  1. Update: I ran FNIS again and generated new behavior files, even though I wasn't using any new animations. That made it work.
  2. Are you using LOOT or another load order sorter? Sorry, that's the only answer I know to give, as I'm very new at this. I just know how frustrating it is to post a question and never hear anything, so thought I'd put in my two cents, for what it's worth! ^_^ Good luck, and I hope a more experienced modder sees this and answers!!
  3. Has anyone else had this problem? I tried it yet again yesterday, on a new MO profile, this time with "default game settings" checked, no mods, and it's still doing it. Please, anyone? Is my game jacked up for good?
  4. TL;DR: Intro camera is messed up, human actors are frozen in t-pose in middle of the road. No mods, new MO profile, new game. In detail: I use Mod Organizer and created a new profile so I could try out a mod (RS Children, the playable version, because I want to make and export my own children faces). So I made the new profile, checked the mods I wanted, sorted with LOOT, rebuilt the bashed patch, everything, and started a new game. Well, first, the camera was literally inside my character's head. So I went back and unchecked a couple mods, checked some different ones, and started again. This time the camera was in first person like it was supposed to be, but for some reason it was positioned directly on the driver's seat of the carriage. What's more, the carriage in front of mine didn't have a driver or anyone in the back (can't remember if anyone is supposed to be in the back or not), and General Tullius was standing in the middle of the road in a T-pose. The carriages moved and everything, pushed Tullius out of the way, and then ran into Hadvar right outside the gates and got stuck on him. So I went back to MO and kept unchecking mods and restarting. Every time, it's been the same. Now I have deleted that profile, made a new one again, and started a new game with no mods--repeat, NO MODS, just the esms that come with the vanilla Legendary edition. It's still the same thing. My head is apparently sitting on the driver's seat, and Tullius and Hadvar are standing frozen in the middle of the road. The carriages move, the horses move, the dialogue happens as scripted. My saves on my other profiles are not messed up (thank goodness!!!). I can't for the life of me figure out what the heck is going on. Can anyone help me?
  5. OK. I've been over and over iNeed's Nexus page and Isoku's webpage for it, and I can't seem to find an answer. It seems other people have had this problem but weren't following the instructions given. I'm having trouble refilling/drinking from rivers, waterfalls, or other bodies of water. I finally got it to work by standing in the water at the bottom of a waterfall, opening my inventory, and hitting "use" on an empty waterskin. That is the only way I've gotten refilling to work besides at a well or from an innkeeper or friend. Holding the "Drink/Refill" hotkey while standing in the water does not work, and yes, I am holding the button, not just pressing it. It'll just come up with a message that says "there are no more relevant items for consumption" if I don't have anything drinkable left, or it'll keep drinking stuff from my inventory. I realize that Isoku is no longer updating iNeed for regular old Skyrim, but is dropping it in favor of iNeed for the new Special Edition thingy, so I know that this bug (if it's a bug) won't be fixed. I just wanted to know if anyone else had run into this problem, had tried everything I tried, and if they ever got it to work?
  6. OK, that doesn't sound like it's a game-breaker or anything. It'd be playable, right? Or should I uninstall the Bandolier mods and reinstall without the .esp files, do you think?
  7. Oh. Would that cause a mesh problem, or do you just mean it duplicates the amount of bandoliers available?
  8. Thanks, Elias!! I did what you said and used the .esp. Won't be able to tell if it worked or not for a while, though, since all the patches have to be rebuilt now. Thanks for your advice!!
  9. Hi all, I'm in the middle of installing some of the mods listed on STEP's "Pack: Survival" list. For the Bandolier mod, the STEP page says I won't need the .esp file if I'm using Complete Crafting Overhaul, which I am. So when I went to install the Bandolier mod I chose to manually install it and unchecked the .esp file box, but when I clicked next this warning message came up: "This mod was probably NOT set up correctly, most likely it will NOT work. You should first correct the directory layout using the content-tree." So I'm torn between ignoring the warning and ending up with a botched mod, or keeping the .esp file and having it conflict with something in CCO. Help, anyone?
  10. Thanks, Toseproeski! Yeah, you're right, I definitely need to get my friend to show me the basics... I'm sure it's easy once you learn how to do all this stuff! Thanks again for your advice!! :D
  11. Thanks, guys! I really appreciate your help! I'll still keep the post up in case someone has used these mods and STEP in conjunction and has any tips. Thanks again!
  12. Hi everyone! I'm new here, and I have some compatibility questions that I'd like your help on! So, I've just recently gotten my first gaming PC specifically to play modded Skyrim. My friend is graciously installing all the mods for me, and he's using STEP. Now, STEP is great, but it doesn't include all the mods I want (most especially, Frostfall!). So now that we've finally got the game stable, my friend is going to install Frostfall, and I'd like him to install a few others too but he doesn't know their compatibility and asked me to find out for myself whether they are compatible. And like I said, I'm really new at this. Thus, after a good bit of time spent in confused research, getting increasingly frustrated, I decided to just ask the people who actually know their stuff. Do any of y'all happen to know whether any of the mods below are compatible with a game using STEP (and for that matter, with each other)? And also load order recommendations, if possible? Frostfall (I assume this one is compatible since my friend is already going to install it, but thought I'd put it anyway just in case)HunterbornReal ShelterRE - Real EstateHearthfire Multiple AdoptionsRealistic Needs and Diseases /OR/ iNeedLive Another LifeSo, help a clueless noob out? If anyone has installed STEP and any of these mods, any tips will be HUGELY appreciated!!! Thank you all so much, in advance!! :D ~literalmind
