  1. I'm going through them one by one as we speak. thanks Ok update: I updated a couple mods Place everywhere Radrose Usability immersive settlers Amazing Follower tweaks however even with new mods and all esp disabled it still crashes The load order is the same even with no mods installed the only difference is F4SE v 0.6.10! I don't get it. Two days ago my load order was stable AND HAPPY. BUT NOW i AM sAD.
  2. IDK if anyone else is having this problem but here goes. I updated the script extender to the newest game version .98 and updated MCM, LooksMenu which are version dependent. Otherwise I made no changes to the load order. When I start game it gets to the ENB screen and crashes b4 it gets to the bethesda screen. I tried to launch using the normal launcher and all is well except no F4SE. Then I disabled all my mods and started F4SE and it got to the bethesda screen and crashed B4 the press any button screen. Again the normal launcher works fine. Any suggestions?? anyone else having a similar problem? Thanks guys and gals. damion
  3. Hello all. I have been using Natural and Atmospheric Commonwealth as my weather mod since I played on XBone. I have been using Film Workshop as my ENB preset and then I switched to Pilgrim for my newest playthrough. I had to disable NAC for Pilgrim and now I want to switch back to Film Workshop or PRC and I can't find my NAC??? I have the NAC armorsmith patch file but not the main file. I also do not find itr under nexus or bethesda search. Anyone have any suggestions? L00 help me brother. I love your mod. thanks
  4. Idk if people still read this but I have been wondering. We have to take certain liberties with these topics as the fallout universe, while similar, is not the same as our own. But we can make educated guesses. So we know from our history and the cannon especially in FO4 that the institute has perfected DNA sequencing and synthetic biology to the point where synths are Indistinguishable from humans except the synth component. I have been thinking; what if the synth component is nothing more than an interface or adapter so to speak where a computer can interact (write, delete, paste whatever) with the human brain using the component as the intermediary? Some synths like Valentine and Danse were given memories. That is memories were writen unto his brain to act as a base for the AI to build off of. In the Nick story line we learn that although all of what he original nick valentine was and is is still there, yet there is a whole other chapter in he nick valentine saga acted out by the synth. At the point of meeting him he is already his own "person" having created a life all his own. The AI simply took the base and then built off of it. The other type of synths the worker synths weren't given specific memories but a more general personality. I call them the Worker Synths. The ones we see wandering the institute. While unique enough to have different types of synths I think the have the same core programming. Some are tweaked to have special attributes like x6-88. Here is where I get questions. Do you think that the component is like I say, interfacing with the computer to convert the program language to electrical impulses that can be interpreted by the brain? If so do they have to be Hooked up or can it be done remotely? My guess is they have to physically have the synth for anything to work like with the recall code. Or is it more like a processor with the code imbedded and the AI can inject commands or scrips at a moments notice? Maybe then the institute can simply install mods to cange the synths behavior patterns without wiping the whole mind. I'm interested in people's opinions so please feel free to share. Thank you.
  5. Thank you for including GamerPoets in your Sunday Discussion series. In Oct of 2016, to coordinate with the release of Skyrim SE, I fulfilled a long lost dream of building my first gamerPC. I had been modding Fallout 4 on Xbone and very quickly became overwhelmed with the subtlety of NMM, SKSE< MO, STEP, and many other terms. Gopher got me started but when I failed the second time I discovered STEP and GamerPoets official video series. So many people try to make tutorials fun and interesting (Think MxR vs. Brodual) and I end up watching for 7 min before I get to the info I need. Michael really nails it. He is straight to the point and content only without all the extras. I found I could follow step by step and I really learned a lot. The Paxton series is top notch. The circumstances of his creation are horrible and I am glad that Michael found a healthy way to deal with trauma. long story short, I have really learned a lot from GamerPoets and really feel a part of something. He's right, the modding community is active, supportive, and thriving. Please remember to endorse and support your hardworking modders, YouTubers, and the Nexus for making all this possible. Cheers!
