  3. Hey guys so im having a slight problem with CTD's, it seems only to happen when i die so whenever i die and the game automatically loads up the save it will crash every time, but it seems to happen literally only if i had died before if i quit skyrim and try to open a save that was just before the death it will crash, but any other save works fine im not sure if load order from LOOT will help to much but here it is anyways if anyone could help it would be awesome thanks  Skyrim.esmCRC: C665FD56Update.esmCRC: 1FDAB215Add: Delev, RelevUnofficial Skyrim Patch.espCRC: FB709557Version: 2.0.4aAdd: Delev, Names, Relev, StatsDawnguard.esmCRC: 31FEA081Add: Delev, RelevWarning: Contains 6 ITM records. 4. It's something to do with the physx engine, I did have issue when I was at 120 fps, first the main start scene in the cart well the carts start spinning and tipping and it breaks the scene and you can't do anything, then on another thing was inside the inn at river wood all the cups and items behind the bar would all just go crazy and fly around, but I have tried 72fps everything seemed fine so I don't know
  5. i dont know how you can go from playing 144 to playing any game at 33fps it is so laggy and yer im using nvidia at the moment
  6. hey so i own a 144hz benq monitor and the only two games i really play are csgo and skyrim, now for skyrim 144hz isnt useable due to the 60hz physx limit as ive been told so ive figured using the ''v sync half refresh rate'' whilst using 120hz is my best option for the best of both worlds being a mainly fps player the 144hz was a fairly large boost for me and it really does make a difference, now with 120hz it feels nearly as smooth but it just isnt the same and you do notice it to be not as responsive (i know its only 24hz but i do feel i notice the lack of it, a lot of people say they dont see the difference but for me i can definately tell) so my question is, is there some sought of program or anyway to get my refresh rate to automatically switch between 144 and 120 depending on the game i start, i know it does not take long to change manually but i seem to go inbetween a lot so it would be awesome to have something that could do it automatically thanks
  7. given the limited information you provide there isnt much anyone can really help i recommend doing a re install which is what i spent all of today doing it could be anything really...you dont say what mods your running, maybe running out of vram or anything
  8. SORRY IT SEEMS TO HAVE SOLVED ITSELF, NOT SURE HOW TO REMOVE POST hey so i decided to do a clean re install of skyrim and all mods due to the previous save getting to prone to crashing due to much fiddling with mods ( and probably poor uninstalling installing etc) anyways so the game seems stable and fine when im playing no problems at all with pretty much all the mods i was running before (only ctd was 10 min into a 1500 speed stability test which im fine with) so when i got to exit to desktop (if i exit to menu it works then same problem when i try to quit from menu) it exits then skyrim freezes and comes up with "skyrim has stopped working" the usual windows thing, its not like a ctd that usually happens with skyrim due to mods, so im curious if anyone else has had this happen its not exactly game breaking and so far it doesnt seem to have and affect apart from the slight nuisance of habing to ctrl alt delete to close skyrim any ideas? its the first time this has happened to me, im wondering if its got something to do with mods although im sure it isn't as it was happening when i only had the unofficial patches and does exact same thing with rest of mods installed thanks
  9. I gotta agree with this guy (on one...and an obvious point), the game is broke and the responses are always the same and usually to no avail....buttttt I have the worst OCD for mods, i think i finally have a set of mods that look awesome and seem "stable", then its 3am in the morning, im bored, watching youtube and scrolling through mods which i have seen and contemplated many times before, then BAM i go and download a mod which most likely i have used before and know screws my game up, but no i go and do it again and screw my game up, fml Please tell me you guys are like this, its like a never ending pursue to get more mods to make an already nice looking game look better but end up just screwing things up that were already fine Im just gonna take the blame off myself and say the game is "broke"(well...it kinda is but i think i make it ...broke..err?)....totally not cause my impulse to mod it constantly Its pretty obvious modders haven't abandoned skyrim, in a way since skyrims game-play isn't all that challenging..i think people mod it...now thats a real challenge...if anyone here has a 100% stable "heavy" modded game you deserve a gigantic chocolate chip internet cookie with sprinkles on the top, ive heard its still up for grab though Maybe one day we can have a TES game that was purposely built for modding....but for now im just gonna push this one fast what it can handle then cry myself to sleep when i get crashes and freezes..lifes hard  that's my rant for the day ...im out :pirate:
  10. thanks guys, at the moment im running project ENB so i think that sorts the shadows, but i will take a look into draw distance, i have a 3770k i7 and at most its running at 40% in the most intensive areas i can find, ill have a play around with the texture packs as i have the 2k lite edition, ill test it out with the full version. i had wanted a mod to increase population as areas seem quite sparse, i was worried that would be a gpu based mod but ill try some out thanks again :D
  11. yer sorry i kinda didnt say what i meant, what im trying to ask is if there are any mods that will add to my gaame which really solely on cpu power (as i have alot to spare) which will add something to my game, like better graphics or anything really
  12. can anyone give me a quick rundown of what type of mods for skyrim most effect the different components i have a fair bit of vram and cpu power to spare so i was wondering if there were any mods that used cpu power over gpu as my gpu is running nearly 100% full time im guessing this sounds silly to some of you but any suggestions would be awesome thanks
  13. hey there ive decided im going to get rid of all the mods i have used and fully restart clean again this was my first time at modding and ive run into so many issues just from doing silly things like messing with files etc so i want to start off clean and take every mod off (120 in total -_-) and set all the data back to the vanilla versions so i can start clean and hopefully do it properly this time i would love it if there was some way which saved me from downloading all of skyrim again from steam as i have fairly slow internet, but i want to get rid of everything i dont know where to start though, all the mods were on nexus mod manager apart from some ENBs which i failed pretty hard at installing haha...even though it worked out im sick of constant crashes and not having a clue if mods are conflicting when i re install im gonna reduce the amount of mods and keep it clean, as i know which ones i want know hoepfully there wont be any overlapping of mods thanks in advance :D
  14. is it ok to remove things that mods i have installed have placed? so far i have just removed mainly trees from a white run tree mod, as some tree were in silly positions or clipping through items from other mods, mainly i just took out trees and some barrels and a farm that had been added by dawn of skyrim (would it be safe if i just took out a few trees etc, nothing major like buildings or anything) i have 0 clue how to use a mod kit...would be cool to make my own one, dont know annything about making mods though :/ thanks for the response though, didnt even come to my mind to make my own hahaa
  15. hey there im new to modding just started few days ago but ive gotten pretty 'addicted' to it so far haha, spent more time on mods than on the game  anyways, ive been running into problems of clipping with combining mods or just poorly designed mods and figured out i can delete things like trees and statues (basically anything it seems) using the command console and typing "disable" on clicked items, this seems just to good to be true, i have basically customized whiterun all over with deleting things that i didnt like the look of so question is, will this have any negative re-percussions in the future, im kinda scared im gonna go somewhere and find things just randomly missing (not sure if itemsa are connected in other cities etc) if i was to delete a tree in whiterun for example code "342JF9" is there any chance that there is other items that use identical codes elsewhere that will be deleted?? it just seems to good to be true thanks :D
