  1. I'm trying to make another mod that uses content from this game, but I can't figure out how to get the sound files. I'm using the instructions provided in this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/metalgearsolidvtpp/mods/826?tab=files But I've noticed that the files I extract using this method are in .wem format, and I can't seem to find any audio programs that can load that. I tried importing the raw data using Audacity, but the sound files I get using that method sound different from the actual in-game sounds. Any way for me to get the sounds from Metal Gear Solid V? I'm interested in the sounds of guns (including gunshots, shell casings falling, reloading sounds, etc.) and the sounds of the iDroid. Instructions on how to convert .wem format files would also be nice.
  2. I tried reinstalling the mod and loading a save that used the Familiar Friend - but I got a crash to desktop. I tried opening up the game, exiting out of the game without loading a save, then opening the game up again and loading a save that used hte Familiar Friend - but I got a crash to desktop. I tried opening up a new game, but also experienced a crash to desktop. At no point during any of these attempts did I have the opportunity to open up my inventory and run the uninstall function. As a final resort, I'm going to start from scratch again - deleting everything in the FNV folder, uninstalling all my mods, and starting over. Thanks for helping me. If more problems arise, I'll be sure to let you know.
  3. After a few things (including uninstalling the game and reinstalling it fresh but with the same mods in Vortex), I decided to just start uninstalling mods and checking the game to see if the issue persisted. While this has solved the issue (mousing over containers no longer causes a crash to desktop), another issue has arisen. As I was uninstalling mods, I unwittingly uninstalled the mod for "A Familiar Friend - Pipboy 2500". I did so without using the "Uninstall" item that comes with the mod. Now, when I attempt to load into any game, I experience an immediate crash to desktop. I'm... unsure of how to solve this problem.
  4. Exactly what it sounds like - as soon as I'm in range to open a container of any kind (trash can, ammo box, whatever) the game freezes up before crashing. Playing New Vegas Ultimate Edition with all the DLC, including Gun Runner's Arsenal and the Courier's Stash packs. EDIT: I should have probably told you from the start that the crashes and the issues occurred when I tried to install the Loot Menu (Link here) alongside the list of mods here. I've since uninstalled the mod but am still running into issues. I'll edit the list of mods below to show my full list of plugins as shown by LOOT soon. SECOND EDIT: I've done it. The mods I've installed include: Here's the list of plugins, at least, according to the order LOOT shows. I'm not really feeling up to the task of trying to uninstall every mod (or, in a few cases, sets of mods) to try to solve the issue (though I will do that if I can't find the solution). If anyone could figure out what might be causing issues, I would be quite grateful.
