  1. Yes! I'm talking about Bretonnian Knights! And they look rather beautiful. Me and my friends discussed the lack of some more medieval kind of armour, not the plate kind of the 14th and 15th century, and not the knightly armour inspired for Skyrim whom we've seen before. No these have more of a chainmail and greathelm type of armour, similar to the Knights Templar of old. Apart from that I won't bother to describe the armour for it is easily portrayed by a beautiful art picture; Which I will attach. I barely know how to mod at all, it's the part of creating and texturing armour I have no idea how to achieve... Kinda big deal, Creation kit and TESEDIT's no problem however, and if not there are wonderful tutorials for that part. This is the chance for something rather unique, what do you think?
  2. I'm surprised no one has requested this as of yet. I cannot be the only one who likes early military breach-loaders? No? No? Okay :ermm: Quick note while you're still reading and not thinking "TL;DR" I'd like to add that yes, custom animations are hard, if not impossible to add. But I do not really care that much for them (if so I'd already make a request regarding fixing those awful wrong-sided bolts on all weapons), I think having the rifle available would be nice enough. Quick Background: This is a rifle with a loading system originaly devised as a way for converting old Springfield Rifled-Muskets. They attached a hinged breachblock, a rather simple method (and cheap) by milling out the rear and removing the breach-plug. At first the caliber (or atleast the barrel) was left unchanged. That didn't work very well (the British conversion of the Snider-Enfield fared pretty much the same in that regard) So they decided to make a new caliber for the rifle, .50-70 Government. It was decent, but the army wanted something better... So they created the .45-70 Government (which Fallout NV playes will recognize) Anyhow, the rifle exists in three different versions: The full-length Infantry Rifle https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/56/Springfield_Trapdoor.jpg The Cavalry Carbine* https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Springfield_Model_1879_02.jpg The more rare Officer Model (private purchase, not provided by the military)** http://www.davide-pedersoli.com/scheda-prodotto.asp/l_en/idpr_226/rifles-springfield-trapdoor-springfield-trapdoor-officer.html Video which shows the loading process very nicely in the beginning: Would fit rather nicely to the more revolutionary styled outfits without taking 20-30 seconds to reload in battle. *Damn ugly if you ask me, if anyone's going to make more than one version, but not all three... Please take the officer model istead of this one. **Springfield Trapdoor rifles weren't available for purchase by civilians anyway so it was still made in the Springfield Armory. Thank you for reading this all through. There's probably more I could add, but that'd probably bore a lot of people. There is one 3d model already available but I'm not convinced anyone is going to spend 50 dollars on one. Also I'm not certain the royalty rights would be enough to incorporate them in a mod.
