  1. Also make sure to install everything correctly and organize your mods with BOSS. It'd be even better to clean for dirty edits with TES5Edit, too.
  2. Good specs for enjoying Skyrim to its fullest, most hi-res state are: An i7 Intel CPU, or a great AMD (I'm not too familiar with their processors)8GB or more of DDR3 RAMAn Nvidia Graphics card, preferably built with Haswell architecture as opposed to Kepler. AMD can be pretty good. NEVER get tricked into standalone Intel HD Graphics. Those graphics are integrated into the CPU, and a piece of s#*!. They come standard on most i7's, but make sure to get a computer that has another graphics card as well. Here's a good comparison list.1-6GB of VRAM, personally I'd recommend about 2 or above.A 1600x900 display or greater. The higher the numbers, the greater the HD resolution (usually). I've unfortunately been tricked into a 1366x768. It's not bad, but it's not great either. It's certainly manageable, but I'd rather have my old 1600x900 back.I don't know much about motherboards and SSDs, unfortunately, but you should be well-off with that Alienware.
  3. Your graphics card most likely uses Optimus, so it defaults to a certain graphics card while doing certain tasks to avoid too much battery consumption. Plug in your computer and play Skyrim, or change the default graphics card to your Nvidia, and you should be able to run Skyrim on High or maybe even Ultra, with as many mods as you'd like.
  4. I've been working a bit on a house mod, and am having some strange texture issues. When I add a static object (specifically stone buildings) they come out with some invisible textures. In-game, however, they appear to be fine. It is not due to having to load the entire cell with F5, as I've tried it, and certain parts of the placed objects' textures are still there. Anybody know a fix? :s
  5. Alright, I figured out the problem... For some reason the CK was saving the files to some remote folder location, but I've got that fixed now. Thanks anyway! :D
  6. I've tried and I've tried, but I can't get the .esp files to actually show up. I edited permissions so I could basically see the Windows root directory, but I can't see theses .esp files no matter what I do. Any ideas?
