  1. Post a copy of your DLCList.txt from your C:\Users\<<your user name>>\AppData\Local\Fallout4 folder. Then use NMM and on the plugins tab there is a way to export your load order to the clipboard. Do that and post what you exported with NMM along with the contents of DLCList.txt in the forum.
  2. After you start Fallout 4 you would go to settings it's in the lower right corner. The problem is though that with NMM 61.23 and Fallout 4 1.6.3 or greater your mods should show up in game. Close NMM and go to your C:\Users\<<your user name>>\AppData\Local\Fallout4 and delete plugins.txt. Then run NMM and go to the Plugins tab and enable all the mods you want to use. Does that help any? Don't forget to sort the mods manually or with LOOT.
  3. You edited your post from Roaming to Local, so now what I explained doesn't apply. However, I do hope it's pointing to Local and not Roaming or troubleshooting with you will be pointless. Fallout4.exe must be able to find your plugins.txt file in the C:\Users\<<your user name>>\AppData\Local\Fallout4 folder. If Fallout 4 can't find that file then the mods you have installed won't load in game. What version of Fallout 4 are you using and what do you use to install mods? NMM or MO2? Which version of NMM or MO2 are you using? Please find the actual version number as opposed to saying "the recent version I think" because Bethesda changed how it manages the active plugins and the format of plugins.txt.
  4. I have never used the Roaming folder and wasn't sure what it was for. I didn't research the entire internet and Microsoft database however, that shouldn't be needed. I also want to mention Symlinks because of the 3rd party tools I support. Suffice it to say it's not typical for people to use Roaming as opposed to Local or to use Symlinks. That would be considered a non standard setup. Fallout 4 itself, LOOT, FO4Edit, Wrye Flash (not available at this time) won't use Symlinks so when users tell me they are using them I'll mention it's not supported. I have never known anyone to use the Roaming folder but I would have to say for the third party tools I work with it wouldn't be supported either. Because of that it's a fairly logical guess that Fallout 4 won't use the Roaming folder just like any 3rd party tool. I doubt Bethesda took that into account. So while I don't work with Bethesda I'd still feel fairly confident it's not supported. I can't explain why typing in %localappdata% would take you to the Roaming folder as opposed to the Local folder. It's your system you would know better then me. However, if you want things to work I suggest making a new profile on the same computer as your Fallout 4 install and don't customize the profile. Hopefully that change won't be applied to the new profile. If it is then you will have to look at Microsoft documentation so that %localappdata% will point to or only be associated with C:\Users\<<your user name>>\AppData\Local folder and not the Roaming folder. Once you system no longer look at the Roaming folder, then run the Fallout 4 Launcher. I would think it should make or update the DLCList.txt file under C:\Users\<<your user name>>\AppData\Local\Fallout4. If it does then Fallout 4, NMM, LOOT, FO4Edit, or just about any other 3rd party tool should be able to find and manage your plugins.txt file.
  5. As mentioned here any mod that alters a cell can cause issues. Its something to do with the game engine and not mods you have installed. Avoid using "scrapall" from the in game console, mods that alter Cells like Spring Cleaning, or Scrap mods that ask you to change bUseCombinedObjects=0. Using those things can cause unwanted results.

  7. Uncheck GeneraloftheArmy.esp, does that fix it?
  8. If you open your windows explorer and type in %localappdata% then press enter, where does it take you? C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local or C:\Users\<<your user name>>\AppData\Local?
  9. This would be recomended for your ESM files. *Fallout4.esm *DLCRobot.esm *DLCworkshop01.esm *DLCCoast.esm *DLCworkshop02.esm *SettlementKeywords.esm *Homemaker.esm Normally missing textures, items, and icons occurs when Fallout 4 can't find the files. I see you are using NMM and I'm sure it works fine so most likely the files are in the Data folder. So if that's the case then Fallout 4 just can't see them. I have a sticky post that covers this and I'll post it below. Missing textures and the inability to build settlement items: While troubleshooting something related to settlement mods I reset my INI files to the Bethesda defaults. Once I loaded a save game none of the items I had built appeared in my settlement nor could I build anything. Mods I have installed that alter vanilla meshes were also preventing me from building certain things. The change that had made the difference was with sResourceDataDirsFinal in my Fallout4.ini. I know there are a lot of people saying it's not needed but after testing with the current version, it seems like it's needed. I did more testing and it looks like both of these options work. I'm going to say you probably need to do one or the other, not both. I don't know which works better or why and option two seems to be the most preferred method. Option one: Edit your Fallout4.ini in Documents\my games\Fallout4 [Archive] sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\ Option two: Create a Fallout4Custom.ini in Documents\my games\Fallout4 [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\ Here is a video by Gopher however, he doesn't suggest to add the "STRINGS" part and users say it works fine without it. I add it as a safeguard.
