  1. "Well t-"

"I believe I'm the one deciding this, my friend, not you. - interrupted Ivan as he got up from his chair and turned towards Rhaine. - I am nobody's 'minion'. That's just an act me and him put up when attacked my bandits and the like while traveling; it's turned into a tick over time...So you say you can ressurect me, eh? - he sits back down. - I'm willing to try that, but I doubt it will work. Been dead for o'er a decade, and I don't want to leave this earthly realm just yet. Kyran needs someone to guard 'em."

"No I don't." - said the elf with a slight chuckle.

"Shut up." - replied the undead with a lighthearted tone, then turned to Rhaine again. - " Are you sure this hocus-pocus would work?"

  2. Kyran sighed heavily and stood up from the bed and looked Rhaine straight in the eyes. The elf tried as hard as he could to keep a calm and collective composure. "This could.ve gone better..." - he muttered to himself.

"Rhaine, listen, I've been trying to tell you and the group about all this since I met you on that ship, but every time I begin to speak up, something always interrupts me, and at other times I worry about causing mass panic in the group. - he takes a deep breath. - Yes, you're right, I have studied in the arts of necromancy. But, Ivan here... - the skeleton makes a small sacastic wave. - Is my minion. He's my closest friend, who had the unfortunate fate of being the victim of a different necromancer. I assure you, Ivan and I are by no means evil or wish to cause you, the group, or anyone innocent any harm at all..."

Never in his life, has Kyran ever been this frightened for his life.

  3. "Sounds like a fun place to be." - said the elf with a slight smirk as he finnished off his remaining ale. - "Ugh, I think I'll go rent a room. It's been a long day, and I'm tired..."

Kyran got up from his chair, grabbed the leather bag, containing the remains of his undead companion, and went to speak with the inkeeper about a room. The inn had a quiet a calm atmosphere at this hour, save for that small fight that just happened. The dimly lit common area even looked very calming. Strange how the small things can greatly improve to an otherwise seedy looking place such as this. "Hopefully it will stay that way" - thought the elf. His mind was occupied with thoughts on what he would do at the fair tomorow., as he was climbing up the stairs to his room.

"Y'know...someone ought to invent a recipe that combines ale and...lemons, and...bacon." - said Kyran, in an unusual tone, to nobody in particular as he traversed the establishment he was in.

The elf reached his rented room, and opened the door. The room was nothing to look at; just the usual lower class furniture. Currently the only light in the room was the faint moonlight coming from the slightly dusty window, next to the bed. The necromancer lit a small candle that was on a table.

Kyran walked over to the bed and sat on it. He also placed the leather sack infront of him, on the floor, and opened it up.

"It should be safe now, Ivan"

" About time. Been stuck in there for weeks...."

The bones that were in the bag began to connect each other, slowly forming a full skeleton. Ivan then streched his arms and legs and took a few paces around the small room, before sitting on an old wooden chair.

"The sooner you tell them everything, the better." - said Ivan.

"I know, I know. It's just that...I don't think Lady Rhaine will like the idea of having a necromancer and an undead skeleton on thier party. And besides we-"

Kyran's sentence was cut short by a middle aged man opening the door to the room and looking inside.

"Oh, I'm sorry, i thoguht this room wasn't taken. Sorry for bothe-" - he noticed the moving skeleton, sitting on a chair, and a black robed figure sitting on the bed. The man let out a scream of fear as he ran down the stairs and right out of the inn.

"Can't wait to see how this turns out..." - said the elf in a sarcastic tone.

  4. Kyran slowly opened the creaking front door to the inn. With his usual leather bag over his shoulder, he walks towards the barkeep and orders a mug of ale. The elf then sits down at the table where Rhaine is present. The barkeep arrives with his ale and elf takes a quick sip. Kyran had obvious look of extreme exaustion.

"Y'know, I've never actualy been at a fair. I didn't travel much and a fair never came to my town. What is there to do there? Sounds like an enjoyable place." - he says as he drinks more from his mug.

  5. Kyran's chest and head jerked as he coughed out seawater and grasped a breath of air. He slowly sat up, his head pounding. With his barely open eyes he looked around to see his new companions, including Seraphine, who had saved his life. He flashed a very weak, but noticable smile.

"Thanks guys...I.... I think I need a nap now..." - he said, still smiling, with a tone and a look on his face that would otherwise be mistaken for that of someone who's been drinking heavily. He then slowly fainted from exaustion.

