  1. This was a mod for the first game now PLEASE somebody make this mod for Jedi: Survivor as well!!! My immersion is being broken so hard without this in the new game... I got so used to this mod when I last played Fallen Order that now it is constantly breaking my immersion every single time I see my lightsaber touching something and not leaving burn marks... And the worst part is that in Survivor the lightsaber actually DOES leave burn marks on walls ONLY when you swing with the attack button. So clearly the burn marks are actually programmed into the game but they're only ENABLED when you press attack??? What kind of logic is that??? I want the lightsaber to burn everything everywhere all the time when walking around. I'm really disappointed in the developers for dropping the ball on this feature AGAIN... Somebody please fix this because it's one of the only things that is really ruining my enjoyment of the new game so far...

  2. Edit: I just dusted off my Japanese PS2 and this game for the first time in years and just found out I had some mandella effect and I was wrong this whole time about the inside of limit form's jacket being blue, it is in fact actually black in the PS2 version. Oh well, I was still right about it being changed to red in 2.5 when it's not supposed to be red. I still want it fixed.
  3. I can't find any photos of it on Google, nor can I boot up the original PS2 version to take a picture, but I know that in the original PS2 version of KH2FM, the inside of Sora's jacket was colored blue while in limit form, but in the remasters, for some unknown reason they changed the lower half of it to red, but the upper half (if you look at the hood) is still remains blue. You can even look at his KH1 model for proof that it is SUPPOSED to be blue. In certain cutscenes you can really tell that the red does not contrast and blends in with the red of his pants and it looks ugly. This has always bothered me since 2015 every single time I play and use limit form in 2.5, especially in the cutscenes, because I played the original on Japanese PS2 and Emulator so much I am used to it being blue and want it changed back. It is only proper. Hopefully someone can take the time to fix this color inconsistency someday.
  4. So I've noticed over my several hundred hours of this game that once in a great while when doing a finisher, the camera will not zoom in for the cinematic view, and instead it continues to act normally, allowing you to still control and turn the camera. I would really love a way to disable the "cinematic view" for all finishers, so that the camera never zooms in and I always have full control. Idk if it's possible but I hope some modder figures this out eventually.

  5. Okay so as everybody should, I love all the past Spiderman game OSTs and I think they are ALL better than the Spider-Man PS4 OST. I'm not saying the new OST is bad, just the LEAST good. Ever since this game came out I have so badly wanted to replace the music with the old games' music. I would love to have Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2's Free Roam music to play while Free Roaming in this game. I would love Spider-Man 2's phenomenal combat music to play over the Combat sections in this game. Even Spider-Man 1 the movie game and the TASM games had some good Stealth music that would fit over the Stealth sections in this game. I want as much music as possible from the previous games to be imported into this game, so if anyone can do that or make some kind of DIY tutorial on how to do that it would be amazing.
  6. This is one of the many great things that the stealth in The Amazing Spider-Man games had that this game is sorely missing for some strange reason is the ability to do Stealth Takedowns from any wall or ceiling. Insomniac clearly realized their mistake because they ended up adding this into the Miles Morales' game. So can somebody please take the assets from Miles Morales and apply it to Peter so Peter can do this too? Also Insomniac please add Double Stealth Takedowns too, just like TASM games.

    RANT:

And I DO NOT want to hear any of you people's nonsense about "game balancing" or "it would be too easy and make you too OP" literally GTFO with that BS. If you are one of those people, I heavily disagree with you and believe you are toxic and wrong, and your way of thinking is bad and makes games worse and less fun. I played the heck out of the TASM games and I know from experience that the stealth sections are "balanced" just fine, they are superior, had more variety and options, more stylish animations, and were much more fun and satisfying than Spiderman PS4's stealth sections. I'm not saying Spiderman PS4's stealth is bad, just that it is just lacking in comparison to the TASM games which had literally everything this games does plus more. I don't understand how Insomniac could look at the TASM games and say "Yeah we don't need that, let's just remove and not include these good, useful, satisfying and fun features for no reason". How does a rushed movie tie-in from 2012 have more and better stealth features AND DON'T FORGET ALL THE AWESOME ANIMATIONS than the new next-gen game that had much more care, budget and longer development time? I also DO NOT want to hear any form of hate about the TASM games. Just because they are rushed movie tie-ins does NOT make them bad. You would know how good they are if you actually played them and had an intelligent brain while doing so. Anyway rant over for now...

