Basically a mod where packs of feral ghouls (or raiders, muties, etc.) attack a settlement (vanilla or custom) with increasing waves of difficulty. It seems easy enough once the wave system is implemented, just modify a settlement and give it minimal turrets/guards and a finite amount of resources, maybe with additional resources unlocked periodically. Almost like Nazi Zombies in CoD Black Ops. I'm not sure if there is a mod that does this already, but I poked around the Nexus a bit and didn't find anything. I think this would be a great way to have fun in the game, especially for players like me who have gotten a bit bored of it. Thanks for reading.

Is there already a mod/is it possible to make the actual model for items displayed within UI to be opaque instead of transparent and in your chosen color of HUD? Apologies if I make little sense (lol) but I'm not sure how else to word it. Particularly whenever I get a new weapon mod, I would like the opportunity to get a good look at it without needing to drop it/wield it. I have no idea what to search for and I looked through several pages of the "User Interface" category on the Nexus but didn't see quite what I was looking for. Thanks.

When I think of a badass gun that I would want in Fallout 4, immediately the Galil from Call of Duty: Black Ops (the first one) comes to mind. The look, feel, and sound culminate into being one of my favorite weapons in a video game. A direct port would be ideal, but I realize there are a lot of technical/copyright issues and other restrictions regarding mods on the Nexus. I've tried searching "Galil" on the nexus but came up empty. I also sifted through the weapons category a little but I didn't find anything that strongly resembles it. Thanks for reading. Apply new texture to existing companion mod?
BeefyKrunch replied to BeefyKrunch's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I had thought about that too, but for this particular play-through I wanted to have an actual raider companion instead of one of the standard ones (Cait doesn't count lol). But oh well, I'll just have to wait for the GECK to be released. Thanks for your input. -
Hi. So basically I want to apply a tattooed CBBE body texture to an existing companion mod. Note that this is just for my own personal use, not reupload or anything. I knew how to do this in FNV/FO3 with the GECK, but I don't quite know which value to change using FO4Edit to do this. Looking through the mod data for the Cyan mod, I suspect it could be the field "WNAM-Worn Armor" see Gyazo https://gyazo.com/1adf26e959f8059c35fe8423ec5604a4 because it is the only one I saw that sort of makes sense (again, I only have a little experience with FO4Edit). I see fields dealing with head/face data but no body ones. And even if my hunch is correct, I have no idea what I would change the value to. Googling around doesn't produce anything helpful. Maybe I'm approaching this completely wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks *EDIT* fixed my broken Gyazo link.

Followers Won't Stop Talking About Mirelurks
BeefyKrunch replied to BeefyKrunch's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
A lot of things in FO4 seem rushed or botched in some way. The game had so much potential and while I still do enjoy it, it will never stack up to the good old FO3/NV days... -
Followers Won't Stop Talking About Mirelurks
BeefyKrunch replied to BeefyKrunch's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Man, consider yourself lucky then. Every time they start with that mirelurk crap I whip around and shoot them in the face. But even that doesn't ease the pain anymore.. -
In my current game, I have the multiple followers mod with Piper, Cait and Dogmeat. For the past, I don't know, 2 days of IRL played time, all they (except Dogmeat of course, lol) ever talk about is how they hate Mirelurks. No matter where I am in the map, tunnels, military bases, caves, etc. It is annoying the hell out of me. Are there any mods I can get that either fix this, or just shut them up entirely? I've looked under the companions category and the audio - voice category and didn't quite find anything that will do this. Thanks

Porting a Fallout 3 and/or NV Mod to 4?
BeefyKrunch replied to BeefyKrunch's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
It was a follower I made 100% from scratch. I just wanted this for my own personal use as well, not to upload. I was pretty unclear in my post now that I think about it. Would it still be against copyright even if I legally own a copy of all the games involved? Thanks. -
Title says it all. Is it possible to port a mod from F3/NV to F4 at this time? I read that F4 runs on the same, albeit modified, engine as F3/NV (or was it Skyrim? I forget). I've previously ported several mods from F3 to New Vegas with FNVEdit using a Tale of Two Wastelands guide. If anyone has experience with this, would it be possible to follow the same, or similar process? Note that this is just for personal use, no uploading. The mod I want to port is a follower I created back in Fallout 3 that I revamped and ported over to NV. Ideally I would also like to have the same voice as well (the vanilla Raider voice from Fallout 3). My modding knowledge is... rudimentary at best but I can figure most things out in time. Sorry I sound like an idiot lol. Thanks in advance guys. EDIT: hell, now that I think about it, I guess all I would really need is the face and maybe the voice, I could repurpose/recreate everything else around it if it comes to that. Is there a way to export an NPC's face data from NV to make it work with F4? I probably need to wait for the GECK too. Wow, I can't post very well this late at night it seems...

New Game Crash (tried getting help elsewhere)

Apparently nothing I suggested was of any help :( -

Crap double post my bad. One more thing I almost forgot - when you do get it installed, try right-clicking the icon and click "Run as Administrator". Sometimes that can be an issue too, that there are insufficient privileges to actually run the program fully. You can make the run as admin thing permanent by right-clicking the icon and going to Properties. From there, go to the Compatibility tab and check the "Run this program as an administrator" box. -
New Game Crash (tried getting help elsewhere)
BeefyKrunch replied to rebekah1's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
I've heard of (and experienced) Fallout being finicky about where you install it. The default location of Windows7 would be like C:\Program Files (x86) I think. Try installing it in an area other than that, like in my case I made it in the root of my C:\ drive, so the path would be C:\Bethesda Softworks. Also, have you installed any mods yet? If so, you might need the ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! tweak. I don't know anything about Intel GFX cards, I have an AMD myself so I'm not sure what to say about that... So yeah try that and get back to me. I know how frustrating crashes and whatnot can be, I've been there :P -
I apologize if this has been posted before, I poked around to see any similar posts but didn't find any. Ok so here's my problem. Any Mutie that spawns with any weapon that isn't vanilla (such as a Neostead Combat SG, M60 Machine gun or Wattz 2000 Laser Rifle) is unable to use the weapon and instead charges at me with his fists, which makes fighting them a joke and kills my immersion. I'm guessing that this is a FWE-MMM related issue. Here's my load order (which probably isn't optimal, I just use the BOSS auto sort function of FMM). I appreciate any input on how to resolve this, thanks.
