Every now and again I hear about some ground breaking technology that totally changes the way things can be done. Like an AI assisted retexture tool that makes all existing assets 4k and allows stupidly easily editing of assets while you fly around the game space as a camera. I wouldnt even know where to look to find news and stuff on new developments and what the new thing is that can change everything for the better. Does anyone else know where to find that kind of stuff? Not just new tools and stuff, but what new mods are coming out with that breakthrough tech and so for. I have always loved morrowind and have been so disappointed by mods that would have made the game so much better but fell out of favor and are hopelessly out of date to ever be used. I have an ideal image in my mind of 'what if morrowind was real' and trying so hard to mod that out. Having that sense of realism like you are actually in a living world that is changing and doesnt rely on you to do anything. A more genuine feeling of wealth and achievement because you werent just handed a good outcome, you had to go out and figure it out for yourself. I mean geeze, just the economy having so much money for you to gain, but virtually nothing to spend it on once you get going is really depressing. Lately I have just been letting the years go by and not pay attention to anything to just see how things turn out. It would be nice to know when its a good time to be excited again.

Like i said already, you go ahead and implement a mob that replaces all invisibility effects in the game with 100% chameleon. Dont come in here telling me to ignore how the game works. "you should worry about being caught after you have already been caught" If you people cant understand how insulting and disrespectful you are, then its a you problem... I have been coming on these sites on and off for the better part of ten years, and every single time I do its the same garbage with new names... One time I had a huge post layed out, it was a modding project to get just the right feel for what I was doing and trying to share with other people. Instead of other people contributing to what I was doing, I got my thread deleted because someone didnt like my objectivity. I said 'this face replacer mod is horrible for breaking the immersion of the world.' It was a 4k copy paste of real faces slapped onto vanilla graphics. I shouldnt need to explain to anyone why that doesnt work. After a heated argument with a child that wouldnt leave my thread alone, the whole thing not only gets locked, but all the wall of text and everything I was trying to do was deleted... I complained to the moderator that did it, saying he had no right to destroy my work. And all his answer was, 'its not worth having, its just a nuisance' essentially laying it down flat. f*#@ you, your creativity doesnt f*#@ing matter... So if anyone here wants to sit here and judge me 'your response is uncalled for' then either have something that matters to you stolen from you, or apologize for half a decade of stirred s#*! treatment... I just come in here wanting the smallest amount of help with the smallest of issues. But what I get is the same snide garbage 'no one cares what you want, were going to tell you what you should want' god damn i wish i could be a vicious busybody horning in on people and get admins on my side...

You're right that the two are totally different effects, but your response was uncalled for. Consider this, did he offer a solution to converting the shadow birthsign to give you 100% chameleon? Or any of the enchantments? or the legendary 'diamond gives invisibility' thing? Is he going to lift a finger to actually cause any of that to happen? No? Then its not helpful... So instead of taking what would be the most sensible birthsign early on and use it to great effect. I should just use command prompt to make money appear out of the sky and make an enchanted ring that gives me 100% chameleon..... Can you see how its not helpful? "bizarre outrage" I mean s#*!, I used to rage at my screen when I would go onto Yahoo answers when it wouldnt allow me to actually respond to people. I would ask a simple question and rather then people actually answering the damn question, they instead tell me what I should want, rather then helping me get what I want... Something that I have come to realize is that no one gives a s#*! about anything in this community, I wish you luck, but dont expect a single person to actually contribute anything.

I have a totally fresh install, on a new playthrough, and all Tamriel Rebuilt assets are doubled. I tried the wrye mash 'repair all' option on saved files, but that doesnt do anything. I dont understand how its a problem on my end, when I just install the mod like normal, but it screws up somehow. If the files arent loading right, isnt that the modders fault? Did they not make the right registry? I just dragged and dropped into the files folder, how the hell can you not 'drag and drop' right? Should I sue my hard drive manufacturer for doubling files? I manually entered the registry into the .INI file like I was supposed to. So I just dont get it. How does copy/paste screw up?

Is there a mod, or something I can do to make it so invisibility effects dont end instantly when you touch something? I mean, what is the point of being invisible if you appear the moment you lift something off a table? One of the birth signs allows you to turn invisible once a day. So what? You dont need to sneak past anyone, this isnt Skyrim where people care if you enter a room. The moment where things actually matter in detection is the moment you do something, and in that moment, poof! there you are... Thats purpose defeating...

I got sick of the shitty design of vivec, so I got the redesign vivec mod. https://mw.modhistory.com/download-87-14633 Turns out the old canton textures are still there as a shell over the canton until you step through the invisible wall and see what it should look like now. Im going to try and change the load order, see if that might fix it, but if someone can help me figure this out I would appreciate it. Im having a problem when i enter buildings that the door is over the 3rd person camera, and when I walk around the decorative canvases on the walls clips over the camera as well. It isnt game breaking but it is really annoying when walking around.