  7. Another thing I have always wanted since the game came out was a way to extend the distance of that little circle that appears on all of the perch launching points in the environment that indicate where you can zip to by pressing L2+R2 and launch off of. I really hope someone eventually extends this. It would also be really cool if we could extend the length of how far that the game detects buildings and objects, and extending the distance the game will allow us to attach web lines to buildings using R2 Web Swinging and the X button Web Zip so we can Zip and Swing from farther distances. Also allowing us to Web Zip to whatever we want at any distance during the interior stealth sections would be awesome.
  8. We all know you can run up walls and side-to-side but you're not allowed to sprint down walls. Why? Previous Spiderman games had this perfectly fine. There is no reason to have these limits, so can somebody please figure out how to remove this restriction?

  9. One thing I absolutely hate about the web swinging in this game is that you are incapable of doing a full vertical loop-de-loop because spiderman automatically lets go of the web when he gets to a certain height even though you're still holding R2. Please, I hope somebody can someday find a way to unlock this so we can actually do a loop. And I really hope insomniac adds this in the next game...
  10. Enemy Variety Unlocked by GRUmod:

    https://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglight/mods/548

This mod is NOT outdated because it still works, but some people are tricked into thinking it is because IT ONLY WORKS if you HAVE NOT COMPLETED the ending of the main story yet. If your save file's story completion is at 100% the mod doesn't work. I played a new game with this mod and it worked perfectly right up until I beat the game and then it immediately stopped working. So it unfortunately cannot be used in the post-game. This is unfortunate but shouldn't be too much of a problem, because all you have to do is start a new game or new game plus and avoid the ending. Thankfully you can still enjoy this amazing mod while doing all the other main quests and side quests, as long as you just avoid doing the ending. Hopefully someone can fix this someday or make a different version.

  11. (Tutorial Below)

Okay so this means a lot to me and I'm really disappointed to see the lack of support and people talking about this topic, so it seems I need to be the one to take it upon myself to help spread the word about this. I've been seeing a few comments on some mods around the Nexus of people saying things like "Delete this mod because it's broken" and "Nobody download this because it doesn't work" and I'm so tired of it because I don't want all of these amazing mods to die, disappear and be deleted just because so many people are ignorant, lazy and don't seem to realize that downgrading is even a possibility. And the worst part that makes me so sad is seeing NOBODY replying to these comments, informing them of the possibility of downgrading and pointing them in the right direction. So I'm going to leave this post here in the hopes that maybe it will spread awareness of this topic and hopefully help some people experience these amazing mods who would otherwise give up and miss out. Please bear with me, I'm literally just going to copy/paste the exact tutorial I already typed in the comment section of the Noble Team Mk V Armor mod, because I just spent like 5 hours typing all of this and I don't feel like typing a whole new thing just for the sake of rewording it. You'll figure it out from there if you care enough.

"Everybody listen up. I'm here to leave my comment and provide a tutorial on how I got this mod working again. I will tell you all how to get this mod to work so you can enjoy it. I'm very disappointed in seeing the lack of support for this mod, both from the creator and the comment section. Everybody complaining down in these comments about how this mod is "broken" or "outdated" is showing how ignorant and lazy they are, no offense. This is what shows HOW MUCH YOU PEOPLE CARE about this mod. If you don't care very much about the mod, then you are not going to put in the effort to get it to work like I have, you're just going to leave a short complaint in the comments and move on. I, on the other hand, care VERY VERY VERY much about this mod, and refuse to let it die, so I actually took the time to learn how to downgrade the MCC and install an older version of the game that works, AND am taking the time to give all of you a tutorial on how to do it. So here is the tutorial:

IMPORTANT: This only works with the Steam version of the game, sorry it doesn't work for the Xbox Gamepass version or whatever that one is.