  10. To check your version number load Fallout 4 and then go to settings. The version number is in the lower right hand corner. As for the universal menu fixer, as I mentioned it's in the files section at the link provided by damanding. It's a mod so you install it, load your save, wait a minute, open the menu and it should be repaired if it had invalid or null entries. Then you save your game and uninstall the mod. The next time you load that save where you repaired the menu the game will just tell you that you are missing WorkshopCategoriesFixer.esp. Once you have used the menu fixer if you go to the lights menu and you don't see what you expect to see then provide a screen shot of where you are looking and explain what you are looking for. You might not have any issues at all because you simply aren't aware of what the mods are adding. Don't forget everything I posted in in post #9. You can use the Homemaker patch provided with SKE or the unfinished dev version I provided a link to. I explain the differences in that post.
  11. Okay, so you have no errors. Did you click sort first? I only ask because you have missing menus or categories you said, "Because for me the light dont apear anymore" but no errors in LOOT. That means you have not done something suggested or you have a mod installed I have not seen yet and therefore not in the LOOT masterlist so no error is being displayed. I'm only trying to clarify things not be insulting but it's dang near impossible to be missing things if all your mods are installed correctly and you aren't using mods that alter the vanilla menus. The only other thing is I asked a few other questions. What version of Fallout 4 do you have? Do you have Fallout 4 1.5.157 or higher? If you don't know where to find the version number let me know. Did you try the Universal Menu Fixer?
  12. Nope it really won't help because looking at an image of your mods or a list of mods won't show which ones are not installed correctly or which ones are creating conflicts. SKE won't make the menus disappear or come back because SKE doesn't alter the vanilla menus so just installing SKE 1.38 won't help either. What version of Fallout 4 do you have? Do you have Fallout 4 1.5.157 or higher? Did you try the Universal Menu Fixer? It's under the files section at the link provided by damanding. Did you run LOOT, click sort, and resolve all the errors? If you don't prefer LOOT did you uninstall all the files listed on the description page for SKE? What did you do other then install SKE? If you are going to post a list of plugins (not a screen shot of mods) then resolve all the LOOT errors first so I'm not telling you that you have SomeIncompatiblePlugin.esp still installed and you should have removed it already. The reason I keep suggesting LOOT is I check the CRC of the original authors files. That is going to be a big help to you because if you didn't overwrite the original authors plugin properly how will you know? LOOT will just automatically tell you. Granted I may not have entered every mod but most of the mods that cause errors are listed.
  13. Bethesda changes Fallout4.esm without notice and it breaks mods because of the changes to records and subrecords within the records. Like computer programs Fallout 4 plugins are not forward compatible. If Bethesda changed the format of the record for Fallout 4 1.5.157 or 1.6.3 then you will need the correct version in order for it to work correctly. If the mod was made prior to the release of the CK then the mod was made without the CK and probably made with FO4Edit. Without the CK there was no way to know the record format. In those cases Fallout 4 1.4.132 should work. Otherwise I'd say 1.5.157 is the minimum I would suggest using if you want things work correctly.
