  1. Ha, thanks! I had this problem too and have looked all over for something as simple as... ctrl + delete.... >.<
  2. Hi, I've just unleashed my mod on an un-suspecting friend for him to test, and it caused a crash to desktop. After some looking I found it was because he didn't have Dawnguard enabled. Which would make sense, except that I did not use Dawnguard as a masterfile at any point while creating my mod (has no Dawnguard content.) The files I have selected as masters are Skyrim, and Hearthfire. Does any body have a clue what would make this mod insist that it needs Dawnguard, and how I might convince it to change it's mind? I'd like to share it eventually, and don't want all the DLCs required. Thanks! Emily
  3. I am afraid I'd not know where to start with that, but I think it's a really cool idea. I use youtube a lot to find creation kit tutorials. One of the better ones I've found is Darkfox127. I found a tutorial by him about creating playable races, hopefully you'll find some things in there, and on youtube in general that help. Good luck!
  4. Just wanted to say thanks to those who had ideas, as for some reason, the other cell I moved my house into will let me adjust the lighting, etc. now. I did get TES5Edit so I can clean this up when it's done. Thanks, Emily
  5. Yeah I've tried that too. I can make a new cell and copy my house into it but as soon as I go out of the initial edit of it that's it. I can do it that way I guess, but as many times as it might take to get my lighting the way I want it, etc, I'll probably end up with one very dirty mod. Thankfully it's not for release but its a really strange problem. I'll have to find a way to clean it after I'm done I guess. Thanks for your suggestions, I wonder if this is a common issue...
  6. Hi, oddly enough I can go into other interior cells and change things. I do have the correct plug-in active, so I'm not sure what is up. I've even tried other custom cells with the same results so it is something that happens every time I create a cell at the moment. Not sure what is causing it. :-/
  7. Hi, I'm in the process of making a player home (I usually just do them for myself) so I'm not up to anything particularly impressive at the moment... But, I've run into a problem I've never noticed before. When I create a custom cell for an interior I can set all the basic info. Ownership, Name, Lighting presets, etc. For some reason when I go back to change something in the cell info later (lighting in this case) everything that I could potentially change is grayed out. The apply button is not, but the Ok button is grayed out (and does nothing). I realize its obviously something I've done, or am doing, or didn't do. I did try to search for this topic but didn't find anything that answered what this is and how to fix it. I'd be grateful if anybody has any ideas, because I've accidentally made my interior cell way too bright and want fix the lighting but can't. Thanks! Emily