    1. Understand that this is going to take some time, like it might take pretty much a whole day/weekend IF you plan on downloading multiple/all of the campaigns/multiplayer maps in the MCC, which you don't have to do. Do not be discouraged by this, it is very simple and easy once you understand what to do, and absolutely worth it. From start to finish this took me from Friday night to Sunday morning to accomplish. One weekend is absolutely worth it to me if it means having and enjoying this mod for the rest of my life. Also understand as well this may require a LOT of HDD/SDD space if you want to have backups or want to have the new version and old version installed at the same time. You guys may not have to do this if you don't want to, but I currently have 4 copies of the game installed across multiple drives just to be safe. I will explain more about this later. You're probably gonna want backups just in case Steam decides it wants to update the game and break all your mods again.

    2. Watch these 2 tutorial videos. This is how I learned how to get older versions of the MCC for mods that are outdated. I will give a text-based summary here of the steps you should take. Just watch and listen, and rewind and re-watch these videos multiple times if you have to, I know I had to many times because this was pretty confusing for me at first. I will also leave a para-phrased step-by-step list here that helps summarize the process he explains in these videos. All credit goes to Stevieroth for these videos, without him I would be lost and very sad.

    3. So now that you've watched all of Stevieroth's tutorials, you should pretty much understand mostly everything, and know what you need to do now. Basically in short, the first thing you have to do is figure out which version of the game you have to download for the mods you want to use. For this particular mod, the last time I personally played the game with this mod working for me was January 8th 2022, so that means we want to download the version of the game that was published last right before that date. If you look in the depots section on Steamdb > click on "MCC - Base Depot -- 976731" > then click on the "manifests" tab, you will see a list of all the different "versions" of the game that have ever been released. As of right now, the last version of the game where this mod worked is the one that says "30 November 2021 -- 1018723109337407870"

    4. Now that you know which version of the "MCC - Base Depot" you need (which is just the Main Menu btw), download that shiz. How do you download that shiz, you may ask? Well that's what Stevieroth's "My Batch File" is for. He explains how to use it in the videos. You need to right click the .bat file and click "edit" or "Open with Notepad" and type in the numbers for the Game ID, Depot and Manifest, as well as your Steam login details. Then save the file and double click it to start the download. This must be done for each game's Campaign and Multiplayer maps that you want individually. That's why this takes like a whole day/weekend if you want them all. Keep in mind you don't have to download them all if you don't want to for whatever reason. If you exclusively want this mod only for Halo Reach, then you only need to download the Base Depot and the Reach Campaign, that's it.

    5. Chill and listen to some music and smoke some doobies or something while waiting. No seriously, since you can only download one thing at a time (as far as I know, I didn't try more than one at a time. It might be possible if you try hard enough), you're gonna have to babysit the downloads, so as soon as one thing finishes you gotta be there to queue up the next download. It shouldn't be too bad though if you make it fun; I had a great and nostalgic time smokin' up my room, blasting all of the Halo OSTs all day and listening to classic early 2000's rock songs such as Headstrong by Trapt or Last Resort by Papa Roach, you know, songs with very similar vibes to Blow Me Away and fitting of the time when Halo 2 was new. I highly recommend it, it was honestly pretty fun.

    6. After downloading the Main Menu and all the Depots for the Campaigns/Multiplayer Maps, now all you need to do is copy/cut and paste each of the game's Depots into the game's corresponding folder within the MCC hub folder from the Base Depot. There you go, congratulations, after putting them all together you now have your complete downgraded version of the MCC. Now you can install your mods to it.

    7. Take the outdated mod and install it to the outdated version of the game. Follow the instructions provided in the description of the mods you want. For this particular mod, all you have to do is replace Reach's Campaign maps with the ones provided by the mod. Very simple and easy.

