again. Everything I have downloaded, SSEEdit, NMM, Steam, SSE; they're all in my C:) drive
  13. It would seem that's why they're greyed out. In the Merged patch in SSEEdit, the only thing in it is something called file header, no leveled list or leveled npc. NMM launches all the tools too, I've only been launching it from there because I was trying to follow Audiodef's guide perfectly because he says it works for him, all the same programs and whatnot.
  14. Here's my last ditch effort, in dropbox i clicked share and create link now it says anyone with the link can view the file. My apologies I've never used dropbox before. https://www.dropbox.com/s/a043cyk5d5v8n6j/Screenshots.7z?dl=0
  15. No I'm using NMM. And when I look at the overwrites in NMM's folder it says this folder is empty.
