Hi! Sorry for such a late reply. But this actually doesn't help because even if you set the quest to "not started" as soon as you talk to an innkeeper they will talk about Falion and the quest will start again. I also can't complete the quest through console because it will mess with my vampirism.

Hi guys I have a problem with the quest Rising At Dawn. I play a vampire lord and I'm completely satisfied with that, I don't want to get cured. The quest however requires you to get cured in order to complete quest. Otherwise this wouldn't be a problem, I could just leave the quest undone, but when I have the quest in my journal and I talk to the innkeepers and ask for rumours, all they talk about is how I should speak to Falion at Morthal 'cause he has studied unded and vampires and so on. This really bugs me and I would like to get rid of the quest but there seems to be no way to do this. If you complete the quest through console it removes your vampirism. I thought that maybe setting Falion non-essential and killing him would solve the problem, but I just can't seem to make him unessential. I've tried everything through console (setessential 0 etc) but he just won't die. If anyone has any ideas or solutions to this, I would be so very grateful.