    8. Profit

If I missed anything or left out an important detail, I'm sorry this was a lot to type. Again Stevieroth's tutorials taught me pretty much everything so if you watch his vids you probably don't even need my guide. If you have any questions or confusions about the tutorial, ask me and I'll reply when I eventually come back to this comment section every once in a while."

  12. Why doesn't it exist? This game came out like 8 years ago and NOBODY has even TALKED about ATTEMPTING a mod that allows manual jumping? I'm sure the ability is still programmed within the engine, all it should take is 2 seconds to change 1 value it should be like flipping a switch to turn it on. Come on, people. Please. Make. It. Happen. Before we all die.

  13. Mod Request - Remove Lines Design On Sephiroth's Coat Flaps

This is where people seem to be putting mod requests, so I'd like to request a mod that removes the unnecessary and annoying lines they added all over Sephiroth's coat texture on this version of his model. They are annoying to me because I want the game to be as consistent with previous works as possible, he never had these lines on his coat on any of his other models before ever. Get rid of that belt, too. Also the new blade's design on the Masamune as well. There are already several mods that improve consistency, such as the Crisis Core Buster Sword, the black 1st Class outfit, the Rick Gomez voice lines replacement, Tifa's original outfit and dolphin tail, Barret's original tattoo, etc. I want Sephiroth to look exactly as he did in Crisis Core/Advent Children, where his coat was just flat black without the new details. If someone could do this I would be immensely grateful.

  14. I've seen a couple mods that remove all HUD but I don't want that, if someone could find a way to do this it would make the game so much more immersive. Maybe leave it for on for bosses, but for regular mobs it's really annoying. This obviously should have been in the options menu by default.
  15. I want to change these 2 things but I cannot figure out how. I'm spending literally hours and hours looking and looking and changing and changing things and not finding what I'm looking for. This is beyond frustrating, I hate this, I'm not compatible with these kinds of things. I just want to have fun but everything about Assembly is frustrating me to no end. Somebody please just help me, just tell me where to go and what to do. I've already changed everything else I want in the campaign like gun damage and accuracy, health and shields, but I want the grenades in Reach to have a larger explosion radius, and I want the enemies, marines and Noble team to shoot more bullets and have better accuracy because the default is genuinely immersion breaking...

  16. If you played the game you should know what I mean. I know nothing about modding but logically there must be some kind of timer or script that can be extended/deleted to stop the automatic sheathing, or maybe by tricking Cal into thinking he's always in a cave. It is beyond annoying to me and hope someone makes a mod for this someday.

  17. Somebody please help me. I don't know where else to ask, I'm just going to leave this here in just in case anyone can help because I'm at my wit's end. I need help finding a mod I KNOW I exists. I KNOW I saw a mod SOMEWHERE that makes it so the Keyboard/Mouse prompts never appear but I cannot find it again. So I just got DMC 5 for PC and have been dying to mod it, so I went through literally every mod on the nexus, all 85 pages, looking at every single mod tracking all the ones I want, and I remember seeing a "Keyboard prompts never appear" mod but at the time I was like "Oh I don't think I'll need that" but boy how very wrong I was. I don't know why I thought that, I wish I could slap my past self, I made a huge mistake not tracking that mod because I do need it but for the life of me I cannot find it again. I've searched everywhere, even going through all 85 pages of mods again and still cannot find it. It's driving me absolutely insane, please... if anyone else knows where it is, please link me to it. I would be so grateful.

  18. I like the exclamation marks but I was forced to install the "exclamation begone" mod because the abilities has an exclamation mark next to it and will not go away no matter what I do. There are no new abilities but the mark is still there. I have hundreds of mods installed and there is no way I can possibly know which one is causing this. This bug did not happen on my previous playthrough, something changed from my last playthrough to my current one to cause this and I have absolutely no clue how to figure out what is causing this. If anyone else knows what's causing it or how to fix this, let me know please. This is beyond frustrating to my OCD.