  6. Kyran was still unconscious as he and his saviour were being pulled up on the ship. His lungs were quite full of saltwater. He was alive, but only for now.

"That doofus' been gone for a while now. Where the hell is he?! I am SO going to kill him in his sleep..." - Ivan said to himself while hearing the commotion outside.

  7. After about half an hour of traversing the wilderness, Stewie finally reached the afforementioned town. He dismounted his horse, left it at the local stables and made haste to the cemetary. Upon arriving at the graveyard, Stewie drew his mop and looked around inquisitively.

"Now...where were those guys?" - he wondered.

Stewie began checking every gravestone, masoleum and whatnot. Eventualy, after combing the whole place, he came across a large grave, made entirely of stone and what appeared to be a keyhole on the tombstone. The Royal janitor reached into his pocket and pulled out a very large keyring and began searching for a specific one...

"Let's see 'ere...my room...fun room...dog house....outhouse...torture chamer...broom closet...Ah! Here it is." - he said as he took out an iron key, labeled "Musical Adventure Room"

"Why do I even call it that? It sounds ridiculous." - the janitor lampshaded.

He proceeded to insert the key into the keyhole and turned it. The bed of the grave slightly sank and slided sideways, revealing a stairwell. Stewie decnded into it. It was pretty dim, but conviniently there were some lit torches up ahead. Stewie took one and proceded. At the bottom of the stairs was an old wooden door, covered in dust and cobwebs.

With a pull of the iron ring that aced as a doorknob, the janitor walked into the old tomb. It was a large rectangular stone chamber with wooden coffins placed in small spaces in the wall. At the other end of the chamber was a stone slab. The janitor walked over to it and looked at the written letters on it:

Stewie raised his mop and pronounced the incantation. The cleaning tool was now surrounded in a red aura. Then a rumbling followed. THe surrounding coffins began to open. A large group of undead creatures came out and surrounded the janitor. One of them, a skeleton, raised it's hand in a greeting gesture.

"Eeeeeyy, Stewie! Long time, no see!"

  8. Kyran was quite deep under the water when the mesmorising song of the merfolk lost it's grasp upon him. He found himself dangerously low on breath as he struggled to grab the rope that had been thrown in the water to rescue him. Out of the corner of his eye, Kyran saw Ianthe swimming towards him.

Unfortunately Kyran used up all the air in his lungs before Ianthe even came close. His view slowly faded to black and the elf lost consciousness. His last thoguht was his hope that the nymph would get to him in time...

  9. "Very well my Queen-to-be. I just need to borrow a horse from the stables." - said Stewie as he turned around and left the room, and headed towards the exterior of the castle.

Outside was nice and sunny, along with a slight pleasant breeze. Stewie's blue uniform and cap shined in the sunlight, unlike in the slightly dimmer halls of the castle. Every janitor must keep his uniform in pristine quality! A small quota of small animals, distracted by the shinyness of Stewie's clothes, followed the janitor as he walked towards the stables, mop in hand. After strapping his trusty cleaning tool to his back, Stewie mounted a light gray steed and rode eastward.

  10. After hearing Conall's warning, Kyran listed his hands up to cover his ears, but the sweet hypnotic song of the sirens grasped him. It enveloped him and he could no longer control hiomself. Without uttering a word he stood up from his chair and walked outside of the cabin. Due to Ivan's undead nature, the sirens' song did not affect him.

"I wonder where he's going..." - thoguht Ivan upon hearing his friend leave the room with no mention of where he's going.

The elf reached the rail, climbed it and jumped into the raging waters of the sea, where Alphonse was as well.

  11. Stewie was strolling along the halls of the castle, admiring the floors that he had cleaned and polished to perfection. He was also carrying a small parchment with names on it that he was occasionally looking at and mumbling various things to himself from time to time.

He slowly made his way to the Grand Hall where his soon-to-be queen was. Stewie would've arrived quicker but the floors might have been just a little too polished....and thus a tad slippery. "Nothing to worry about, that will wear out some by the time of the celebration...I hope" - the janitor thought to himself.

He peaked inside the large Hall that housed the throne and saw Auriana. Stewe walked inside, parchment in hand. "Ah, my Queen-to-be! I'd like to know if an orchestra has been chosen already to play during your corination. If not, I know a some great musicians that can be found in a nearby town. I've heard their music. It's spectacular!"

