To those out there experiencing this, i may have found a clue Now this is not overhaul, patch or anything its simply i fixed on my system and it seems atm to have worked there is a mod out there called Amazing Shields...i forget the author....the mod comes with a merchant stationed in whiterun. this merchant and the 1.5 patch dont get along. delete this mod...if you use the shields they are ALL availible as individual downloads.....thats it get rid of the big mod and whatever shields you want get them one at a time let me know if this helps anyone

and i came up with a new hypothosis.....i think its the shield mod....because the mod adds a merchant in whiterun that i dont think gets along with with 1.5...SUCKS to becuase those freakin shields are great

I would be more than pleased to five a detailed analysis.....first mods im running Amazing Shields-markofthedog cloaks of skyrim-noodles crimsontide-magnus jaysus sword-jaysus the dance of death-DaedalusAI allthese were Nexus MM installed i have one manual install of Better males - Beautiful nudes and faces - New hairstyles -forgot author THAT ALL for mods issue= i start a new game....get to whiterun, jarl has me kill dragon...CTD occurs when i eave dragonsreach, or sometimes i get to kill the dragon then after guard dialouge dragonsreach icon disapears from map and if i try to enter whiterun CTD any thing else you need just ask, i would be happy to provide any info i can to resolve

i was not aware....Nexus MM makes it so easy to install verything....just plz tell me there are people out thr workin on this problem...because its seems to be affecting a lot of people

i swear to go i want somthing to hate for this...i dont know if its mods the patch or what but i am soo pissed i CTD EVERY time at one of two places right before i kill first dragon and i walk through dragons reach, or after i kill hit and dragonsreach icon diapears from my map and i CTD when i walk back into white run

yea unfortunatly the read me files have install only not uninstall.....if i put my beauty mods in and just do a new save will that not work? still do your wait and save method,cause honestly i forgot to copy my save games before i deleted skyrim folder

oh wow cool that link is useful....i really want this to work so i wanna be clear ....the naul mods i have are making me nervous cause its just a copy and pasy install....but im not sure how to get rid of them because they replace data files....also after i do steps 11-17 am i free to install whatever mods i want?

also the only beuty mod i use is a manual install....nudes btter males one, i use the underwear option cause i have no interest in seeing dong, but the faces and bodies look much better...but you have to copy and paste date files individually...once this is done how do i know if i have my appearance set to vanilla, and then how do i manually uninstall?

ok i folow everything you say but i have a few questions 1.i do have beauty mods and i will install those before i doad the game, but the mods folder you were talking about i did not see, since i deleted all my mods cn i not just download them again and still use your method?

but the problem was not the mods...they were running fine until the new patch....the mods were the whole reason i wanted it on pc....if i cant have mods why not just return it and get it on 360

If its about a mod they dont care....thier official position is "we created the kit for the modding community, and do not care if patches screw up mods, its up to the creators to fix", so basically i have to get in touch with every author theat i ahve a mod from to fix something that was not broke a week ago....we are on our own....and they dont care what they f-up, thanks bethesda...much love

im gonna weap.....i diabled all my mods...did a clean install, reinstalled mods, not all but a few....i start a new game....i crash CTD everytime consistantly either after jarl tells me to go kill first dragon and walk out of dragonsreach yo whiterun CTD....or after ive killed the dragon i look at map and dragonsreach is no longer on map i try to walk back into whiterun CTD FU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! stupid freakin patch my game was heavenly till all this crap

you really think people can fix this.....can you take a look at the list of mods i have and see if you know of any conclits
