  1. Just wondering if it's possible to add a slider that lets you select quantity based on your inventory. For example if I have 100 plastic and 200 fertilizer, I should be able to craft 100 jet with one click instead of pressing "E" 200 times (1 for are you sure prompt).

    Is it possible?

If not, it would be nice if there are additional crafting workbenches for producing 5x, 10x, 50x etc.

  2. +1 here. I want to be able to craft pathways like it's laid out in diamond city. However, those diamond city roads are really just railings, doors and walls laid out horizontally. So if there's a mod that lets you freely rotate objects, that will also do.

The "Place Everywhere" mod already lets you scale, rotate, remove surface snapping and place objects in the air, so that should also help.

  3. Settlements could be improved if the inventories were shared between settlements that are linked by supply lines, ie place an item in one workshop, grab it out of another.

Currently, only resources are shared, so you can build stuff from items in another workshop.

There are too many threads out there, asking for this. Where are the modders?

  4. I use this invisible furniture mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13343/? to add markers in my settlements. There's a marker for each and every type of animation, including leaning, sitting on ground, drinking, eating noodles, dancing, leaning on rails, leaning on walls, worshipping and several others.

Place enough of these "furniture" items (markers) in a particular room and idle settlers will start hanging out there. Place the right markers and you can actually create a mall-like environment.

  5. I hate that minutemen wear lousy shirts, torn hats and a useless laser musket when your settlement guards are equipped with heavy combat armor and silenced assault rifles.

I want to be able to equip minutemen with whatever gear I want so that I can not only make them look awesome, but be an actual force to be reckoned with, every time I summon them with my flare gun.

To that end, all it takes is a simple "trade" dialog whenever I interact with a "Minuteman". I tried searching for it, but couldn't find any. Maybe somebody needs to make it.

  6. A lot of in-game items are dependent on time. For example, number of new settlers, food produced and water generated depends on in-game time instead of the elapsed time. That's why, sleeping in a bed or waiting on a chair for 24 hours won't generate any extra junk, supplies or spawn new settlers.

What this mod does, is change the way wait / sleep system works. Instead of teleporting to a set number of hours later, players should instead ease into it by increasing timescale from the default, then setting it back to normal.

  7. You find "that" annoying? How about when settlers become thankful as soon as you defended it in an attack? It makes it impossible to trade with your settlers once a settlement gets attacked, just because their thankfulness dialog plays over and over again.

You have my vote. I hate gratitude too.

  8. Go to resources > Misc and you'll see a desk, chair and whiteboard next to it. This is the settlement management system.

When you assign a settler to it, he/she will sit on that desk. This settler performing this desk job, gives your settlement the following benefits

    • More crops per settler
    • More security per settler
    • More junk gathered per settler
    • More happiness
    • More spawn rate for new settlers
    • Settlers assigned to this desk job are considered "mayor" and give out radiant quests

But this isn't the main advantage of the SMS. The main advantage is this

When you interact with that desk (settlement management system), your character will run the clipboard animation that some vendors and doctors use.

A new dialog opens up, which provides the following data

    • Number of settlers
    • Number of settlers assigned to food
    • Number of settlers assigned to security
    • Number of settlers assigned to scavenging stations
    • Number of settlers that are idle
    • Auto-assign all button

More functionality can be added later on. What do you think?

  9. Just, don't let companions teleport! If I tell a companion to hide behind a rock, they should stay there for 24 hours, no matter where I go. It's fine if they magically reappear next to me 24 hours later.

But please, please make those companions stop teleporting when I move from cell to cell.

  10. Bethesda made sure Dogmeat never dies. That's okay, but should he jump right back into the fight after being mauled by a deathclaw?

With this mod, you can't use your companion immediately after he/she falls. Instead, you need to wait 24 hours after applying stimpak. Companions will automatically appear next to you 24 in-game hours later, no matter where you are because hey, there's only so much the creation engine can do.

Maybe you can use your own injury animation just to make things interesting.
