  1. When, where, how? I'm running the latest update of fallout 4 and it's not snapping. I'm using a place everywhere mod as well.
  2. I noticed that the scaffolding building pieces from Contraptions DLC don't snap with barn, warehouse, wood or concrete pieces even though they snap with each other perfectly. I think it's a design oversight and I really wish a modder would fix that! Cheers.
  3. Just wondering if it's possible to add a slider that lets you select quantity based on your inventory. For example if I have 100 plastic and 200 fertilizer, I should be able to craft 100 jet with one click instead of pressing "E" 200 times (1 for are you sure prompt). Is it possible? If not, it would be nice if there are additional crafting workbenches for producing 5x, 10x, 50x etc.
  4. Guards animations with them holding their crotches is nice, but I want guard posts where settlers simply hold their weapons; like in Goodneighbor.
  5. I don't care how cool your pipe weapon is! If you are not assigned to guard duty, we don't want you to obstruct police work. I hate it when settlers storm at attackers while those actually assigned to guard duty use proper squad tactics. Eventually, it's the regular settlers who end up thwarting the attack.
  6. In the vanilla version, there's always a tendency to build hundreds of water purifiers so that you can sell all the generated water. To prevent this, how about adding an additional requirement? Water purifiers or pumps won't produce water unless a settler is assigned to it.
  7. +1 here. I want to be able to craft pathways like it's laid out in diamond city. However, those diamond city roads are really just railings, doors and walls laid out horizontally. So if there's a mod that lets you freely rotate objects, that will also do. The "Place Everywhere" mod already lets you scale, rotate, remove surface snapping and place objects in the air, so that should also help.
  8. There are too many threads out there, asking for this. Where are the modders?
  9. I use this invisible furniture mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13343/? to add markers in my settlements. There's a marker for each and every type of animation, including leaning, sitting on ground, drinking, eating noodles, dancing, leaning on rails, leaning on walls, worshipping and several others. Place enough of these "furniture" items (markers) in a particular room and idle settlers will start hanging out there. Place the right markers and you can actually create a mall-like environment.
  10. I'd like a Mod where you can establish a supply line to Diamond City, Goodneighbor or Vault 81 so I can directly purchase building materials in workshop mode. So if I want to build a bed, instead of paying for it in Steel and Cloth, I use caps instead.
  11. This is a mod idea that I support. I too created a similar thread like this some time in the past.
  12. It's annoying having to go back to Preston Garvey every time I kill a raider or rescue a settler, inform the settlers and then returning to Garvey. Just remove the last part. I don't want to have to return to Preston Garvey. Just complete the quest after I inform the settlers. The next time I go to Garvey, he should give me a new quest.
  13. I hate that minutemen wear lousy shirts, torn hats and a useless laser musket when your settlement guards are equipped with heavy combat armor and silenced assault rifles. I want to be able to equip minutemen with whatever gear I want so that I can not only make them look awesome, but be an actual force to be reckoned with, every time I summon them with my flare gun. To that end, all it takes is a simple "trade" dialog whenever I interact with a "Minuteman". I tried searching for it, but couldn't find any. Maybe somebody needs to make it.
  14. Just make molerats and radscorpions stop teleporting underneath you. That mechanic is stupid!
  15. I tried searching "Interior walls", "snap walls", "inside walls" and found nothing. Thanks. :)
  16. It's frustrating that walls only snap on the outside of a foundation. Suppose I have a 5x5 foundation on the ground, I should be able to snap walls around the middle 3x3 foundations or the inner-most 1x1 foundation too.
  17. A lot of in-game items are dependent on time. For example, number of new settlers, food produced and water generated depends on in-game time instead of the elapsed time. That's why, sleeping in a bed or waiting on a chair for 24 hours won't generate any extra junk, supplies or spawn new settlers. What this mod does, is change the way wait / sleep system works. Instead of teleporting to a set number of hours later, players should instead ease into it by increasing timescale from the default, then setting it back to normal.
  18. You find "that" annoying? How about when settlers become thankful as soon as you defended it in an attack? It makes it impossible to trade with your settlers once a settlement gets attacked, just because their thankfulness dialog plays over and over again. You have my vote. I hate gratitude too.
  19. Just makes more sense not to appear right among the attackers whenever a settlement is attacked.
  20. Go to resources > Misc and you'll see a desk, chair and whiteboard next to it. This is the settlement management system. When you assign a settler to it, he/she will sit on that desk. This settler performing this desk job, gives your settlement the following benefits More crops per settlerMore security per settlerMore junk gathered per settlerMore happinessMore spawn rate for new settlersSettlers assigned to this desk job are considered "mayor" and give out radiant questsBut this isn't the main advantage of the SMS. The main advantage is this When you interact with that desk (settlement management system), your character will run the clipboard animation that some vendors and doctors use. A new dialog opens up, which provides the following data Number of settlersNumber of settlers assigned to foodNumber of settlers assigned to securityNumber of settlers assigned to scavenging stationsNumber of settlers that are idleAuto-assign all button More functionality can be added later on. What do you think?
  21. Just, don't let companions teleport! If I tell a companion to hide behind a rock, they should stay there for 24 hours, no matter where I go. It's fine if they magically reappear next to me 24 hours later. But please, please make those companions stop teleporting when I move from cell to cell.
  22. Bethesda made sure Dogmeat never dies. That's okay, but should he jump right back into the fight after being mauled by a deathclaw? With this mod, you can't use your companion immediately after he/she falls. Instead, you need to wait 24 hours after applying stimpak. Companions will automatically appear next to you 24 in-game hours later, no matter where you are because hey, there's only so much the creation engine can do. Maybe you can use your own injury animation just to make things interesting.
