Hi Everyone, I hope somebody can help me out. I´m playing the quest "Possession", decided to trick the demon. I enter the haunted house, have the little cut-scene where I see Ciri and look at all the red-glooming objects with witcher-senses. Now Cerys calls me and the questmarker jumps to her position. But when I go to her I can´t interact. I tried reloading, restarting the game, fast-travel (even dropped a bomb on her! lol) I played this quest before in my first playthrough and all worked fine. Any idea whats wrong? Thanksj in advance.

Are you using Skse or Sheson´s memory patch? Both could help you with that problem. Search the files for memory patch, I´m not very good at english so I can´t really explain what they are doing but the newest skse works fine for me, having similiar issues. Also check gophers video about it: Hope that helps!

Well this a wild shot in the dark, but are you using HDT - Equipment by any chance? This mod made my game stutter like hell in some interiors.

Hi folks, what are your experiences with Witcher 3? I´m thinking about getting it soon but am not sure about it running on my system. I just got me a gtx 960 with 4 GB Vram, my cpu is a AMD phenom with 4 cores, 3,20 Ghz. I think the weakest part is my oooold DDR2 Ram (8 GB) and my oooooold Hard-Drive (Scsi). I watched a few Youtube-Vids about Witcher 3 performing on old systems but i´m still not sure. I read somewhere that if you can play Skyrim with a full ENB-Setting and mods like Static Mesh Improvement, Flora Overhaul, Open Cities and so on, you´re good to go with Witcher 3. Any impressions? Feedback would be great, cheers! Ach ja: English is my second language, so ... be patient!

Thanks very much, guys. This helped me a lot.

Have you tried the "Guild Starter"-mod? You can start your own guild in whatever place you like and recruit any npc as a member. You can give them missions like thieving and (if i remember correctly) also make them assasinate other npcs.

@darkdream12: Thank you very much for pointing that out. works like a charm!

Hey everybody, after installing the latest geforce driver for win10 (355.82) my skyrim wouldn´t start. I got a error message talking about d3d11.dll and some "createDXGIFactory2" issue. I read in another forum (the one that cannot be named ), that this latest driver and sweet FX don´t like each other. Well, I second that. I deleted everything related to SweetFX and the game runs. Apparently, going back to an older driver-version (353.30) should work as well. You have to delete these files in Skyrim folder: - d3d9.dll - d3d9.fx - dxgi.dll - dxgi.fx - injector.ini - shader.fx - SweetFX readme.txt - SweetFX_preset.txt - SweetFX_settings.txt - the SweetFX folder edit: english is my second language, so be patient, bitteschön.

Steam and Bethesda remove paid modding from Skyrim Workshop

In response to post #24733199. #24733474, #24733594, #24733919, #24733969, #24734114, #24734584 are all replies on the same post. SirTopas: You just received a kudo for this. Saije: no offense, mate. but this kind of attitude is just what i got tired of in the last days. Who betrayed you? Who owes you (and me, and anyone else here) anything? We should be thankfull to anyone who creates mods we can use for free. THEY are the basis of this "community". -

I am so glad this is over. Not only because it was a bad concept by Beth/Valve. But also because of the reaction coming from some of us, the "community". Some of the comments I read here or on steam were just tasteless, immature and absolutely unproductive. I honestly think NOTHING would have changed for us here on Nexus, if they would´ve went on with their Pay-Thing. NOTHING. So is there damage done? Maybe. Some of the best Mod Creators ever were insulted and threatened by their so called "fans" or "supporters". I hope people like chesko will come back and forgive the wining kiddos and their childish comments. The accusations they received were totally out of perspective and overacted in my opinion. They deserve an apology. Sorry if I offend anyone, but this hole thing made me so sick. -
Valve/Bethesda announce paid modding for Skyrim, more games to follow

I don´t agree with BethValves strategy. But I don´t like some of the behavior towards Mod-Authors whose Mods have been there for years, used by many with no second thought about the time and dedication the authors bring into this. cheers. -

I just read the comments section on "wet and cold" and i´m pretty dissapointed by some of the posts. Guys, don´t forget: It takes people like Isoku weeks and maybe months of time to create a mod, YOU just click "download with manager" and enjoy this guys work. Then you go and click "endorse" and thats it. And some people just take this for granted, start complaining when a mod does not work the way they expected it, or conflicts with another mod they use. And now Mod-authors see a way to get some coin for their time and work? Rightly so! They deserve it! They put as much work into their mods as a full-paid programmer at bethesda or any other company. Just - please - remember: This all exists on a voluntary basis. Don´t start to run down somebody whose work you used for years, taking for granted that he just works and releases for YOU. English is a second language for me, so - sorry if anything isn´t understandable. Just my opinion.
