I realize that dogmeat is a dog, but I would really like to see him covered in a power armor similar looking to Cheetor from one of the transformers cartoons: http://www.tfkenkon.com/bw/chara/chee00.jpg http://www.secondtruth.com/bwtf/4char6.jpg http://www.toyarchive.com/STAForSale/NEW20...torTrans21a.jpg I realize that it's based on a cheetah and I would never want an armor that's yellow and spotted but the general form is cool. If the thing had a black/grey color scheme with glowing gold eyes I think that would be pretty menacing compared to his normal form.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone was working on a power armor mod for Fawkes - frankly seeing him annoys the hell out of me, especially when the rest of my npcs are in power armor (except dogmeat and RL-3 of course).   3. When I originally entered Rivet City the only real problem I had was a drop in framerate while walking to the bridge. After getting into Rivet City, I installed some mods including the updated version of the unofficial patch and the game kept crashing when I tried to exit the market place, even crashing once when I decided to go into another area of the ship. I lowered the graphic settings and I was able to enter the other areas of the ship with no problem but to enter and exit Rivet City, I have to use the "coc" command. I have also experience sudden game crashes when playing for about half-an-hour. It might be the unofficial patch and I'll delete it if it is. -Update- I can confirm that the latest unofficial patch is the one that was giving me the CTD's when entering and exiting Rivet City - I hope that whoever does these patches can fix this problem in the next version.
  4. Hi, I recently tried to enter rivet city and the game crashed on me. I had the same problem when I tried to enter Pinkerton's office and when I tried to enter the area through the anacostia station. I have fast traveled to the area successfully and using console commands I have been able to enter the city but I won't be able to do the same thing when I get to a particular point of the main camapign (I started a new game). Here's a list of my load order - can anyone tell me what would cause this?   5. Thanks for replying but I'm not really familiar with the GECK other than putting the pieces together. As for the AI package - I don't know how to work with it and deleting the ones he already has still has him appear in front of you when you enter the house. Thanks anyway.
  6. Hello, I'm working on a mod for the megaton house and I've decided to move Wadsworth into a corner so that he would be out of the way unless I needed him. Unfortunately, despite placing collision fields around him, he always appears in front of you when you walk in the door. I've moved the x-marker and this metal plate that is underneath him, but nothing seems to affect him. I have also tried moving that electronic thing-a-ma-jig but it doesn't seem to matter. Is there anything I can do to move him to that point and him him stay there so that he doesn't move around? Thanks.

  8. Well, my problem is that whenever I get past the end narrative, the game switches to the main menu and crashes. (Yes, I did get the notice that broken steel is activated and that the level cap is raised to 30 although I haven't tested whether it has or not). This is actually an improvement because I was having some other problems that I solved by switching the load order but this particular problem is preventing me from continuing. I have one more mod that makes most of the good npcs immortal but I've tried deactivating it and it didn't have any effect. I also had the unofficial patch but I uninstalled it when I read that it may cause problems and a problem with the Broken Steel DLC which I solved by moving it into the main directory. Thanks to anyone who can figure this out.
  9. Yes, I have tried ResetQuest in console - I mentioned earlier that the quest resets - the problem is that I can't start it again. Moira doesn't offer the quest again and it's entry is remove from the pip-boy.
  10. The auto-save doesn't work and neither does doing another quest. Going to a different area doesn't work. I realized I had a problem when I was exploring the BethesdaWorks area and found three moles. When I killed them and nothing happened, I figured that it might just be the area so I went to the Tepid Sewers and nothing changed. I still killed them, I resurrected and killed them, and nothing happened. I decided to go exploring in the meantime and wound up in Farragaut Station with more moles and they didn't work towards the count either. In the meantime I had finished Agath's quest and the Trouble in Big Town quest so I doubt that the problem will just fix itself. My last option is either to just forget it and move on - especially since it doesn't seem to count towards the ending, but I like to complete everything and was hoping that there was a way to move the quest past this point. I looked in the GECK, I found what looks like to be commands for this but I have no idea how to implement them. As for restarting the quest - I can't go to an earlier save because I had to delete them from that time frame to make hard drive space and the console commands restart the quest but don't reset it - Moira talks to me but doesn't suggest I help her with anything. Thanks for trying anyway.

I had a similiar problem with this quest the first time I played it - I couldn't finish the library thing but then I had played the quest straight through and didn't have a 40 hour time difference. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for replying but I already found those commands and I have used them in the console - here's my problem: 1) completequest finishes the objective and the quest but I don't get the benefits from doing the quest (I know you can add the items and perks but it does have some impact when you finish this quest i.e. a random encounter). 2) resetquest remove the quest from the pip-boy and I guess it resets everything except that Moira doesn't react to me presence anymore except with the basic responses. 3) sqt - I haven't used this one because the problem isn't finding the objectives, I know where the molerats are - my problem is that when I hit them with the repellent stick, they die and that's it - no journal updates. I can lie but I want to do the whole thing the right way. I would restart the quest except that I started it at the beginning of the game and I am now about 40 hours in. I don't remember which save I started the quest in, and even if I did, the thought of restarting... not a good one. I thought about somehow moving the quest along to show completed objectives but no one seems to have figure it out. Does anyone know how to do that?
  13. Can anyone please help me? Does anyone know how the quest stages work and how to manipulate them? Or how to completely reset a quest so that the quest giver gives the quest again?
  14. I have killed both normal and resurrected molerats - nothing has changed in the count one way or the other.
  15. I have the latest patch (1.4 I think) and both DLC's. My PC is level 20. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem without lying to Moira?
  16. Ok, so I'm up to the point where I have to test the repellent on the mole-rats only when I whack them with the stick, nothing happens... well, they die, but they don't seem to count. I've killed about 15 with the damn thing, even resurrecting them and whacking them again and nothing has changed. My character is level 20 and I've done the first three parts of the guide including the optional objectives - can anyone help me finish this part? Thanks.
