  1. Wondering if anyone could possible make something like this? want to have glass floor panels for a house im making.. so that you can see stuff beneath your character.. but i want it to have a certain shine to it.. you know, reflect light, and have kind of a foggy appearance.. its hard to accurately describe it.. but, i basicaly want a floor that looks like it isnt there, unless light is shining on it at the proper angle. its also preferable that its only a Floor item.. no walls or ceilings.

I'm trying to edit the color of the Tesla Projectile.. specifically the file "TeslaMainBeam.NIF" i want to make it a Red bolt instead.. but i cant seem to figure out how to edit the texture at all. im guessing it means i have to somehow edit the NIF, but i really just have no idea. im also going to be changing the color of the Pulse Grenade explosion.. also to red. specifically, though, this is just a request for help about the Tesla one.
  3. well.. i guess this isnt really mod requesting, so much as requesting mod help... should i move my topic to that section?

So, i;ve been trying to make a Tesla Rifle.. scaled down damage, higher clip capacity, etc.. i just love the lightning bolt and the sound of it, and wanted it to be a 2handed rifle, for perks and other reasons.. but i;ve been running into some small issues.. first, the damage is too high.. i turned it down, and found that it didnt change.. then realized an explosion was attached to the effect, which i want to keep and turn into an EMP burst instead.. nothing huge, just a little boost of damage against robots. getting off topic.. right now, im just having one small issue, and thats that im trying to change the Ammo pack on it from a Microfusion Cell into an Electron Charge Pack. its not because its easier to find, or cheaper to buy.. its simply because thats what the Tesla Cannon used. besides, i designed it to eat up ammo at faster than 1/shot, to balance out its relatively easily found ammo. basically, i need help with the following, if anyone is willing: how to add the explosion of a pulse grenade to it, but change the damage and radius to something more reasonable to a semi-automatic weapon... how to alter its 1st person model to have an ECC pack instead of a MFC, and its word model to do the same thing... how to turn down, or turn off, its chain projectile effects... oh, and for the record, i have all the DLC, so if something exists in another DLC that i can use somehow, dont be afraid to share that. and, for megalomaniacal reasons, i dont want to just use someone else's mod..
  5. much obliged. i understand enough about modding to understand these instructions. just never knew where to start.. sad thing is i dont own NV. so.. it seems this is a moot point. lastly.. the mechanist's gloves? is that what NV used? or is that the only corresponding item in FO3?
  6. Yeah, I just had a request for someone to put the Field Hand Outfit into Fallout 3. it can replace another item. it can even have 0 DR, i really don't mind, I just have no idea how to make it myself, and would love my favorite outfit from Fallout New Vegas to be in Fallout 3 as well.
