  1. Load order and mod list below.
  2. This may seem strange but I need help identifying a small but annoying problem I'm having. I must have installed a mod that lowers the player's weapon when walking, but now I want to get rid of it, and I can't find any trace of that mod anywhere in my files. I use NMM, but I don't have any mods that would affect this aspect of the game, or so I think. Is there any script name or something that I can look for to fix this? It has become annoying in combat when I'm strafing and my gun automatically lowers itself. Then once I fire it pops forward, then back down again immediately after. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  3. I had seen that tutorial, yes, but it involves using CBBE which I REALLY don't want to have to use. I attempted to follow the instructions there but they don't quite fall in line with how the model I'm trying to convert works. Frankly I got sick of trying to make it work on my own, and came here to see if someone would be able to help me where I failed. For what its worth, the author of the original model hasn't been on steam in 192 days, so it says. The mod's page itself is very clear about not PUBLISHING the mod to other forums, but I only want help converting one of the models in there to be visible and playable in FO4 for my own use. I do not plan on posting it anywhere. I know its only my word on that promise, but its all I can give. Here is the mod's page. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=197549037 The model I'm trying to work with is the Battledroid armor. It covers and hides the entire player body, which is probably causing some of the problems I ran into while trying to convert it myself.
  4. Even for just a private mod? I make personal tweaks to mods all the time to suit my liking, but I don't republish them. Is this much different?
  5. Sorry, I should have clarified further. The model itself is NOT a Bethesda asset. It is third party.
  6. Hello Fallout modding community! I am in need of help from one more skilled than I in converting a mesh and its texture to a format usable in Fallout 4. I did try to make the conversion on my own, but I can't make heads or tails of the tutorials I have come across. I would rather leave it in the capable hands of someone who has done this before. The model in question is a full-body piece of armor, and I will be using it as such in-game. I only have the .nif and .dds files in their Skyrim format. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thank you for your time!
  7. Oh...Actually no but those same grass textures are used in a Sanctuary overhaul mod I have. Let me try that. Edit: The Sanctuary mod by the same author it seems Final Edit: THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Uninstalling The Sanctuary worked! I hadn't even considered that possibility. Now to find a different Sanctuary mod :P
  8. I'm at my wits end. I can't figure out what's causing these ground texture glitches. Completely black squares and other shapes appear in seemingly random places, but they're absolutely everywhere. Link to images: http://imgur.com/a/W5x7l These glitches happened before I had an ENB and before I had installed the texture mod, Vivid Fallout - Landscapes. In fact I installed Vivid Fallout to try and fix this, but it didn't work. Does anyone have an idea as to what's going on? I can't find anything on this glitch elsewhere.
  9. Hello modelers and modders alike, I come to you today with a request (or commission) of a mod which will incorporate a mask in the style of the Phantom of the Opera into Skyrim for use by the humanoid male player races (Like Nord, Imperial, Breton, Redguard). Examples: http://i.imgur.com/BtsiDmU.jpg http://i.imgur.com/dYeqRVB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vdhV6kA.jpg NOTE: The mask sits on the right side of the face. So what's the good news you ask? I already have a start on the model for you! (It comes in .obj format, just as a heads up.) Granted, it needs some MAJOR tweaking, for example The forehead is huge, it needs to be snipped down The "string" that would go around the head needs to...go away It may be too long, meaning it may cover the ear It needs to be formed to fit the default character head model It needs material mapping and a texture. The rest I will leave to your expertise. I have already tried these fixes myself but alas, I am no modeler. Note: PLEASE do not comment on this thread if all you have to say is; "Well why don't you do it yourself, its easy!" -My patience wears thin on most things, and this is no exception. after too many roadblocks I figured I'd leave it to the professionals. "Well duh all you have to do is this, this, and this!" -Again, I have NO CLUE how to do those things. I respect you, modders/modelers. I don't know how you turn out such amazing mods. Its magic. It has to be magic. And right now I could use some of that magic. I intend for this mod to go along with a facial scarring texture mod I'm working on. Thank you for reading! 10. I love it! Absolutely love it! Any idea when it will be upload worthy? EDIT: And by the way, I am the original poster, Soapiestlyric4, I just have been using my other loggin by mistake. Whoops!
  11. I can't believe I missed all of these posts! Grimoa, that model looks amazing! I agree with RozenDoll, transparent blue with gold for the band. And Ghosu, that texture may actually work.
  12. I realize this thread might be dead, But I'm going to ask anyway. cfiziksh's solution up there was exactly what I was looking for. I needed to apply my own head textures to the player only. So I followed those steps and got a new option on the complexion slider. It worked...until I opened the game again, loaded my save with the new head textures, and they weren't there. My character was using the default. I opened the race menu again, and it was still on the new slider that I had created, but I had to move one down and then back to make the textures reappear again. This happens every time I load the game. Its a little bit immersion breaking when I have to open the race-menu and fix my face every time I go to play Skyrim. I don't know what is causing this problem. If anyone is still out there, any ideas?
  13. My original post here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/725510-race-menu-adding-new-selections/ Went unanswered, so I'm going to be persistent because I want to figure this out, and I haven't been able to do so on my own. Summed up: I want to add a new slot to the list of facial complexions in the race menu (much like how, for example, Apachii SkyHair adds new selections to the hair lists) but I don't know how. I'm in great need of help, I don't know where to go. I'm willing to do whatever is necessary to accomplish this.
