  1. Didn't see til today but thank you. Glad to be of help! And I imagine it is true for any NPC, not just Lydia.
  2. Is there a mod that works like the disarm shout but knocks off shields, helmets, armor, and clothes? If this were an enchantment you could put it on any weapon. Or on bracers/gloves for brawls.

  4. Anyone know if a good mod has been made yet for this (bringing down the Blackbriars and/or Silverbloods)?
  5. The Silverbloods too. We need a Beat Them Racketeers mod. Or something better than that, so if you finish the quest, someone else takes over the meadery and you see Maven going around in ragged robes, begging for a septim or two, or living in the Ratway. But to do it well you'd need voice actors I guess.
  6. Update - here's the stuff I have tried. No fix so far. Creation Kit Skyrim NPC Editor - no longer CTD, but doesn't fix the problem Housecarls More Feminine Stance Feminine Stance Housecarl_TavernCloths Lydia Marriage Fixed and More Housecarls and Followers Can Wear Zazz (2B and 5B) Migals Housecarl Beauties 1.01 Fixed Followers Lite Female Follower Fix (2 versions) The mod kevkiev suggested does affect her stance but makes all NPCs have the regular (not heavy armor) male stance - so it's all or nothing. Odd. Seems like there has to be a solution. ===================== UPDATE TO THE UPDATE ===================== After giving Skyrim NPC Editor and CK more tries, the best I could do was create a clone of Lydia that used the regular female stance. But somewhere in the process of trying to get her AI/factions right I noticed what they call the Grey Head bug. Thought I had it fixed but no, and it spread somehow like a pox to every female NPC in the game. I tried switching up the plugin load order, turning things off to troubleshoot, using older saves, the CTRL + F4 thing in CK, deleting unused files, no matter. Grey Heads even on saves from before I had hardly any mods, with everything turned off!!! Did a total reinstall and might not use any mods at all now. Look what just a dozen or so did to my game! All because she couldn't just put her *&^%# arms down... The feeling I'm getting is that if there is something that corrects this (and does nothing else!) and if it is installed before meeting any housecarls, it might work. But is there any such mod? ===================== UPDATE TO THE UPDATE TO THE UPDATE !!! ===================== The Good News: Skyrim NPC Editor works. The Bad News: You have to uninstall/reinstall Skyrim, then create the npc and load that mod BEFORE you retrun to Dragonsreach (after slaying Mirmulnir).
  7. I'm about to - I honestly didn't see it, and I'm hesitant to try something that'll change every npc...but yeah, "toting pumpkins" just doesn't look right in a belted tunic or dress. :) ----- (later) Well, it worked as advertised, meaning she doesn't walk like a gunfighter anymore but still has plain dude animations. I'm undecided but glad there is an option. Thanks.
  8. Nothing makes Lydia stop standing like a gunfighter. Methods I have tried to correct her stance include: Creation Kit Skyrim NPC Editor Housecarls More Feminine Stance Feminine Stance Housecarl_TavernCloths Lydia Marriage Fixed and More Housecarls and Followers Can Wear Zazz (2B and 5B) Migals Housecarl Beauties 1.01 I've given up. There is no fix for it. Maybe it has to be done before marrying Lydia, or before meeting her, but it's too late for that in my game. I've tried moving the load order around too. Mods currently installed: Bathing Beauties Luxury Suite 3.6 Better Females by Bella 3 Cloaks of Skyrim 1 Dimonized Unp female body 1.2 Game of Thrones House Shields 1.21 More Craftables 2.4 More Giants Toes 1 Personalized Music 4 Spend Dragon Souls for Perks 1.5 Summer Fashion for UNP base 1.1.0 Cartographers Map Markers 1 tox Dragon Map Markers 0.1
  9. How about a mod that allows you to 1. improve the armor value of any wearable item, even ragged robes, anything, and 2. enchant them also, with any enchantment. Basically if you or an NPC can wear it, you can improve and enchant it. Then you can get you follower to equip it without having to use a mod for that, which might conflict with other mods. Apologies if something like this already exists; if it does, then I am using the wrong words because I have searched hard for it, here and at the other place. Also, THANK YOU MODDERS, YOU FRICKING RULE.
  10. Boats that one can use in rivers and offshore would be very nice to have.
  11. Here are a few things that I think would add a lot of richness and replayability to the game. Some of them are in existing mods but not all. Dragons 1. Dragon eggs. Found only in lairs on the map. Used in potion making or as an ingredient for a high-level spell. Kept in an owned home and heated, they will hatch into dragonlings (as a follower). 2. Dragonlings fed daily will grow and remain friendly and can eventually become mounts. Unfed dragonlings abandon the player. 3. Lootable/craftable dragon teeth and claws. Dragonbone/claw/tooth weapons. 4. Random dragon attacks vary re: dragon size and age, but dragons on the map should, if unmolested, grow to titanic size and present a huge challenge to the player, regardless of level. 5. A single dragon should be a PROBLEM for locals. Its in-town attacks should render stores temporarily closed for repairs or even rebuilding. Large dragons should attempt to steal away with horses or maidens. 6. Dragons should have random, lore-friendly names; this can be easily scripted by having three lists of one-syllable words (as with shouts) and having the AI choose one from each list. With three short lists you could have thousands of unique names. 7. Greater variety of dragon color and breath weapons. Wingless variety? Multi-headed? Skeletal? Mounted by Dragon Priests or Draugr Deathlords maybe? Giants 1. Variable sizes, with the maximum being larger than vanilla. 2. Variable appearance. Females if possible. 3. Bands or clans of them, vs. 1 or 2 4. Mountain giants, valley giants, cave giants, fire giants, coastal/sea giants, etc. - different looks and abilities. 5. They should run raids from time to time. Water 1. Underwater combat - daggers, at least. 2. Boats that move. Amphibious viking-style raids, solo or with followers. 3. Mermaids & Sirens Random 1. Druid path/spells 2. Do more stuff in Sovngarde! Duels, etc. - hunting too (why are there no animals in Sovngarde? The best and biggest should be there, it should be rife with challenge and recreation) 3. Liches 4. Learn and play music 5. Snakes. Just snakes. 6. Some sort of something for players who become Thane of Everywhere. 7. Marriage should be more than cooking and the family store. 8. Adoption & Reproduction 9. High King Ulfric 10. Driders What do you think? Too ambitious?
