  1. Sorry for the delayed response Jimmy Been obsessing on FO4  Yep, loads of fun when I found it :wallbash:  Thanks for the effort to help and thanks for the comments See you out in the Commonwealth
  2. Well, I think I found the issue I feel so dumb right now For some stupid reason, when I created the Fallout4Custom.ini, I named it "Fallout4Custom.ini" I should've just named it "Fallout4Custom" After installing f4se, I realized what I did and renamed it Seems to be in good working order now Thanks for your effort and your patience
  3. Well, my Operating System (Windows 10) gave me the option of where I wanted my downloads, documents, pictures, videos and such.......A storage location option. It is the "Documents" folder associated with my OS and not a folder I created myself Yes......every mod I installed has been installed the way you describe Thank you for trying to help Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated
  4. Thank you for responding I appreciate every bit of help I can get Indeed, the ini files are in Documents / My Games / Fallout4 (on my secondary drive as well) Yes, NMM and everything associated is within the Games folder I created on my secondary drive I did this the same way with my crapped out computer that was not meeting the minimum requirements and everything worked with it Now, with my new computer, I can't get the mods to work right This is extremely frustrating, to say the least
  5. Any help would be greatly appreciated As it stands, I can't convince NMM that I do in fact have my .ini's
  6. I don't know about the crash but, it seems you should be able to close Fallout 4 without doing a computer restart. When the game locks up on you, hold "CNTRL" and "ALT" then press "Delete". Click on Task Manager to open it up, then select Fallout 4 in your processes tab and click the End Process button. That should work Just a thought If you already tried that and it didn't work for you........ Sorry, my bad
  7. Thank you for responding...... I have Steam and NMM in a Folder I have labeled "Games" on my secondary HDD The only game I currently have installed is Fallout 4 It's not in either of the program files folders on my primary SSD All my documents and stuff are also on the secondary HDD I had the game and a bunch of mods running fine on a computer that just crapped out on me It had a Vista 64bit OS and a lower than requirement CPU Same thing with where everything was installed In a folder named "Games" , instead of in either of the program files folders My new computer has a Windows 10 OS and an i7 6700k CPU on a MSI Gaming Pro Carbon Z170A motherboard
  8. Every time I try to start NMM, it insists I don't have an ini file. Every time I install a mod, it directs to the mod enable instructions I've already completed. I've played the game quite a bit, launched with fallout4launcher and the fallout4.exe directly, made the necessary edits to the fallout4.ini, fallout4prefs.ini and added the fallout4custom.ini with the proper edits as well Nearly every mod I try to install refuses to work properly. CBBE won't work, WOTC won't work, putting on The Rebel armor makes my character's body vanish, the M4A1 I just installed is invisible..........and so on. Somehow, easy hacking and easy lockpicking work fine though. Any helpful tips from the community would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
  9. I posted this a couple pages back but, I would greatly appreciate it if someone would be willing to test this on a Vista 64bit OS to see if it will run. I realize the CPU is questionable as well but, if I could play it at extremely low settings for the time being, I would be happy til I can get a new system. Do I have any chance of running Fallout 4 ? OS: Vista Home Premium 64 bit CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz GPU: GTX 750 Ti 2GB Memory: 8 GB RAM Thanks Hope to see you out there in the wasteland  EDIT: Well, went ahead and gave it a try. To see for myself Launched and have played for a couple hours Lowest possible settings, of course. A bit of blocky shadows is all I've really noticed so far Being able to play at all is the main thing for me  I can deal with the low graphics til I get a new system Anyway...... See you guys and gals out in the wasteland :nuke:
  10. Do I have any chance of running Fallout 4 ? I know the published minimums say no but, I'm hoping someone can actually tell me. Bethesda support won't even respond to the question. OS: Vista Home Premium 64 bit CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz GPU: GTX 750 Ti 2GB Memory: 8 GB RAM Anybody willing to try it on a Vista 64 bit OS and let me know for sure ?? Would the CPU have any chance ??
  11. @Kraeten, Thanks to your help, I now have working mannequins. I wanted to verify this after testing............You can indeed have your mannequin facing North and make it work by spinning the MannequinActivateTrigger box 180 degrees to face South :whistling:. I'm guessing that little bug has to do with the ActivateTrigger and not the mannequin itself. It's a good thing because I already have my mannequins set up where I want them and some are facing North. @Bettafighter, Thanks for the link. At first glance, I didn't see anything about forcing a mannequin to work but there are some useful commands given there. Thank You Happy Modding 8)
  12. @Kraeten, Thank you very much for the link to that youtube tutorial clip. Just the one I needed. Yes, Youtube can be quite helpful indeed. :) @Shade1982, Thanks for the tip on the North facing issue. I actually found another youtube tutorial showing that you can have the mannequin facing North and spin the activator trigger box to face South to get the mannequin to work. :whistling: I appreciate the help guys.
  13. I'm trying to put together a home with some mannequins to display armor and they don't seem to want to work for me. :wallbash: They have a script already applied to them which gave me the impression that I can use them. Clearly, I'm missing something. What all do I need to do with them to get them working ?? Any assistance that I could get would be greatly appreciated.
  14. Thank you for the tip on where to find the quest id's senterpat. That's much appreciated. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to give to the impression that I thought AWOP messed up my game. That's why I added the comment about the thought not crossing my mind. It's got to just be a coincidence that this started after installing it. I'm curious if it's possible that something added some gangers somewhere close enough to Goodsprings for the game to think they may be part of Joe's crew though. If so, I'd like to find them and turn them into swiss cheese. I guess I'll have to avoid this quest like the plague :nuke: until I can figure out what's going on if I want to continue buying stuff from Chet and Trudy. Or just shoot Joe :whistling: before the Defeat the Powder Gangers objective and be done with it. Thanks, Happy Modding
  15. Have you tried waiting and/or sleeping for three or four DAYS to allow a spawning cylce and then try to exit the bldg ?
