  1. Google is your friend. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615805-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/61061750
  2. Just saying, next time, don't edit out your problem, leave it and post the solution so that others with the same problem will be able to find a fix instead of starting another thread.
  3. That's a lot of gems. As for the issue itself, I think it may be because you have too many entities in one area, as you said spreading the gems out fixes the problem.
  4. Using Steam's in-game screenshot manager may be your best bet.
  5. Just copy the steam_api.dll from another game, if you don't have any other games on Steam, then....
  6. Skyrim at it's heart is still a x86 application. It will only utilize 4 GB of any avaliable RAM, even if Windows is x64. Now, I'm not sure whether the same limit applies to VRAM or not, but judging from various threads on Tom's Hardware about the matter, it seems the max VRAM avaliable to a 32-bit process is ~3-3.6 GB. It would seem to me that although the Titan looks like a fantastic card, the extra RAM is of no use to Skyrim for the simple fact that Skyrim's engine does not take advantage of that extra RAM.
  7. I've created a Lydia as a separate NPC in NPC Editor, and the Lydia copy works fine, however, the real one still has the missing Nord head problem. I tried editing the ESS, but I couldn't find Lydia's entry. If anyone knows how to intepret the hex codes, any help would be appreciated.
  8. For a moderator, you sure don't read the opening posts often, do you. Not once does the person say that he needs to "put out more FPS", and the person obviously is not try to "get more graphics detail" because Skyrim runs fine with FRAPS, and FRAPS doesn't change your detail levels at all. I don't like that there's just a link to some random forum run by you in your signature also. Oh, and by the way, it's Logitech, not Logitec. @Belial666 Skyrim doesn't have on-the-fly quality switching, and FRAPS doesn't actually change graphics quality because it doesn't matter to FRAPS, which will have the same load no matter what. The reason is bercause FRAPS works by taking a certain amount of screenshots per second (60 if frame-locked to 60 FPS) so any additional graphical detail rendered in Skyrim does not actually affect the video, 1920x1080 will still be 1920x1080 for example.
  9. In fact, even without the ESP, Lydia's dialogue works, but the mouth animations still don't work.
  10. As long as the monitor isn't plugged into the motherboard, you can safely disable Intel HD 3000 without a problem. It's not necessary to the computer.
  11. Well, the objects aren't subject to physics or graphic rendering until they're enabled, so any load on the GPU is gone, but as for load from being loaded into the memory, I'm not sure if disabled objects are stored on the HDD or preloaded into the RAM. Either way, it still taxes your PC, but not nearly as much as when they are enabled.
  12. If you can find skyrim.esm, then you have the path. It's the long address at the top of Windows Explorer.
  13. Hi, For some reason, I'm having a problem with Lydia's head properly rendering after using a combination of NPC-editing ESPs and other console commands. This bug only occurs when Lydia is set to Nord (which she should be), but for some reason, my save always loads her as a Breton. I have to manually type "setrace nord" in the console, and that's when the head disappears. Oddly enough, the eyes remain and float in midair. I have tried using enable, disable, markfordelete, resurrect, player.placeatme, and recycleactor (I think this is the command responsible) but to no avail. The glitch is only present on this save, other saves' (different characters, not my main) Lydias work fine, and even with all plugins disabled, the bug persists. This is also the only save where the custom ESP Lydia's mouth doesn't move, even though dialogue works. The ESP works fine on other saves. Any help would be appreciated, the save is located here: http://db.tt/2XVqHKGt
