awesome! this is exactly what I needed. I already edited my health, stamina and magicka somewhat near to what it used to be before I screwed it up but I don't think it is accurate anyway. I should be able to calculate this by myself so anyway, thanks again :-)

Hello, I made myself a mod in CK (Ebony armor set including mostly mage oriented stats) adding around 200 magicka in total, around 50 health and 75 stamina. Also +25 Light armor and +40 Speechcraft. So my problem is this: I was wearing this armor for some time and when I got myself a different one, I just disabled this mod WHILE HAVING THE ARMOR EQUIPPED. Then I launched the game and saw my character's statistics higher than they should be. I took off all my gear and was standing naked with still these bonus magicka, health and stamina rates. I managed to get the statistics somewhat back to what they used to be (probably) before this issue but the Light armor and Speechcraft bonus remains. So in short: Q: 'I made myself an armor mod, wore it and disabled it later on while having the set equipped. Even now, when the mod is disabled I still have the bonus statistics from my custom armor set that I am not using anymore. How do I get rid of these bonuses that do not belong to my character anymore?' Thank you in advance

Hello and thank you in advance for having your time to read this. My problem is that when I approach a Black Book at the end Apocrypha route, I finish the quest and book opens. Three green orbs pop out as usual but then I have to choose which effect I want to use. When I use E on one of them, there is no informative window that would say something about the effect as there usually was. But now for some reason it's not there and using E just makes the effect go "into me", meaning that I can see the green animation but no effect is added. Even if I check my effects, there is no "Lover's Insight, Schoolar's Insight or Companion's Insight", or any other effect from any book. I tried it with many other black books but none of them would add the effect. I tried to disable all mods but that's not what it causes. All mods are fine, I also verified game's cache with no result too. Then I tried my older save file and it worked there, so I suppose that the problem is only on my save file, since I get the bonuses on my other character's save. I welcome any idea or solution that you might have and i greatly appreciate it Thanks

EUREKA! IT WORKS! You're right, I just read that Skyrim.esm and Update.esm are hidden so the player would not move them, edit them or something. Since my first Dawnguard playthrough my only issue as far as I remember was entering the Dawnguard Fortress, it crashed upon entering but I solved that. Everthing else was fine. Anyway I just tried to start the game again only with Dawnguard.esm active to be really sure before I contact Bethesda's support and guess what, the game started! So I activated other mods (starting the game several times, each time with more mods). I don't know why or how but I put it every mod I used to play (with maybe even more, lol) and the game loads with no problém. I only noticed a bit longer loading time between pressing "PLAY" button and the game actually starting and appearing in tab. But a few seconds longer delay is completely fine to me now :cool: So the game works super fine now, I tried my saves and the game loads them without any problem. I am not really sure why it works from like day to day but maybe because I tried so many things, everthing that included CTD's and Dawnguard.esm errors but I never restarted the pc after doing anything. Maybe all I needed was a PC restart? Or the steam downloaded the missing files/new files when I was dreaming what it was like when I played Skyrim? Either way I am glad you took your time to help me as you were the only person here to respond to me. If there is any way I can pay you back tell me, I heard something about Kudos? My question is that am I be able to get Skyrim.esm and Update.esm? I already re-installed the game and verified game files but after I double checked I am pretty sure that my Skyrim.esm and update.esm are gone. Would downloading these files make my Skyrim pirate?

Thanks for your reply I have put my mods in the right load order, verified files in steam, also tried to move my Dawnguard.esp and .esm from the folder and verifiy it to get clear ones, did not work either. All of my mods are either downloaded with Czech translation or I translated it myself in Creation Kit (just simple armor and weapons mods) I don't think that would have any influence on the game. I basically edited already existing mod. I was about to re-install Dawnguard itself. I have 2 save files right now. One is Nord probably 40lvl with finished Dawnguard quest line and all about it. Second one is Khajiit with no quest completed for Dawnguard. I do not play Nord save file anymore so I was thinking about deleting Dawnguard like a whole DLC and installing it again, would not matter to me if I would lose everything that came from Dawnguard on Nord save file. One person actually adviced me to re-install Dawnguard but I don't know how :0 Oh yeah and about the Language options, I play Skyrim for a year and half now with Czech language and I got so used to that once I tried to play in English for a couple minutes, it felt like a completely different game to me, lol. The only and easiest way to solve my problem right now is to set Skyrim to English language and adapt to it, which I would hardly do. If I would know how to delete and install Dawnguard back on again I would do that. Would put my save files out of the folder (just in case, I am paranoic) to the desktop and delete skyrim from steam library and reinstall it. I got my Dawnguard from a store with a code card in it, so would be here any way to reinstall it? I'm glad for your answer, someone finally brought a bit of a light into my problem lol I think I played 2 much Skyrim already EDIT: I just checked the %userprofile%\AppData\local\Skyrim\plugins.txt now and also the mods that are plugged in the game and I do not see Skyrim.esm and Update.esm file. How could it disappear? Maybe and I am pretty sure that it would be the problem.

bump I just noticed that Skyrim (with Dawnguard.esm) is available to play and does not crash upon launching when I change the Steam language to English. But I'd rather play in my own language. I hope that this little information will help. I am very thankful for every help so please feel free to share your opinions on how to solve this problem.

Hello there, Since today's morning I have a problem with launching Skyrim. Once the Bethesda logo appears, the game crashes. I already did a little research to see which mod is causing this crash and unfortunately for me, it is Dawnguard.esm file. Every other mod is fine and working. So when I turn my Dawnguard.esm file off, the game works perfectly well as it always used to, but once I tick it and play with it the game crashes after Bethesda's logo appears. If this would help, I installed Dawnguard about 4 months ago or so and since then I had no trouble with either launching the game or expriencing any in-game bug. Hi, I have the same problem. Yuri won't give me the "The Sweet taste of Elsweyr" quest or Pahmar guards don't respond to me.. I tried to reinstall Skyrim (always first thing I do when something does not work) and installing the mod again. I am not sure what is causing this :/
