  1. For anyone coming across this thread while looking for how to output to console in skyrim SE, you can use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28210 Basically, among other things, it allows you to write the console's output to a file by writing after a command: " > filename". So, a space, the character ">" and another space, followed by the name of the file to write to. You might want to wrap the file's name between double-quotes (it's required if it contains spaces). Example: help DA04SeptimusYouCrazy 0 > "console_output.txt"
  2. This is 2 years later but for anyone else having this problem: put the name of the file bewteen double quotes (this character -> " ). Also now I'm trying to understand how to make the console output to a file to be able to see all of the results. Edit: so far I've found only this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28210 Basically, among other things, it allows you to write the console's output to a file by writing after a command: " > filename". So, a space, the character ">" and another space, followed by the name of the file to write to. You might want to wrap the file's name between double-quotes (it's required if it contains spaces). Example: help DA04SeptimusYouCrazy 0 > "console_output.txt" Unfortunately, as of now using the "bat" command like this still doesn't output anything to file... I've asked the author if he can look into it.
  3. I'm super late but thank you for this. I got a crash doing that exact same thing, creating a quest and adding a script before pressing "ok" for the first time. P.S. The creation kit wouldn't open if set to run as an admin. Odd.
  4. Aaand now I'll add my own 2 cents. In case you've tried everything but part of the game's window is still cut off, try this: - right-click on the desktop and select "display settings"; - check if you have something different than 100% under "change the size of text, apps and other items". If you do: - go to the game's folder ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition ); - right-click on "SkyrimSE.exe"; - select the "compatibility" tab; - near the bottom, click on "change high DPI settings"; - check "override high DPI scaling behavior. scaling performed by:" and make sure the selected value is "application"; - click "ok" and then "ok" again. Enjoy. (If you don't... I have no idea, sorry.)
  5. am I the only one that thinks all of the site's text is blurry?
  6. In response to post #41057460. #41057755, #41057835, #41057960, #41058040 are all replies on the same post. @hatsjer OKAY OKAY I'LL DO IT, ARE YOU HAPPY?? GEEZ edit: I just hope my personal info aren't kept somewhere.
  7. In response to post #41057460. #41057755, #41057835 are all replies on the same post. @PickaxeZach duh I disabled adblock on this site after that big post about ads they made.
  8. this is unrelated but, there are still ads that hijack the whole page and make many instant redirects, and contain porn.
  9. In response to post #39528730. bravo! why did nobody reply to this?
  10. In response to post #39498625. #39499265, #39499445 are all replies on the same post. mmh I'm pretty sure that those modders that make huge mods with side quests, many npcs, etc. don't do them for themselves. also because, since they made them, they aren't gonna enjoy them as much as other people would, since they already know absolutely everything about them.
  11. In response to post #39498625. and where will they go? I mean, if they want to keep modding.
  12. In response to post #39493020. #39493465, #39494175, #39494320, #39494820, #39495215, #39495510, #39495745, #39495875, #39496060, #39496080, #39496750, #39496960, #39497070, #39497535, #39497750 are all replies on the same post. @arkancelo lol you REALLY should have kept reading, because this argument you raised is covered near the end. search this in the page: "Why should mod authors care about others taking their work? Surely they release mods so that as many people as possible can enjoy them?" and feel stupid. edit: wow I had this page open for a while. I've probably been ninja'd several times, lol
  13. In response to post #37620110. #37620280 is also a reply to the same post. thanks for replying. I'll deactivate adblock plus saturday, then.
  14. what I never understood is: are ads pay-per-click or pay-per-view? (also, are these the correct terms? >_>) because if they are pay-per-view, I'll gladly disable adblock plus. the reason why I use it, other than because the ads are annoying, is that I never, ever click on them. evur! since I never use them, if they are pay-per-click they have no reason at all to be there for me.
  15. yaaay I forgot to mention one thing in the survey: it would be useful to be able to disable emoticons on posts when modifying them and not only when creating them >_>
