  1. Great work on the Journal. I absolutely love it!! Some things to think of though... Generally, an explanation of the journal. How you acquired it after being turned out in the wild. Might you want to include some sort of signature at the bottom of the journal? Like a "sincerely vampire clan" or some such thing that is much cooler than what I put down? Also, what is the Lore explanation for getting the journal? Will it be mailed to you after your first vampiric kill or something?
  2. I like the idea of the hearts. I also think it is awesome how you used what looks like the cannibalism animation for harvesting. Would it be a good idea to get dragon hearts? That heal the same as the healthy heart with no chance of finding a damaged heart. That might make a reason to kill dragons in the game
  3. Wow on all the progress made. Have you made progress on glare? How does glare increase? Is it based on a percent of former glare, like risen glare is 125% of the fledgling glare? If so, you could have compounding at progenitor. Anyway, I am really happy that people are putting so much work into this mod. It will be epic because of the teamwork of MofoMojo and Jakisthe, and the forum P.S. MM, do you have a youtube channel where all the videos you have uploaded are? Be really cool to have everything in one place. Nevermind Clicked on the video and found your username/channel thing.
  4. Wow. I really look forward to seeing a completed mod of this! I would volunteer to help but I am complete rubbish at modding. P.S. Are you going to create a thread in the Mod Talk section? It seems this has evolved beyond a request. Anyway, Super Cool!
  5. That. Is.So. Epic! I really like the way you have implemented sunlight and garlic. The slow fall seems a tad slow to fall though.
  6. I was watching the video again, and I noticed 26 seconds in that you seemed to not be able to go into the Hall of the dead. And afterwards you went over it with a spell. Was that a realization of an aversion to holy stuff? If so, Sweet! Edit: The first film, not the Darken one.
  7. just a brief question. How does satiation work with the vampire ranks currently? Does it work on a set level or do you become unsatisfied more quickly at one level or the other? Also, how much must you drink to become satiated? A whole person? Maybe there should be, under the feed button, choices for how much of a person you want to drink. But Maybe only when the victim are sleeping, otherwise someone would be able to auto one shot enemies from sneak attacks, which would not be good for balance.
  8. Oh, I thought that it was all animations. This is a great mod so far. And Wow, 85% done? Great! Got To go
  9. @MM Wow, that is awesome. Are we ever going to create animations for feeding? I have no modding knowledge or I would volunteer. I have seen custom animations for other mods, so I wonder how difficult they are to program? Well, good job! I get a bit boggled trying to remember all planned features. What exactly is left on your list? If it is not too much trouble to ask. EDIT: Nvm bout the animations. just got done looking at this and it seems like animations are not supported by the CK
  10. @thatperson I think the mod "unholy darkness" is for oblivion rather than skyrim. The mod being constructed by MofoMojo and Jakisthe takes some inspiration from that mod but is rather different.
  11. Hey, is the new vampire going to be marked "undead"? Because if so, a removal of the restoration tree perks would be very beneficial. My character in skyrim is a normal vampire and with the 70 restoration perk "necromage" I am way powerful. Necromage makes all spells 25%ish more effective on undead. And if you are a vampire you count. So all of my enchantments do more. As an example, I have a robe that grants 125% magika regeneration but it actually does 154% with necromage same with other effects such as restoration spells. Just wondered if you guys had noticed this. Otherwise: YAY for play-testing (eventually), i just got skyrim for the PC yesterday so I can actually help with testing the alpha/beta/whatever.
  12. @ MM Thats Awesome! I totally agree with the draw backs as they are only logical. Maybe there could be a spell that calmed people when you did this at sire. It might resemple Dracula forcing his will on another or whatever. Anyway, good work!
  13. I agree with phil on the sneaking/feed. If there is anyway to do it, it would be awesome.
  14. @Leeira I agree with you about vampires being altered biologically. My idea stems from past discussion of vampires needing to rest on soil from their homeland, with this related to the ability to cross water. I was thinking this could be a very inelegant solution. Better ideas are needed for it. Is the unable to cross water thing still being thought of? It seems like it would be insanely difficult to program. The idea of people carrying garlic is really cool!
  15. We could make a long and difficult quest for deranking. It could be sort of like the cure quest. Also, there could be variable quests with increasing difficulty the farther down the vampire line you wish to go. The obvious hardest would be the Cure quest with decreasing difficulty above. Also, with regards to coffins, do you think it would be possible for people to replace their house bed with one? I have seen people do some crazy things with houses and this could be the way to get homeland/coffin dust. I don't know if walking on water was still being discussed or not but having your coffin in your house seems to make sense. Gotta go
  16. Just want to say, I admire you guys' project greatly. The only reason I made an account on the forums was for this topic. Anywho I have been reading this topic with great interest . I was thinking, might it be a good idea to combine to KOS settings? Maybe the KOS could apply to the different vampire levels at different rates such as: At Fledgling KOS could apply when 98% starved Risen: 90-80% starvation Master: 75% starvation Progenitor : 60% starvation Sire: 40% starvation Just a thought. I can not think of a way of demoting though, except maybe if you demoted based on how long you were in the KOS range. The reasoning could be that you devolved to avoid detection.
