  2. So I usually play full assassin (knives and stealth) with very little use of magic, but I decided to go mage when I did the Mage's Guild this time around. I had forgotten how incredibly boring and underwhelming the spells are in the vanilla game and even most of the more popular magic mods. Like... I have the power of the freakin' elements at my fingertips and the coolest thing I can pull off is a beam of lightning that roots me in place? Pathetic. I want big. I want grand. I want power. My modding skills are rather limited, so I call on you all (either to create them, or walk me through what I'd need to do to get them made). I would like to have three spells initially, one for fire, ice, and lightning, but I can see potential for more along the same theme. All three spells would work with the two-hand script (like the master level spells), require no warm up, and do massive AoE damage in a decent sized cone in front of you as long as you hold down the buttons. Name ideas are welcome. Fire: Unleashes a continuous torrent of flames. Initial cast does 60 fire damage which increases by 1 for every second the spell is cast. Targets slain by this spell explode, dealing 40 points of damage in a 15 foot radius. Targets on fire take additional damage. (Magicka base cost: 150 per second) Ice: Unleashes a continuous blizzard of ice. Targets take 75 frost damage to Health and half as much to Stamina as well as being slowed by 50%. Targets that take damage from this spell for more than 8 seconds are frozen in ice. (Magicka base cost: 150 per second) Shock: Unleashes a continuous field of lightning. Targets take 75 lightning damage to Health and half as much to Magicka. Enemies within 15 feet of each other cause the lightning to arc between them once every 3 seconds, dealing an additional 40 lightning damage to Health and half as much to Magicka. (Magicka base cost: 150 per second) Like I said above, other variants could be added (like a mass healing, mass necromancy, mass calm, fear, etc.), but these are the main three I'd like to see. How to get them is up for discussion. I feel like hiding the spell tomes throughout locations visited by the Mage's quest line would work nicely as the mana costs are a bit high for low-tier players, but definitely manageable for those higher up. Thanks for the read and let me know of any help you can give!
  3. Would it be possible to get some Fire Nation armor and robes up in here?! I wanna style it up when I'm burning people to ash. http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110402155307/spongebobandfriendsadventures/images/b/b7/Fire_Lord_Ozai.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg65/Flare2057/azula2.jpg http://mimg.ugo.com/201007/50168/prince-zuko-cosplay-costume.jpg
  4. http://i.imgur.com/4aPTabs.jpg Saw this comic and thought it'd be an interesting suggestion. Just take the base leather armor or something, cover it in iron daggers, make it require 100 smithing (Dragonbone perk), and for giggles, tack on a reflect damage enchantment to simulate the last panel! Viola! Ingredients could be the base armor plus an absurd amount of iron daggers per armor piece.
  5. How in the world did I miss that? I searched that site, Steam, and Google for hours. Anyways, thanks a lot.
  6. RIght, so I've scoured the interwebs for a mod that will prevent NPCs from vomiting random gossip over the top of the NPC I'm trying to talk to. I don't care how good of a smith Eorlund Gray-Mane is or if you REALLY WANT TO KNOW IF I'VE BEEN TO THE CLOUD DISTRICT! FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME!!! *ahem* Apologies. I'm not too sure how difficult this would be to work out, as I suuuuuck at modding myself. Ideally, all idle dialog would still be kept (as some of it is actually useful), but it would be silenced or not played at all while the character is in a dialog thingy with another NPC. I know I, as well as a lot of immersion lovers out there, would greatly appreciate it, if it is possible. Thanks, guys!
  7. In the show, hundreds of souls need to be sacrificed in a specific ritual to even form one, so there's that for the obtaining quest. After that though, they're easily recharged. I figured soul trapping would be fitting. And as far as balance goes for something like this, it's basically just doing the same thing a quick save/load would do, just more thematic and immersive.
  8. First request on here, so I'm not sure if there is a specific way to post these, but here goes. Right, so this request ties into the anime Fullmetal Alchemist. If you have seen it/read the manga, feel free to skip this paragraph. So, this show revolves around alchemy and the law of equvilant exchange. You give something up to get something of equal value, or offer something up to rearange it into a different form. The posibilites are only limited by the law of eqivilant exchange (value of product must equal the value of the offering) and the user's creativity. The most valued of all things in existance are human souls, which can be offered in echange for momumental feats of alchemy. In the show, Philosopher's Stone's are made, which are basically little red gems that hold the souls of humans, ready to be utilized. There creatures known as homunculi created by the baddies, which are basically human bodies with a Philospher's Stone melded to them, granting them near-imortality, ressurection/regeneration after taking lethal damage, and immense power. All this brings me to my request: a Philosopher's Stone of my own to use in game as I play as a homunculus. I'm picturing a little, round, semi-transparent red stone which weighs very little and acts like a soul gem. Upon killing a soul trapped human (black souls), its charge would increase by one. It would behave like the jars of fairies in Zelda games, restoring your health and consuming a soul upon taking lethal damage, which is how it works for the homunculi in the show. As of now, that is about it. For those who know the show, a cool quest could be worked into making/finding one, if you're so inclined. With a way of obtaining multiple, it could disentigrate upon comsuming all charges, as per the stones manga and anime. Thanks for your time, guys and gals!
