  1. For the past month I've been having all sorts of trouble with making mods work. I define working here, as appearing in-game at all. The mods are fine, and installation goes smoothly. Some mods worked. Some wouldn't. And some mods that I re-installed for troubleshooting, failed to appear in-game, despite those mods being enabled on Vortex. However, I discovered that the mods that didn't work, didn't have a * in the Plugins.txt file. Which of course means, that they weren't enabled. So Vortex isn't correctly connecting to plugins.txt. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way so I don't have to manually enable all the mods I install? Does this have anything to do with when I ran Vortex as administrator, it gave me a warning? I'm just curious about this. Manually enabling mods is better than just having no mods work at all. I'm a very inexperienced modder. I just download mods and mess around on Fallout 4. Thanks for reading! -Ube
  2. If I have mods on Vortex that work, while I have others that won't work when I install them via Vortex while they're the same catagory, how could I mess up installation?
  3. Lately I've been constant issues with Vortex. More and more mods that I install or try to re-install just don't show up in my game afterwards. I've tried running Vortex in admin mode despite the warning I got the first time. Usually running it in admin mode works, but other times it just doesn't. I've been trying to fix my Pip-Pad because it kept appearing on my wrist as if it was trying to become a pip boy. But now that I've uninstalled it, I cannot get it to work anymore on Fallout 4. When I try to open the MCM tab for the pip pad it says that "Pippad.esp is missing" despite the fact that I downloaded it. I redownloaded it a few times as well. I am not a modder. I'm just a gamer. So I have no idea what problem I might have.
  4. I've downloaded the Suomi M31 as uploaded by Millenia, as can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/57679 As I do not like facing a weapon on raiders and Legion that in real life is uncommon, I've tried to get rid of it being in the leveled list via the GECK, by checking boxes in the flags. I'd like to point out that I'm incredibly incompetent with the GECK and I'll only be using it for those little changes. I load the game, and I do not find it where the description on the mod page says it would be. I've gone on FNVedit to track down its item ID; xx000ADE (Load order was 18 for me). But typing this in revealed that no such object existed. Have I forgotten something? Have I done something wrong? I just want to shoot a Suomi in peace.
  5. So, who out there really would enjoy Danse's quarters to become more customizable? I know I would like to see it, in the same way AS Institute Workshops did it. Would it really be that hard? Thanks for reading!
  6. Thanks for checking this page out! I had an idea that could help some BoS sentinels; the ones who want to wear BoS fatigues, but with their own customized body shape! But since the same file is used for all of them (except the regular field scribe one, which has a backpack), it's hard to customize it to your own needs. So I was wondering, could somebody make a patch for BodySlide, so the officer, captain and medic fatigues are 3 different outfits within bodyslide? So, for instance, you could wear medic fatigues, and the rest of the other fatigues stay vanilla, despite that they're the same model, but different textures. I hope I was clear enough!!
  7. So, who's good at recreating the likeness of celebrities in Fallout 4??? I know I'm not, so I'm curious if someone can make one or more of the following people: John Lennon, Paul Mccartney, Ringo Starr. It would be awesome to see one of them, yes I've seen the John Lennon one before but it's just not that good. I recommend The Beatles Rockband for reference, since those games don't look 100% realistic. Thanks!