  14. Settlement Keywords v0.8 by Stuyk is only compatible with Fallout 1.4.132 or lower. All the old SK patches are also only going to work with 1.4.132. They alter vanilla menus and will make the categories and menus disappear when used with newer versions of Fallout 4. You should be using 1.5.157 or higher of Fallout 4. If you want to be ready for the next DLC release I suggest you upgrade to 1.6.3 or higher. If you don't Fallout4.esm won't have the new categories in it. Most of the DLC also uses keywords only found in 1.5.157 or higher. SKE is not required to make Homemaker work with 1.5.157 to 1.5.416 but Homemaker isn't updated for 1.6.3 or higher yet. However, you can't use SK v0.8 and Homemaker together unless you are still using 1.4.132 or lower. Which if you are still using a version that old you are asking for incompatibilities because bethesda alters Fallout4.esm without notice and it breaks mods. If you upgrade to SKE then you will need to uninstall all the old SK v0.8 patches because they are trying to patch SK which altered the vanilla menus. Altering the vanilla menus is what makes categories and menus disappear. I have a very long list of plugins (on the description page) that should not be used with SKE because of the vanilla menu alterations. Another way to ensure you have SKE installed and have properly removed old outdated SK mods is to run LOOT. You don't have to sort your load order if you don't want to. When you sort with LOOT there will be an apply button, just don't click it if you don't want to. However, for whatever reason none of the errors and warnings show up unless you first update the masterlist (should happen automatically) and then click sort. Make sure you are running the most recent version of LOOT. As long as you have no error messages in LOOT then you should be okay. If you have missing menus after that then you are using an outdated version of Fallout 4, you have other mods installed altering the vanilla menus, you didn't uninstall the incompatible mods listed on the description page for SKE, or you need to use the Universal Menu Fixer linked previously. Also as bill8872 mentioned because of the significant changes made to the vanilla menus the SKE Homemaker patch is unfinished. Anything that Homemaker moved from the vanilla menus is now back in the vanilla menus. Anything that used an old SK v0.8 keyword but was actually a Fallout 4 vanilla keyword will be in the SKE menus. Everything else is in the SKE Homemaker menus. Because of real life I am unable to work on the Homemaker patch at this time. If you would like to try my unfinished version you can download it here. The only thing unfinished about it is that I don't have the post and pre war items completely separated into their separate menus. Other then that it's the upcoming patch that will eliminate the Homemaker menus completely. That way you look in the vanilla menus for vanilla items and the SKE menus for anything that Homemaker added. Easy and simple.
  15. Most NPCs for other games including Skyrim don't have dialogue options depending on the Voice type. For example say I wanted it to use the Redguard voice. If I do they won't have dialogue. If I set it to Nord, now they have dialogue like listed here. So it's just not going to work unless you create it all from scratch yourself. I would have no idea how to do that of course.
  16. Also if you have copied of other older f4se_X_X_X.dll where the X is a different version of Fallout 4 you need to remove them or they will conflict with the new version.
  17. @balsac, so there isn't much I can do by looking at your load order. This probably won't resolve your issue but I would suggest running LOOT. When you run LOOT click sort but if you don't like how it sorts your mods don't click apply it's optional. However, you do have to click sort to see the error messages. Resolve your error messages first. I mainly suggest running LOOT because I see you have the SKE version of Streetlights Use Passive Power and the old version installed. LOOT would warn you about that. Also you shouldn't use Homemaker - SK Integration Patch.esp with SKE. As mentioned, Bethesda is changing Fallout4.esm with blatant disregard for how it breaks mods. The only way to find the cause of your issue is to only enable certain mods at a time. If you had issues with your scripts folder maybe you need to uninstall and reinstall a mod or two. However, I would have no idea how to suggest when and when not to do that nor any way to know if you should do it at all.
  18. For LOOT don't worry about importing the load order. All I'm suggesting is to click sort to see any errors. Don't click Apply just click sort. For whatever reason LOOT won't display the errors unless you click sort first. To answer your question if you use 9.x of LOOT from the nexus and you have Fallout 4 1.5.157 or higher, with NMM closed, once you open NMM you should see the change. Just remember applying the sort is optional. As for checking your version, while in game go to settings and it's in the lower right corner. Don't forget to install the universal menu fixer and have the plugin active when you load your save game. I didn't suggest installing Fallout because there is probably something happening in the save game most likely. By all means finish your reinstall but be sure to use the menu fixer please. Just remember to let it run for a min and make a new save game. See if your menus look right after you run the menu fixer on an old save. Then uninstall the menu fixer.
  19. What version of Fallout 4 are you using? Have you verified the integrity of the game cache? Have you closed and reopened Steam in the system tray? Try it, I have to do it somethimes when it updates wrong. Have you ran the Fallout 4 Launcher? Have you made a Bethesda.net account and without using F4SE or INI edits, have you logged into Bethesda.net from in game at least once. It has been a requirement for a few versions now. Have you uninstalled your game and made a new Steam Library outside of program files by going to Settings -> Downloads and then installing to the new location?
