  1. Great!!!! I found my problem!! It seem that the niftool plugin (at least mine) for 3ds Max 2012 simply not work well with animation. I have tried the ''Civilisation IV'' plugin (witch offer some very useful feature) and it worked well. To every-one with a similar problem, try the Civ4 plugin, for me it worked. You don't have to convert the result for Fallout, it work even if it's made for Civilisation IV. (the .kf file)
  2. OK It seem that the 3ds max niftool doesn't work with kf files for Fallout 3. I tried ''Civilisation 4'' and ''User'' instead of ''Fallout 3'' as setup in the exporter and it worked!! The animation load and the model move without the game or the GECK crashing!! Now, I am facing a new problem. When an animation load, the model appear fold in two. If anyone have any idea, please tell me.
  3. Hi! I am trying to port a Mech model to Fallout New Vegas but I am having a hard time figuring-out how to import animation from 3ds Max into the GECK. I had succeded in importing the mesh and a very basic skeleton in game. The problem is, every time I try to load an animation, the Geck and the Game crash. For the skeleton, I had to rename every bone ''Bip01 XX'' where XX is the rest of the name. For the animation, I loaded it on the original mesh and after, I changed the bones names to matche those of the skeleton. In 3ds Max, the animations works very well but I can't seem to find the correct way to export them so the game won't crash. The skeleton is basically the original model without the mesh so it is missing a couple of things. I don't know if the problem is the animation file or the skeleton but scince the animation file is not very different from a vanilla one, I think it is the skeleton. How to make a good skeleton for fallout? I based myself on tutorials for Skyrim and Oblivion but there seem to be some differences and there is not a lot of tutorial on that matter. I attached the layout picture of the animation file (Idle08.png) and the skeleton (skeleton.png). I know it's not mutch but maybe something could catch your attention. Sorry for my english, it's not my first language. Thank you in advance!
