  1. Not sure whether this is the right place for this thread, however I have noted that when using the mod "Categories" listing, the listed number of "files" in each Category do not match the actual number therein. I have not checked all categories, but all those that I used all were incorrect. It was particularly annoying when "Bug Fixes" claimed to have 3 files, but there were none there  !
  2. Why Is Newly Re-installed Morrowind Crashing on Start-up?: I recently reinstalled Morrowind and set about remodding it by following guidelines in BTB's Morrowing Mod List. I ran Morrowind Code Patch and MGE 3.8.0. I used Mlox several times and corrected the conflicts it turned up using NMM and various mod sources. I started Morrowind. After protesting with several pop-up error messages, it promptly crashed. The Warnings file follows: “One of the files that "Vivec_Voice_addon TRIBUNAL.esp" is dependent on has changed since the last save. This may result in errors. Saving again will clear this message but not necessarily fix any errors. One of the files that "BetterClothesForTB.esp" is dependent on has changed since the last save. This may result in errors. Saving again will clear this message but not necessarily fix any errors. One of the files that "Passive_Healthy_Wildlife.esp" is dependent on has changed since the last save. This may result in errors. Saving again will clear this message but not necessarily fix any errors. One or more plugins could not find the correct versions of the master files they depend on. Errors may occur during load or game play. Check the "Warnings.txt" file for more information. I was not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_1. I was unable to find referenced object "|MGEpipe" in script MGE_Zoom.” I could not find a “Foot” either. But I did find and install Better Clothes_v1.1_nac.esp. BetterClothesForTB and BetterClothesBloodmoonPlus and More Better Clothes Vol 1 - Vanilla also are installed. I was not able to find anything like "|MGEpipe" nor how to do anything to MGE_Zoom. Mlox showed all mods had the required Masters. I do not understand why a change in an .ESP's master file since the “last save” makes any difference when there are NO SAVES. Nevertheless, I disabled the 3 offending .esp's and tried again. The game crashed again on start-up leaving a shorter warnings.txt: “Not able to find Foot part in BC_shoes_common_1. Unable to find referenced object "|MGEpipe" in script MGE_Zoom.” Mlox shows nothing related to Better Clothes nor MGE_Zoom ? So ... does anyone know how to overcome this problem? EDIT 15MAR2016: Following is the Mlox output: [NOTE] > 'DN-GDRv1 (BTB Edit).esp' | ! Darknut has released a new version of "Darknut's Greater Dwemer Ruins", 1.1 | ! Download it from Morrowind Nexus - http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43544/ [NOTE] > 'Syc_HerbalismforPurists (Pearl Bug Edit).esp' | ! "Herbalism for Purists" has an error in its Kollop script. BTB's version of the plugin fixes the error "by removing the mod's effects on kollups altogether". | ! Alternatively, Spirithawke has released a fixed version of "Herbalism for Purists" which corrects the script error but maintains the mod's effect on kollops, scroll down to the Additional Files section: | ! http://mw.modhistory.com/download--9321 [NOTE] > [ANY > 'Illuminated Windows v1.2.esp', > 'Illuminated Windows - Bloodmoon v1.2.esp] | ! 3. I have a similar, but recent TES3 problem on a Win 10 system. Morrowind is installed on D:\Games\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Morrowind\... 4. In response to post #8005321. #8005891 is also a reply to the same post. @Aelthas, had you not made your closing comment, I would not have suspected you were not a "native" {wherever that may be} English speaker. Your grammar and composition are superior to most I have observed in these forums. Btw, I held the same feelings as your friend at one time, but have gradually increased my use of the Nexus and other sites due to the excellence of most of their Mods and related commentary. And, the Dark0ne is among the best.
  5. Steam frequently has cancelled active mods. I don't know exactly when this happens. I find out when reviewing the mods list following a ctd or before restarting after a routine shutdown. Usually, a large number have been UNselected [i.e. disabled]. The NMM list often varies from Steam's. Several mods ALWAYS are turned off, including most significantly DRAGONBORN & HighResTexturePack01.esp. WTH ??? I paid good [i think anyway] money for that DLC and Steam automatically is turning it off so I cannot use it !!! Btw, the Dragonborn.esm dlc will not even show up on NMM. Have NO IDEA how to get it there; supposed to be automatic as are Skyrim/ Dawnguard/ HearthFires. Dragonborn.esm & HighResTexturePack01.esp ARE on the Steam mod list, but always unselected [& HRTP01 is near the BOTTOM of the list on NMM]. BOSS puts them back at the top. Other mods on Steam's hit list are: all 4 versions of Saige's ItemSorting, FatCat's Skriptures, Console Books, some of TurboSnowy's Angel/ Monster mods, 3 backpack & Dr_bandolier mods, UnlimitedBookshelves, jbs_banking_redux, Skyrim Project Optimization.esm, immersive thunder, bound weapons redux, Breezehome fully upgraded, AlchemyOrganization, 3 smelter mods [Riverwood/Riften/Solitude], the better[town/inn] set [Morthal/ Dawnstar/ Winterhold/ MarkarthExt], 4 BetterQuestObjectives set, BlitzConsoleCommandsMCM, BooksBooksBooks, 5 Spouse Merchant Counters [Hjerim/ Riften/ Markarth/ Solitude/ Brzhm], 2 Konahrik_Accoutrements mods, ALL SkyRealism mods, ALL UFO mods, WellCaveCustom, Underwater_Treasure. I don't see an obvious commonality, except that they all are Skyrim mods. I've successfully run Skyrim with these mods, including Dragonborn, so I know they do work together. Ideas ??
