  1. Hello, I recently wanted to start my oblivion fresh with no saved games and no mods. To do this I completely deleted the Oblivion folder in steamapps and the Oblivion folder in My Documents. I deleted local content in steam and reinstalled and the Oblivion folder went back into steamapps. I tried playing but after I hit play on the launcher, the game crashes. The window opens, I get the message, then I hit close program. As it turns out, the Oblivion folder in My Documents was not replaced during the installation and can't be added again from loading up the game (At least thats how I think its added) due to the crashes. Finally, I tried to verify the integrity of the game cache but I go no prompt to replace missing files as it probably detected none missing. I would appreciate it if someone were to help me. Thanks.
  2. I just got Mount and Blade: Warband and I am having trouble putting it down. I have noticed one thing though, whether or not I have the "Hide Blood" box checked, there is no blood in the game. Could someone help me with this? thanks.
  3. I'll be sure to give these a try. They all look great!
  4. Thanks :) I'll give these a try. Now I will be able to sate my thirst for prancing around a village on my high horse as their ruler.
  5. Hey, I was just curious (Typing this out before I go to bed to see if I get a response in the morning) are there any mods for Oblivion out there that let you rule, lord over, or generally govern some people? Something like a village with a palace, estate, or castle. I would really like to try something like that out.
  6. I downloaded that mod and the problem appears to be gone. Thanks for the help!
  7. Hello, I have recently come into a problem that I cannot figure out. It's fairly easy to explain, so I'll keep this short, but I just down know how to fix it. Whenever I swing whatever melee weapon I am using it still has the normal sound, but there is also this weird rumbling. It sounds a little bit like a repeating swish noise, but I can't really tell what it is. This noise starts and stops with the attack animation like any other sound, too. I would like for someone to help me with this issue. Thanks.
  8. It worked. Thanks for all of your help. It is appreciated.
  9. Reinstalling now. I hope this works, or else we'd have reached a dead end because the configator won't run.
  10. I tried to run the New Vegas COnfigator, but it said that it was not a valid win32 application.
  11. I'll do that, but it doesn't seem like a performance problem, more like a bug, it's not slow motion form low FPS, but ironically it is pretty cool, but makes me angry how it renders my game unplayable.
  12. To be exact, I went into the FO:NV folder and searched "Fallout.ini", what came up was a notepad thing called "Fallout_Default" I opened that and set the "iFPSclamp" as "iFPSclamp=60". After this, the game played about the same for a while, and then became slow motion. I googled some thigns and found out that I should set it back to 0, so I went back and changed it form "iFPSclamp=60" back to "iFPSclamp=0", but it was still in slow motion.
  13. I had the FPS clamp set to 60 before, but when the slow motion problem showed up, I set it back to 0, but it is still in slow motion.
  14. Well, I've hit a giant brick wall. I deactivated every single mod I have and it is still in slow motion AND there is nothing set as the attack button, and when I try to change it to the left mouse, it doesn't work, but one thing at a time. Ya, so it is fun to play around with the cool slow motion for a bit, but I still can't play the game.
  15. It would probably be a pain for the modder to make, though. It would need a lot of scripiting, I think. I don't really have the modding ability, I've placed some things in the GECK before and changed some NPC's. judging from things that I hear, It would be difficult to script a whole system where NPC's make smart bets. It could also be based off "The Thorn" if you think about, just with humans, and not just some in-game creatures.
