Hi, This has always confused me. How to setup launcher for fallout 4 for ENB compatibility. Thought you had to disable AF or AA as ENB does same thing? Also turn of Ambient occlusion? Can someone clarify? Thank you

Luckily I have the benefit of having a few computer systems I have built to test FO4 and the long load times only happens on my Z590 11700K system. On my Z390 9900K build its pretty fast with all mods enabled and I only have about a dozen of mods. I try to keep the mods pretty much synchronized upon each system with the same rollout. Though I have a couple theories why the load time on one system can take up to a full minute and 15 seconds on the next or even instantaneous load on the other. First theory is that steam did a dirty upgrade to next gen version and old game files are still present causing issues. The faster system was a fresh install of next gen version. Second theory is that FO4 doesn't like my two disk NVME pci-e 4.0 raid (chipset unfortunately bottlenecked to pci-e 3.0 speeds). So going to copy the faster game files onto the slower system removing the old files in the common folder first. See what happens. Let you guys know...

Wonder if its because I installed the Official HD texture pack DLC. Read just now that its a game performance killer. Maybe I should uninstall it.

So tried the alt tab trick and that worked though on the third try the resolution was wrong but came back to normal after another alt-tab. Feels like this game needs another unofficial patch.

Yes I am aware of the high physics fix but unfortunately dependent on F4SE. The other fixes which I don't understand work on vsync which I don't understand how unlocking vsync affects load times. Would figure there should be someway to cache to files more and use the newer nvme features I read about that microsoft was working on with game devs.

Hi, I am running both Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4 latest next gen update on a pretty modern system with the data drive running off of a raid zero nvme array with an 11700K cpu with 32 gb ram. Anyhow Fallout New Vegas loads up really fast like lightening but Fallout 4 is slowwww ... I have patched New Vegas with heap upgrades and unofficial patches and modded it as well but Fallout 4 is mostly texture mods with exception of recent unofficial F4 patch release came out yesterday. So wonder are there any mods that improve load times?? Thank you

Well last night I tried deleting F4SE files and Vortex failed to load Fallout 4 with an error in red. Will have to double check and take into account the advice given. Thank you.

Wondering do you need F4SE to load custom 2k/4k textures or can they be manually installed without F4SE onto the new F4 update? Seems like Vortex won't run Fallout 4 without F4SE which is what I use to load the custom texture enhancements. Thanks

Are you saying I installed my Dyndolod textures incorrectly? I don’t notice anything out of whack in game.

I placed my mods mostly in order that I installed them and some self guided intuition where to place certain ones. After that I ran Loot to sort the plugins. Thanks.

Solved it. Was my monitors overdrive set too high. Fixed.

Hi, Have a number of HD mods, Dyndolod mods, and DLAA mod. Noticed when I move there is a ghosting effect along edges of objects. Not sure what causes that? Monitor or mods? Thanks
