  1. Read a bit about what's included in the update - a lot of the features, like the camera adjustment, using witcher senses to fade in/out the HUD, the faster sign usage, updated texture, etc. - are already all possible with mods. As someone who is not very familiar with modding, I am more curious what this update can do for modding the original, rather than what mods can do for the remake. The only great upside I saw was maybe DLSS, but I might have missed more.
  2. Hi modders, Would it be possible to either disable or alter the "thrust" audio that plays when double jumping / flying with the jetpack mod, etc? Would rather hear nothing at all than that annoying thrusting sound. Thanks!
  3. Thanks partner! Hopefully it'll serve you well! Not that I'm aware of - but I make sure my armor level is as low as possible and play on the hardest difficulty. I also don't upgrade my guy to increase his health stat and try to avoid having to do so as much as possible. The further you go into the game, the less of an issue this becomes as enemies get more powerful weapons that tend to end you quicker and quicker over time, especially if you're rocking low level gear. It's nice, but it also let's you wear the armor you want rather than having to compare stats, since it's less of an issue. As enemies continue to get strong, keep upgrading your weapons and keep the damage multiplier as high as possible for your preference. Keep the 'unlimited supplies' option in the trainer ON for when you upgrade, so you can produce the most powerful version of your weapon. My Katana, for example, is currently sitting at 1600 DPS or something - which means it's a one hit killer in my case. My guns right now are sitting near the 300 DPS range with the 9x damage multiplier and it's a pretty good balance for me (2-5 shots to kill almost any enemy at medium to long distance). Certain upgrades won't be available until you level up. While there are ways to rapidly unlock the highest level, it ruins a bit of the reward. Instead, I set a XP multiplier so that my level increases faster than default, allowing me to continuously upgrade my guns at the same rate as the game gets harder and enemies gain higher armor stats. And if the enemies suddenly accelerate in armor and health and my gun upgrades aren't keeping up - just increase your XP multiplier slightly and adjust accordingly. All this can be done via 'Alt-Tab' to the trainer, without having to restart or quit your game - a nice way to keep you in the action and doesn't hinder the gameplay experience too much. Until a more refined mod comes along that dynamically adjusts all these parameters, this is the best workaround I can think of. Hopefully it'll allow others to play the game the same way and enjoy it. Thanks again!
  4. How's how I got realistic damage: I downloaded the trainer for the game and increased the damage multiplier until it felt right. Because weapons all do different damage, you'd have to upgrade each weapon accordingly and then find a sweet spot for the multiplier. For a handgun that does around 200 DPS, I currently take 90% of NPC's down with 1-2 shots and headshots are one-hit kills every time. I play on a higher difficulty and I try to keep my armor low to experience the realistic damage effect - but you don't have to do this. To prevent the Katana from being a baseball bat, I used the trainer to give enough supplies to reach a really high DPS with the Katana. This allows me to retain the same damage multiplier that makes the gunplay fun, but now the Katana kills in pretty much one hit. Thought I would share my work-around for getting this realism effect. Cheers! Link to said trainer: https://flingtrainer.com/attachments/15525
  5. Hey all, I was wondering if it would be possible to eliminate fall damage, along with its respective animation. There's a trainer that allows you to infinite jump + super jump, but landing still kills you. Even with infinite health turned on, hard landings causes V to brace the fall, slowing down the gameplay. Ideally, without such a limitation, the game would be a fun parkour experience - allowing players to jump between rooftops and scale buildings without high falls slowing down the flow of movement. Anyway, thought this would be a great mod addition. Thank you!
  6. EDIT: Request fulfilled by eNoodles! You can find the mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/4760? Would it be possible to create a mod that allows you have an entire armor preset? For example, instead of having to equip each armor piece individually (torso, trousers, gloves and boots), you would create a preset and save that as an 'outfit'. Equipping this outfit would equip all the items for that preset. This allows you to customize different presets, like a 'Create-a-Witcher-Class' system, perhaps even with their own weapon equipment. Would something like this be possible? Thank you!
