  1. Same thing happens to me. i saw this Shadow Wall in Jamaica Plains for the first time While Sniping all the ferals from the highway. Second time it happened at the same place while i was looking towards the diner from where the workshop is. one big triangular shadow upwards and one towards the highway , parallel to the ground. i've got some problems with my settlement mods so i thought that was the problem, i did not care much, i'm just testing for a real playthrough. Curiosity came again when i noticed one big shadow covering me, looked around and there it was again, near C.I.T. ruins coming from where the mirelurks are hidden. It comes with or without workshop enabled and now in various places. Any chance of confronting loadorders? Some pics: 01 02 03
  2. Try Dcfi, it shows you the limits of each cell, it's a starting point. Center pole is perfectly angled, placing yourself on some height helps while using the holotape. Result is perfect floor building, as long as you use Place Everywhere, sky is literally the limit. Helper tile can help you with angles, visibly, but place everywhere gives you precision.
  3. How about you Pak your group of mods yourself? here's some info: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Modding_guide_for_KCD I personally opted for a do it for me because mod mergers are too much of a trouble for something so simple as merging folders and solve minor conflicts between XML files. i installed winmerge, have it on my right button menu. Simply copy the PAKs you wanna use, change format to ZIp, extract to folders, merge all once you got the folder structure right by reading the link i put above. when merging do not EVER overwrite files, windows will add numbers to distinguish so keep em in the same merged folder. Once everyting you want is in the same folder structure, go folder by folder and check for xml doubles :). if any exist, select Two at a time, right click winmerge and you'll be able to spot differences (careful with the file you're going to keep, don't leave nothing useful from the other one behind). You have to know before what each file is doing, taking out or adding to the game, this way you'll be able to understand empty lines or overwrites. Once you're done with merging your preferences you may want to create a mod.manifest ( copy it from one of your used mods, add a new line with every add to keep track and save it). Time to select all the forders created in the merge and ZIP 'em, again when in doubt the link is there to help. now .PAK it, rename to ZZZ_Merged and launch the game. Have fun.
  4. In my opinion is lacking a few things i'll describe: So i got generous and cautiously became premium for 3 months, must be some hidden functions for prems, i thought. Nope, Wrong.. With the new interface i can see in the search page that mods has been updated since i downloaded it.. What about all the others i tracked maybe because i want to follow their development, the ones i endorsed, the ones i follow the author? Shouldn't there be indicators on my search results list for all those variants, so i can better choose and analyze progress of mods? Please, get other shiny tags so i can lazyly remember something after spending countless hours searching mods and solutions on your great site. Exagerating maybe even my load order with links to posts, patches, updates as a start page.. keep up the great work but please do more that just a graphic restyle. More will be added, if i get my two braincells to cooperate.
  5. Just to get it a little more difficult. What if that esp depends on some patch no longer in use with SE? i found miself trying a mod supposedly with no dependecies and got an error in LOOT asking for the ULE patch from oldrim. When i try and do something in SSEEdit it gives me an error requiring the patch. I saw somewhere people copying ine of their DLC's renaming and loading them in SSEEdit as a way to surpass a similar error. would this work for me? The mod Is called Quest categorization in Oldrim. Still waiting for an answer from the mod's author, he did go and check messages and answered someone with a similar question to mine but ignored me. Think that would be a good improvement to SE players who just can't resist accepting every job people have to give them :)
