Lol I know, I'm a bit of a luddite. I'll see about upgrading but I don't know what to do if that doesn't work.

Yeah that's the one, I'm using internet explorer but I've not had any problems in the past. I can't see why it suddenly won't download properly anymore.

I'm trying to download the NMM community edition but every time I do I just get a plain white file that I can't open. I tried disabling my antivirus but it was still the same. I had to uninstall the previous version because I couldn't update it and now I can't play the game with mods anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

This might seem like a pretty basic question but how do you install these mods? I'm new to Nexus (only used the easy to use steam workshop until now) and am trying to install the 'companions go home' mod for fallout 4 but I can't get it working and there aren't any instructions.