  19. As with all mod requests I have no idea if this is possible or not but it would be SO GOOD if someone could stop this mf's from walking around aimlessly while you're standing still, ESPECIALLY when trying to take photos. Every time I play the game I really really like to have my party members in all the Lucky Emblem photos I take but my God is it annoying when they turn and start walking out of the frame EVERY time I try to take my pics. I am also a KH2 purist and would like this even more because it would more accurate to KH2 as well. This would be such a gigantic quality of life improvement for me and probably many others.

  20. This is a very small thing that would be a MASSIVE quality of life improvement for me, because I hate it every time Sora automatically makes his keyblade disappear after a few seconds of running, I love his running animation with the keyblade on his shoulder and I'm so tired of having to attack or press guard every 5 seconds to make him keep it out. This would also make it more like KH2 for those purists like me who want everything to be more accurate to KH2. If someone can find and disable that somehow that would be AWESOME.
  21. Okay guys, here's a weird one. In KH2, pressing R1 to lock on locked on to enemies perfectly no matter what direction the camera is facing, it's an easier and faster way of spinning the camera to see without having to move your thumb to the right analog stick. But after playing a lot of KH3, I've noticed that if an enemy is 180° behind the camera, or even 90° to the left or right, or even above or below, as long as they're completely off- screen, pressing R1 will often fail to lock on and I have to manually turn the camera around, then press R1 again and it works. The lock on only likes to lock on to enemies on camera, which is bad. Yet another thing KH2 somehow did better on PS2 technology. This is very annoying for obvious reasons and it would be wonderful if someone could look into this being possible to fix.
  22. So this is really bothering me and I can't figure out what is causing it. I have NO mods that affect Pirate Sora in any way, as far as I know. Sora's hair bangs and the lower part of his shirt are glitched but ONLY when he is standing perfectly idle. ANY movement, or idle animations such as him putting his arms up or the keyblade behind his head cause him to look normal again, but only standing perfectly still causes this glitch. It is tolerable, but still annoying seeing his bangs constantly popping in and out of existence. I don't think it looks like this in any cutscenes so it's not TOO immersion breaking if you don't pay much attention to his face while standing still. I hope that someone can figure this out if anyone else out there also experiences this.

UPDATE: After further "testing" I realized this is happening in all worlds, not just The Caribbean, I never noticed it before because it's not as bad in other worlds, it's only MOST noticeable in The Caribbean. In every world, whenever Sora is standing perfectly still, with no input from the player, his hair will glitch to look slightly different, and not only that I've noticed that it also disables Sora's ability to have 1 foot higher than the other when standing on a sloped surface, if that makes sense. If you're standing on a diagonal surface, Sora will usually bend his knees and feet to logically align with the sloped surface, but this bug breaks that causing 1 of his legs to be floating in the air, acting like he's standing on a flat surface. I don't wanna upload another screenshot but that explanation should make enough sense. Hopefully I can figure out what's causing this eventually but I wanted to post this just in case anyone else out there is experiencing or has already experienced this and may know what it is.

  23. There are 2 awesome mods out there, KH1 color base Sora and DDD color base Sora, and you can trust that I'm going to love using these mods in the future for many many playthroughs for the rest of my life, but these mods would be a lot better if the immersion wasn't broken in the Toybox world because neither of these mods affect Toy Sora. Pirate Sora is fine because only the bandana changes anyway, and Monster Sora is much more tolerable because all he wears is the jacket with no pants or shoes, but Toy Sora is definitely the most immersion breaking one. If someone could eventually do a retexture of Toy Sora to be accurately colored based on both of these mods, that would be AMAZING and vastly improve all future playthroughs with these mods.

  24. Another mod request because it bothers me that the text in Spyro 2 is blue and if it were the same color as the first game's text it would be better. I saw someone else ask for this mod but I figured I'd make another request because it shouldn't hurt to slightly increase the chances of it happening. There are already so many amazing mods I'm very grateful for that fix so many things in the remake, but I'll never stop hoping and checking for more.
