What did you mean by this? Telling someone to be quiet about something causing a problem kinda indicates the desire to hide something.... Nothing like that ! just an error or a neglect any mods who changes a character must have these folders created by CTRL+F4 in CK ! bye

Hi all ! I am sorry for you but saves can be corrupted by some mods! What explains some characters with the black face and unfortunately irremediable except with a previous save before the installation of those. See also the load order who can solve this problem If you find a mod who changes characters of skyrim or extension without directories according be quiet! ...\actors\caracters\facegendata\Facetint\skyrim.esm and/or dlc.esm (for textures) and / or ...\actors\caracters\facegendata\Facegeom\skyrim.esm and/or dlc.esm (for meshes) generally a mod which changes this type of character is accompanied with these 2 directories! or of an archive (bsa) which have them ChochoFr Sorry ! for my english i hope you understand ! :tongue:

@sibastion Have you tried to go out and to come back from the cell or your character is, for me "setnpcweight" was only an interim solution!

Im going to try that next, but I did try and convert it into an ESM file.. just guess I didn't finish and press the F4 after I converted to the ESM file xD @Moosepickles86 read that it work perfectly for me http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/626710-how-to-fix-the-grey-face-npc-issue-in-esm-files/ You must also start from a save that has never have your mod enabled. @ViolentNed I have already read your topic and I thank you for it. It works perfectly with the new characters i've create but when I edit a character already create then I have "black head!". I think more now at a problem of' "ArchiveInvalidation", I had a good time changing hair, colour of eyes, frekles and grime of "Adrianne" in whithrun. Result: hair OK, colour eyes NOK, frekles NOK, grime NOK, all that modify facetint NOK Thank you for your answer, I always search! When I find a solution for this problem I'll post it, but if somebody finds before me I'm taker! bye! Sorry for my english !

Hi everyone ! I'm losing my mind with the black heads when I try to change a character of skyrim.( 00xxxxxx one) :wallbash: I 've tried a multitude of tips to by-pass this problem but nothing works. No modification faces, attributes ,or something's else but I just want to add AI packages, so that they could eat, drink, sleep go for a walk and then return to house, living all in all. (for the moment housescarl's only.) If somebody have solution I'll take, but please no "setnpcweight xxx", if i can it will be a favorite command Unless the developers of this genius game (and all they made before :thumbsup: ( i'm fan)) place that at final command. @ SeanTwig Found on bethesda forum ! "Look for the SkyrimEditor.ini in your skyrim folders. under the option [General] just add the following line: sLanguage=GERMAN (or your specific language version ... you can copy this line from your skyrim.ini or skyrim_default.ini). that should eliminate the localization-lookup errors. it worked for me. hope that helps" bye
