  1. There really is no explanation, but if it's needed, I'll give it. TLDR at the bottom. Unarmed builds are one of, if not, the most fun builds in the game. There's nothing more satisfactory or fulfilling than sending yourself charging into a group of Deathclaws and punching them to extinction. It's fantastic and a testosterone injection straight to the brain. The Power Fist is a weapon that is *built* for punching things. An industrial, pneumatic, pressure-driven gauntlet which is used to bury itself deeply into the face of whoever had the luck of wanting to ask you if you liked the sight of your own blood within arm's reach. This weapon is fantastic and its unique variants are usually the cornerstone of an Unarmed build. My issue is that you only have the one on your right hand. Granted, one is all you need, but in the Fallout Universe, overkill was never even a part of the well-educated scavenger's vocabulary. Therefore, I ask the modding community of this timeless game to, if it's possible, make a mod where you can roam around the vast Mojave Wasteland with the fisting power that any raging mailman rightfully deserves. Please. (TLDR) Can someone make Dual Power Fists to punch things a lot, please. :D
  2. As it turns out, I figured out and have everything working. My mistake for bothering the helpful people on this forum. I appreciate the help I received and hope you all have a fantastic rest of your day!
  3. Did I mention that I'm not tech savvy as most people? And that i'm just starting to PC game? Probably should've. I don't mean to be a bother, but I really am trying my best to understand all the instructions given. I did extract it all and searched through; I even put the NVSE loader in the directory along with the first .dll I spotted. The game loaded, I put in the command "GetNVSEVersion" and it just came up as an error. On the download page, that means something went wrong. I don't know what went wrong, though. Halp, pls.
  4. Okay, I've done that and I see the .dll. However, there are MULTIPLE .dll. Do I just take the whole extracted folder and put it in the directory or do I have to specifically find and copy those two? And also, I assume the .exe file is the NVSE Loader? EDIT Think I did it. EDIT# 2 I did not.
  5. EDIT So I deleted the 7-Zip folder and everything involving it on my thing, and now I'm going to redownload 7-Zip and NVSE. I'll edit with the situation that starts up. EDIT #2 Same thing. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is there something I'm supposed to specifically open? The specific name of the file?
  6. Okay so, this is really bugging me. I want to use the Pipboy 2500 mod and, you know, countless other mods that require NVSE, and as I'm reading down the installation process, it keeps telling me to copy and paste the ".dll" and ".exe" files into my Fallout Directory. Now, this would be simple, right? However, there's a small problem: I don't see either of those. When I download NVSE, it's downloaded as a 7bit file titled "nvse_5_1_beta4". Not a damn .dll or .exe to be found. And I know what you're thinking: "have you put this in your directory?" Yes. I have. However, I found out really quickly that it apparently doesn't count as having NVSE installed, because I received a message that said NVSE wasn't installed when I started a new game with the Pipboy 2500 mod installed as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Perhaps a step-by-step as to how to properly install this friggin' thing the proper way?
  7. Well s***. I'll check and edit what I find. EDIT: So, I disabled Enhanced Shaders and the boxes disappeared. When it comes to my weapon retextures, they're active and working perfectly. I think the problem's been solved. All I'd need now is to find good texture mods. Thank you so much for your help!
  8. Just enabled that, but before I saw your response, I changed the staging file location to where the mods were. When I did that, I applied and it didn't give me a "don't do this" message like it does if it's in invalid file location. I went in and apparently there were missing textures in the form of red, transparent boxes with white exclamation marks in them. I'm going to start up the game again and edit with what I find. EDIT: Still haven't had anything change, red transparent boxes still exist.
  9. So, I checked and the mods are in the data folder. As far as "archive invalidation" I have no idea where exactly that'd be. When I looked it up, it said New Vegas has one and that you're able to enable but did not exactly lay out where it'd be and what tab I'd have to open on Vortex. Also, thank you for helping me through this so far. I appreciate your patience.
  10. I hate to do this to you, and I really don't mean to inconvenience, but like I said I'm new to PC anything. And I mean ANYTHING. When you say "Game Directory" you mean on Vortex or my laptop in general?
  11. Call me a fool for going in blind, but I'm new to PC gaming. I've been a console player my entire life but wanted to branch out to experience the beauty of gaming on other platforms. I got a laptop for my birthday and decided to download steam, and in the process also bought one of my all-time favorite games "Fallout: New Vegas". The modding capabilities had my drooling in anticipation so I went onto the nexus and downloaded Vortex to be the mod manager. After doing so, I downloaded the following mods: Yukichigai Unofficial Patch, Enhanced Shaders, Weapon Retexture Project, and Weapon Mesh Improvement. Now, because I'm new, it's troubling me to the fact that I have auto-deploy on, the mods are enabled, hardlink is on, and I was never given an error other than on a mod called Fallout Mod Manager. By the way, these mods did not have that mod as a requirement to download so I opted to keep it uninstalled. Any help would be appreciated at the earliest convenience, preferably actual help rather than calling me retarded or something along the lines of that. Thanks, a new user.