  20. There is no automatic FO4Edit error checking routine by just loading your plugins. Also the "Check for errors" routine in FO4Edit isn't fully updated. In addition to that "Check for errors" will probably give false errors for the DLC because Bethesda made some edits to their own files that should not be made such as deleting entire records in use by other records. Some of which get changed by the CK if you edit a copy of the record. It looks like you are trying to find what causes the game to crash with INI edits but they are safe changes that I use myself. However, they are the only changes I have made. So be sure you only add the info for loose files. Then as suggested you should try only having a few mods enabled at a time. While I can see something being baked into your save, which happened for Skyrim, I don't see that being the cause of the crash. There is even one mod, I forget which, that requires another mod installed. The plugin isn't dependent on the mod itself rather that you need the mesh from the mod. The author's mod requires that mesh instead of asking the author of the mesh permission to be used in the mod. Which is an implicit dependency. So anything could be causing it. You can also have INI files installed into your data folder that could be changing things that really shouldn't be changed. Also, although I know Spring Cleaning is a popular mod I have suggested people not add the INI tweak it requires for the Combined Objects and I have suggested disabling it. I'm sorry but it has to be a mod at this point but which there is no way to know.
  21. It's already answered on the description page "Below is a list of mods that you should remove from your load order." For those that don't have an SKE install it's fine to use them if they help but they make vanilla menu alterations that are already fixed by SKE or the SKE patches. You uninstall them as they are not to be used at all with SKE.
  22. It is supposed to be in the C:\Users\Pedro\Documents\My Games\Fallout4 folder. Have you run the Fallout 4 Launcher? Have you made a Bethesda.net account and logged into Bethesda.net in game? Not sure if it will fix your INI issue or your textures issue but it has been a requirement for several versions.
  23. You usually right click in the Windows Explorer and go to New -> Text Document in the drop down. However, you do have to name the file Fallout4Custom.ini instead of Fallout4Custom.txt.
  24. I know you were just trying bill8872's suggestion but for future screen shots please don't have SKE installed because I don't want people being mislead that SKE caused your issue. Whatever was happening with your menus happened before installing SKE. Thanks for trying SKE though it can help in most cases get multiple settlement mods to work but I think you have some other issues to resolve first. What version of Fallout 4 are you using? Have you ran the Steam "Verify integrity of game cache" routine? Lookup Failed is probably because of missing or incorrect strings files. If you are having an issue with the strings files, Steam will restore them when you verify your files with that routine. Naturally SKE doesn't have or need strings files nor will installing it erase them. Also I have done Option Two in this post. I suggest adding the "STRINGS" part since that's what I am using. It won't hurt to try it. Don't forget also that Bethesda is changing Fallout4.esm at will with complete disregard to how it breaks mods. You will need to be sure you are using a mod that is compatible with your current version of Fallout 4. If the mod requires a newer version of Fallout 4 then you are using then that might also cause the Lookup Failed. This is my menu though to show an example of how it should look. 1. Uninstall SKE completely and manually delete SettlementKeywords.esm if it's still in your data folder. 2. Double check you have the original authors mods installed and not any SKE patches. Uninstall the settlement mod and reinstall it if you have to. 3. From the files section download the Universal Menu Fixer at the link provided. Install it and review the authors instructions. 4. Load a save game before you installed SKE. As the author of the Universal Menu Fixer suggests wait a minute or two. Then make a new save. 5. After making a new save but before exiting the game do you have all the menus? Here is a list. Make sure you have all your menus before installing SKE because as mentioned in my latest sticky post I can no longer provide support and troubleshooting for other authors mods. If you think you are missing menus then you should disable your settlement mods and find out which one is causing the conflict. After you resolved all your menu issues then you can leave it that way or try SKE. If you do try SKE then follow what I mention in my latest sticky post specifically running LOOT and looking for errors or warnings. They are there to help make sure you have the proper files installed. LOOT will also display warnings for files you should not have installed. There is even a warning for when users forget to install the Homemaker patch and only select the additional HM patches. Also if you decide to use SKE then also follow my load order suggestions on my description page.
  25. I use 1.6.9 and I have the current update for F4SE and Place Everywhere. There are mods that are crashing the game because of Bethesda's changes to Fallout4.esm. So don't wait for something to happen because nothing will magically fix things. Disable the mods in blocks of 5 or whatever you need to do to fine the mod or mods that cause the crash.