  12. Kyran laughed as Tannin told his very amusing story. Even Ivan chuckled a bit. Hopefully nobody heard that.

"I've seen some bad plays before, but yours tops anything I can recall, friend! One time me and my friend Ivan let loose a few goats on stage when a traveling show was in my home town. We were just kids of course, but it was really hillarious at the time, especially how one of the actors ran screaming off the stage, because one of the goats started chasing him." - he paused for a moment and looked at the leather sack layed on the ground next to his chair, then looked back to the table.

"You forgot the best part - it caught him and started chewing on his pants..." - thought Ivan, as if he were talking to Kyran.

Kyran laid back his chair and drank some more ale and tried to enjoy his new journey. Despite the rocking of the ship, the elf was feeling fine. Not only has he travelled on ships many times before, the sound of rainfall was very calming to him, almost mesmorising even.

  13. Kyran leaned back on his chair, while holding a cup of ale in one hand. He took a sip before speaking.

"My name is Kyran, My lady. It is a great pleasure to meet you and your...impressivly large and colorful group!" - he said excitingly as his gaze turned to the various party memebers and then back to Rhaine. - "Tales of your deeds have made their way all across Faurun! I am a traveler myself and I've heard quite a lot about you. So I was wondering if I may join your group? This dracolich sounds like a very serious threat." - he took a few more sips from his drink. - " Obviously I will pull my own weight. The last thing I want to be is a burden."

  14. Kyran made his way towards the cabin like everyone else. With the intent of speaking with Rhaine, he made sure to sit next to her on the table; placed the leather sack, holding the remains of his closest friend next to his chair, on the ground. The Doomguide was busy chatting with the captain of the ship. Not wanting to interrupt her, the eladrin took his time and poured himself some ale, grabbed some food and waited for Rhaine to finnish. Only when Rhaine's eyes randomly looked in his direction he made a small gesture to hopefully grasp her attention once she was free.

  15. Kyran took a few more steps, pulled down his hood, and then made a short bow towards Rhaine.

"Forgive the intrusion, My lady. I was interrupted by our "hosts" when I tried to speak with you back on Umberlee's Wave. Since the pirates are no longer trying to spill our blood, would now be an appropriate time?" - he said with a smile upon straightening up.

  16. Kyran stood near the rail, watching the pirates turn from enemies to allies....sort of. The mention of a quest to a dracolich's lair peaked the elf's interest and made him want to meet the Doomguide even more, so he followed her as she went down the companionway to the lower deck, hoping to finnaly speak to her.

"I still think this a stupid decision, Kyran. You'll get us us both in trouble." - said Ivan. The elf decided to ignore that and continued on downstairs.

  17. Using his sword, Kyran parried the oncoming attack of a pirate who was charging at the elf. Kyran then pushed the other man's blade to the left and made a quick slash with a right swing, cutting the pirate's throat.

"You let yourself get killed by someone who barely uses a sword? You should be ashmed." - said Kyran as he looked around him to see if anyone else was attacking him. He then saw the pirate leader holding her sword up against the neck of a man, donning silver plate armor, followed by said pirate's 'request' for surrender. Much to the elf's suprise, the Doomguide ordered everyone to surrender. Reluctantly, the eladrin did just that, but not before wipping the fresh blood on his sword on the soles of his shoes. "I hope The Chosen knows what shes doing..."

  18. "Ivan, I'm going to go introduce myself to their leader, and hopefully join her group, so keep quiet and don't move. I don't want her asking questions about "something moving in my sack" - said the elf with a confident tone and strolled over to Rhaine.

    "Whatever."

As he approached the Doomguide, he raised his right arm, about to make a greeting gesture.

"Greetings. My name is Kyran and I..." said the elf and gets interrupted by a crossbow bolt nearly missing him and hitting the wooden floor next to him."...I will introduce myself at a more appropriate time. I do believe we're under attack."

Kyran was about to start hurling fireballs at the pirates, but he decided not to, as it bears the risk of setting Umberlee's Wave on fire as well; he drew his short sword and stepped back to give the actual melee fighters some space.

"Hey, I hear a fight out there! Lemmie out!" - shouted Ivan. Hopefully nobody heard him due to all the noise around.

"I think my fellow passengers will be fine on their own. Besides, in the heat of battle, they will assume you're the enemy. Can't let that happen." - replied Kyran.
