  1. Imo, the only mods I count as essential are Looksmenu CBBE Bodyslide manager (useful, if you're planning a female character) Looksmenu Customization Compendium UFO4P (Unofficial FO4 patch)
  2. You get a visible throwing arc, when you have explosive perk at level 2, if that's what you're looking for?
  3. A little advice; Play the game unmodded, until you get back to Sanctuary after Concord, and make a save there (no quicksave). You can then start a new game without having to go over the whole 1st part over and over again. I did this myself, since I change mods every now and then.
  4. Somehow, I suspect this is a way to circumvent season pass owners... -_-
  5. Until you run into a raider, who hides from you, and blast you a new one, with a 88mm =D Happened to me when I fought the DC in Concord, at the beginning of a new game. Ripped my power armor to pieces, and got me down to about 20% hp in one hit -_- I was like "wtf just happened?!?" O.o
  6. Take a look at my reply in this thread: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5679002-load-order/&do=findComment&comment=50565002
  7. A good load order tip, is to sort it in groups, in this order: 1. ESMs 2. Bugfixes (incl. Unofficial fallout patch) 3. Settlement mods 4. Gameplay affecting mods (carry weight mods, etc) 5. Weather mods 6. Visual mods (terrain, grass, water etc) 7. Radio & quest mods 8. Looksmenu 9. Character customization mods 10. NPC mods (better settlers, etc) 11. Sorting mods (VIS, etc) 12. Item mods (chems, etc) 13. Animation mods 14. CBBE (if you want to use it) 15. Unique player (Unique companions, if you use it) 16. Custom player housing 17. Faction mods 18. Crafting workbenches 19. Equipment crafting 20. Armorsmith Extended 21. Armor and clothing mods 22. Weapons 23. Companions
  8. Your loadorder is really bad, and unoptimized. I'd take a look at Gambits loadorder first, and correct it, and see if your problem still occurs. It's the 5th post here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2228/?tab=4&&navtag=http:%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D2228%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D3438595&pUp=1 Alternatively, check out this thread: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3767665-ten-rules-to-get-a-mod-setup-with-a-lot-of-workshop-crafting-mods-to-work/&do=findComment&comment=34228965
  9. Check out the 5th post on this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2228/?tab=4&&navtag=http:%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D2228%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D3438595&pUp=1 I use/adapt that loadorder for my installations, and from what I've heard, Gambit is one of the best, regarding loadorder.
  10. Like Ethreon said, use Place everywhere. There's an option to toggle snapping on/off
  11. So, i decided to try this one out again, but i was a bit shocked on how many errors FO4Edit registers, when checking this plugin. Could someone shed some light, on wether these are serious errors, or if I can ignore them?
  12. Ok, i decided to try out the new textures, and man, its so unoptimized. I went from 60+ stable fps in a heavily modded 4k game, to ~20-30 fps with the new DLC. Looks like im going back to Vivid texturepacks again. Uninstalling this DLC. My hardware: ASUS z170 Pro Gaming motherboard i7 6700K @ 4.2GHz H115i Liquid Cooling RM750 750w PSU 32Gb DDR4 @ 3000MHz ASUS RoG GTX1080 Samsung 850 SSD EDIT, turns out Fallout4ConfigTool made some weird updates in my INI files, gonna try again, after using default INIs
  13. There's an interesting article about this DLC, here: http://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-4-high-resolution-texture-pack-comparison-screenshots/ The author posted both positive and negative comments, and great comparison images. But i'm is still hesitant to use it =S
  14. I kinda did it like damanding wrote; created a male character with no mods installed, played until you open the vault door, saved, and now I have a clean save for both genders (did the same on female).
