  1. The poster below is absolutely right. 8 GB Ram with a 32bit OS is an absolute waste of ram and you should mail it to me. 32 bit OS limits the memory your system can use to 4GB not even counting the 1 GB of memory that your OS is currently taking. So, suffice it to say, your computer is only utilising 3 GBs of memory at any given moment. As for your issues in crashing, I have been having the same problems with my Skyrim and I turned off all the mods. All I was using was HD Textures and SkyUI with SKSE. Crashes were every 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I turned off HD Textures and Sky UI and ran Skyrim through its original launcher and the game runs fine, smooth, no crashes, no skips, no nothing. There's something up with the HD Textures in this new patch I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. I can't imagine that there is a load order issue when using SkyUI and HD Textures...
  2. I have nothing to say other than that ROAYLLY SUCKS... wow. I hope you find a fix soon :S
  3. I'm using the newest version of CCC and I'm using an ATI Radeon HD 5770 OC 1GB DDR5. I get random missing textures and WAY TOO MANY fing CTDs. But not any graphical bugs like this. Wish I had more information to give you. Although conflicting AA properties (IE the AA settings in CCC and the AA settings in Skyrim) could be conflicting, which is what it looks like to me.
  4. I have asked this question already, and no one seems to want to answer me. I have Steam, and the update automatically hit my game. How do I unsubscribe from it when I have Steam? I'd also like to know the answer to this as to avoid future occurrences. Also, as I previously said, I don't really want to try a vanilla install and lose all my characters etc D: so NO ONE has any ideas for me ? :( </3 D':
  5. Basically, if you're TESV or SKSE is anything like mine... then your game is FREQUENTLY crashing to desktop... If I'm LUCKY I'll get 30 minutes of non-crashing gameplay. Standard? Crashing every 2 minutes, sometimes instantly after loading... I got to the point where I can't even return to whiterun to talk to the Jarl... I fear as though something between SKSE, TESV, or maybe a bit of both, has rendered this version HIGHLY unstable. The only mods I'm running are HD Textures and SkyUI through SKSE. That's it, that's all. I validated through Steam, nothing changes... Can anyone tell me how to revert back to a previous version of skyrim so that I don't have to do a reinstall and lose all of my saves and progress..? Or does anyone have any suggestions as to how to solve my problems D:? SO SAD :(
  6. So seeing as how I'm in complete agreement (Either SKSE or TESV is causing RIDICULOUS CTDs...) How do I revert Skyrim back to the last stable version with SKSE so that I can continue playing..? Sorry, I'm totally new with SKSE and reverting and unstable games etc D:
  7. BAHAHAHAHA quote of the year!
  8. It's definitely NOT my graphics card. It never comes anywhere CLOSE to overheating and I play every game on Ultra (or higher -.O) and never does it go above like 55 Celcius. Anyhow, I've noticed that there are often missing textures and apparently I'm using some kind of SKSE UI? I didn't even realize I had this? Is this standard through Steam..? maybe I should update the UI? Is there anything to fix missing textures? Maybe I have corrupted data files? I REALLY WANT SKYRIM TO STOP CRASHING :'(
  9. I'm not using ANY mods at all. Just the original skyrim install from Steam. It's an official copy bought through steam and DL'd through steam. I'm not running SKSE or Script Dragon. I just want Skyrim to work D: I really wish I could answer this for you and for myself, chief. Alas, I'm Skyrim less and beginning to feel the withdrawal symptoms kicking in D:

  11. Hello everyone, I just did a fresh install and update of Skyrim and my game crashes very VERY frequently to the desktop. I'd say anywhere between every 60 seconds to 4-5 minutes. I somehow managed to get through Helgen and now before I can do anything significant, I crash before even being able to explore any towns, caves, mines, dungeons, castles, etc. I was wondering if anyone had any idea? I let Skyrim auto detect settings and it set everything to ultra high. High Shadows is a common theme among games today that causes frequent crashes and bugs so I turned it down to high, medium, low, etc to no avail. I'm running windows XP with an NVidia Sapphire HD 5770 OC 1GB DDR5. 4GB Kingston Ram. Please help D: I'd like to make any sort of progress in the game >.<
