  1. Thank you for the updates, but to be honest I think I liked it more when the complete download history was Premium only, the download history page for Skyrim (having the most downloaded mods for) is so large that it just hangs for a minute or so when trying to access it, then gives an "Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data." error. Dragon Age and Oblivion work just fine, since they are just like 2 pages each.
  2. You've done nothing wrong, retexture mods like the ones you're trying to install, don't use an .esp/.esm plugin to work, because they are just swapping the textures of the vanilla game.

    So after installing them you're good to go.

  3. What makes you think hair mods use scripts? None of the mods come with such things, nor any of the headparts are linked to any, even TES5Edit says so unless it's lying.

    @WatercolourChaos:

    Have you tried on a new game to see if your problem persists? Double-check to see if the mods got installed correctly as well, you can check the contents of the archive and the location of the meshes/textures in your Data folder to see if they match.

    Also be sure your Skyrim is up-to-date, most mods won't work as they should/or at all on older versions due to modifications on how CK saves the plugins.

    But like it was said above, asking on the mod's page about your problem is also a good idea if you haven't, might be the fastest way for the author to see it and maybe help you fix it.

  4. @Thefreak123: NMM will mostly likely be up and running when it's ready to do so. And even with NMM in offline mode it's easy to get mods into it, easy as download the mods manually than drag them in NMM (Mods tab) or use the button on the left sidebar "Add Mod from file" and done. You can't fail.

    That's what I do most of the time, cause I won't open NMM just for 1 mod, since it takes me up to 15mins to load ~100Gb of mods, so I just manually download them till I have a nice stack then add them like I said.

    @Darkr000: Don't demand things to be done when you can't even bother reading the news.

  5. Maybe your Skyrim didn't update itself correctly, uninstall your mods (just to be sure nothing messes up more), then verify the integrity of the files through Steam, if anything is broken it will be fixed, then reinstall your mods again and see if that helps.

    Also read the description of each mod to see if you installed them correctly. Usually animations need FNIS to be ran to sort them correctly.

  6. In response to post #10158421.

    It's not called an ALPHA test version for nothing, it's not stable as the official release of NMM which is 0.45.7. And since it's a test version it's mostly meant to be for checking for bugs and glitches so they can be fixed and not be used as a final product.

    "Please remember, only install this version of NMM if you're willing to accept the presence of potentially game stopping bugs (until we fix them)."
  7. Freedom is partly right, NMM doesn't auto-update your mods like Steam would do. You can use it to check for updates for your mods quickly, but you have to download/install them yourself. Be sure to follow the update procedures on the mod's page, some might need you to uninstall the older version completely or just replaces them, others might be just some patch or addon that goes with the older version, but makes it compatible with the desired DLC.

    It's not really for NMM, it's an archiver like winrar, but NMM works best with it.

    Also I've just noticed you said that error you're having is for large files, that also happens due to the limitation of running the 32 bit version of NMM, which can't unpack very large files (don't really know the exact number). You'll need to install the mods manually or upgrade your system to a 64bit one.

  9. Since you're using SKSE based mods, be sure you installed SKSE correctly (by copying both the dll's/exe files and the Data folder to your main Skyrim folder, doing so it will ask you to merge the Data folders -> yes). Also you'll need to start Skyrim through "skse_loader.exe" from now on, otherwise mods depending on it won't work and will give you errors upon loading like SkyUI does and mods not appearing in MCM.

    As for the body mod the changes to it should be seen while naked (if I'm not wrong) if you don't have armor mods designed for that particular body. And the hair mod won't change the npcs since you said it does nothing (unless you install a mod for that). You'll be able to change only yours by typing "showracemenu" without the quotes in the console (~) and go to the hair slider.

  10. Install the "Loose Base Scripts" from the optional files of Racemenu, if you're getting that error and overwrite anything you're told.

    As for the warpaints themselves, there's a tab on the far right, if you don't have any other plugins installed it should be the last one (it looks like a face), called Makeup. Highlight one of the warpaints there, then press "T" for the warpaint selection menu to appear. But choose a color first to see the changes as you scroll though them otherwise they will be invisible.

  11. I'm having the same problem, CTD as combat gets underway. It all started when I added Cloaks and Immersive Armor and Immersive Weapons. I think the clothing mods compete for slots on enemy characters, especially when several show up, and that may break the game. I haven't found the answer yet, still experimenting.

    It's most likely something else at fault, cause I'm running those mods together with no problems (among others of that kind), combat or otherwise. And there are no slots to compete with since each mod uses different slots.

    @krissychan:

    You should look into those errors that Sperg gives about missing plugins, you're also running with a lot of mods that have deleted navmeshes and like BOSS says it might cause problems with your game.

  12. Should be pretty simple, in that download window, highlight/select the mod in question that is paused, then on the left of it there should be a blue "triangle" play button-thing, click it and it should resume the download. If you want to erase that and start over, click the red crossed circle below the triangle, then the "X" that will appear afterwards to completely delete the download. Then all you need to do is start the download as you usually do.

    Maybe this reference screenshot will help too, in case I didn't explain all too well.

  13. I had a similar question, as I found a mod called Dragon Nests that was exclusive to Steam but I'd prefer to use the nmm for mods. However, even though the Steam Launcher says the 'Dragon Nests' file is in my load order, I cannot find this file in the Data folder under steamapps/common/skyrim/Data. I can't find the file anywhere, like its invisible, and I'd really like some way to keep the files since I don't plan on using steam much in the future for mods. Anyone have any idea where the files could be?

    Check your load order in NMM, you'll easily find there the file name of the mod in question. The mod author might've named the files differently than the mod name on Steam.

    ...

    Also to help you out a bit, I've downloaded that mod and the filename should be "dragonnests.esp"
