  2. I attached a link to steam where I have more screen shots, and now theyre actually visable. And i don't have any ENBs downloaded.
  3. To keep things short, skyrim's landscape is looking poor atm and i cannot seem to figure out why. I have had the same computer since I bought the game and skyrim used to run with no problems, and I've only been upgrading my computer since then (new graphics driver, more ram, general clean up) so I don't believe it to be my computer. But massive chunks simply aren't loading, I have to get right up next to whiterun before I can see even the outer gate. Even then the castle itself won't load. It's obviously very immersion breaking. Additionally, distant mountains have a yellow color to them (see screen shots) and have very little/poor texture quality. Any help is appreciated thanks! (ive tried tinkering with the distance settings in the skyrim menu, nothing there gets the landscape to load properly)
  4. Excellent. Worked like a charm. Thanks a bunch.
  5. Well this is (obviously) skyrim so I assuming I just follow the directions while substituting skyrim in everytime I'm supposed to do something with FNV?
  6. Basically, I have this problem. Sorry for the poor quality, it isn't my video. From what I can tell, whenever I come into indirect contact with a light source (there is something between me and it, for example tree leaves or bars on a jail cell) the shadows are really bugging out. When I was testing in the Dawnstar jail, if I removed the bars between me and the wall-torch, there was no issue. But when I put the bars between me and it, the light flickered as I walked down the row of bars. Everytime an individual bar was in between me and the torch, a huge shadow would engulf me. When I moved, the shadow disappeared. As for the grid, it pops up in these shadows a lot. I found a previous thread on this, but nothing helped. How do I fix this?
  7. Which mod is better? (More immersive, less annoying, more user-friendly, more customization, etc.) Drink Eat Sleep Bathe OR Realistic Needs and Diseases I'm starting a new playthrough and I want to see which one is "better". (Yes I know better is a vague term). I mainly want to know more about why people like the mod that they do. Also if there is a mod similar but that surpasses both of these mods, feel free to tell.
  8. It works! Thanks so much for the help. I'm still getting an odd grid pattern on shadows, but ill try tweaking the settings to see what I can do. But thank you so much.
  9. Just got a popup box halfway through the install saying Application Install: Install Package Failure. The install continued after I hit "ok" and the status box after the install had everything as successful but "Application Install: Install Package Failure" was at the bottom under "error messages"
  10. Operating System Version: Windows Vista (32 bit) NTFS: Supported Crypto Provider Codes: Supported 311 0x0 0x0 0x0 Video Card: Driver: ATI Radeon HD 2600/3600 Series DirectX Driver Name: aticfx32.dll Driver Version Not Detected DirectX Driver Version: 8.17.10.1124 Driver Date Not Detected Memory: RAM: 3069 Mb This is copied and pasted. I said I have directx 11 because when I go to dxdiag(dot)exe it says I have 11. Also, I tried a reinstall last night and it didn't work.
  11. When I load a save I'm having really bad issues with chunks. It isn't that they aren't loading, because in the beginning they load fine. After a couple seconds stuff starts to disappear. Here are some screen shots: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198056942142/screenshots/ (The whiterun screen shots that are taken outside are during the rain) I recently added more ram to my computer and i updated my driver, so I think it has to do with that. (this is the first time I have played since i updated everything). I have no mods installed. Also it isn't an issue with saves, I have checked them all, none of them are corrupt and I have tried several new games. Specs: 6 gb ram 2.40 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad CPU 32 bit direct x 11 windows vist If you need anything else, just ask.
