I'm pretty sure it's just built into the game engine that you can't jump while sprinting. And jumping is done with a single, set animation. Once the script extender gets more advanced though, there may be a way to do it. Once they exist, you should be able to use SKSE functions to detect when the sprint key and jump key are both pressed, then play a custom jump/roll animation. I'm almost certain it would be possible in Oblivion with OBSE, so it's just a matter of time before it's possible in Skyrim with SKSE :)

Figured out a solution. Not the best, but it works. You have to add 'modname.bsa' to the end of the list under [Archive] in 'My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini'. That forces it to load the scripts right. http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1345724-important-bsas-and-you/ has a super awesome detailed explanation of everything.

I am having this same problem! I made a mod (Unlimited Bookshelves) that simply replaces a single script. It works perfectly when you put the file in Data/Scripts (as the Nexus version), but it works for some people and doesn't work at all for others (it doesn't work for me) when it is packed in a .bsa (as the workshop version). I am trying everything I can to figure this out!
