  1. Figured that was the response I'd get, either this isn't a as widespread bug as I thought, or no one is annoyed by it as much as I am. But just in case, here's a few screens of the problem I'm talking about, in case people can't tell from my description. http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/1598/screenshot2fn.png http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/632/screenshot3mrt.png http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/637/screenshot4gq.png As you can see, there's those boxes/squares of the fog of war recovering the parts of the maps I've already explored. This happens all the time.
  2. I believe this bug started in Oblivion, I'm sure we all know about it. You just spent a few minutes, uncovering the whole local map for the city you just entered, after you're done, you open the map, and see a fairly large box, square, or new in Skyrim, other shapes and pattens of the "fog of war" recovering part of the map you just uncovered. Of course this just doesn't happen in certain areas, it happens in all local maps of any area. This has been in every Bethesda game since Elder Scrolls 4, Fallout 3, and NV, through Skyrim. I can't remember if it was also in Morrowind. Why can't Bethesda stop this from happening? It has to be one of the minor but most annoying bugs in their games for me. I figured that Skyrim wouldn't have it, since it was supposed to be on a new engine. So I ask, a question I have a feeling I've asked on every single Bethesda forum over the years, have there been any mods or bugfixes that fix this really really annoying bug? I'm gonna have to assume no, since there haven't been any mods that fix this bug in those other games, but I figured I should just ask to be sure. This must be a damn hard or impossible thing to fix, since we have mods that fix pretty much everything else. Thank you.
  3. I thought it was possible that DERPshi wasn't being completely serious. Either way, I think I'm done here, the mod is gone, and it's not coming back.
  4. Who was suggesting that? From what I understood we all just thought it was weird that if Zenball said he made all the fixes himself, there would have been no issue with it, no one was suggesting he should have done that, least of what I saw. If I make a bug fix then that is MY bug fix. someone just can't come along and do the same thing without giving me credit for my hard working, finding out what is causing the bug and how to fix it. So if Obsidian fixed the bug, after you fixed it, it means they stole it from you? You do realize, it's possible to fix bugs, without ever going to The Nexus right? So if I went into Geck, and fixed a bug, just for myself, that you somehow also fixed, separately from me, I stole it from you? And btw, Zenball did give credit to each and every person, and had their permission. He was still gonna carry on with the mod too, before people started all this crap. I don't really mean any disrespect, I just really liked this patch mod, it was very helpful. Guess we'll have to either wait for a new one, or for Obsidian to fix things, which will take longer.

  6. Hmm, well there might be a fix for that, but I'm not sure what it's called.
  7. I ran into the patch while looking for new fixes. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36357 That should fix your quest issue.
  8. So that's it? This super helpful mod/patch is gone forever? Sigh...
  9. The Community Patch had a fix, but it looks like it was taken down. There might still be a fix, search from the word Raul. Should be able to find the fix.
