  1. You guy's are looking through rose tinted glasses! If anything Oblivion was the game that brought the series down! Hell I just tried Morrowind for the first time not to long ago and It reminded me of Skyrim right from the get go! The unique handcrafted environments and dungeons, to the way NPC's look and react to you were all very similar! Oblivion on the other hand, had very identical dungeons verging on the point of Copy and pasting. The NPC's were flat and lifeless(And had really weird looking faces as well)! The enemy's leveled with you to the point that leveling was almost useless because you never felt truly powerful! Skyrim Is 200% better than Oblivion in the areas that matter most "To me". However, Oblivion does have more memorable quests than Skyrim does. Which is unfortunate, because if Bethesda put as much effort into the rest of the game it would have been a masterpiece.
  2. I used to think that Oblivion was the greatest game ever! However the graphics and the game play really haven't aged well at all! Which is kinda funny because I went and tried out Morrowind for the first time and liked it as much if not more than Skyrim. Actually, one of the things that I noticed right off the bat is how similar Skyrim and Morrowind "felt". The interiors, the way that NPC's looked and reacted to you, and how each dungeon was handcrafted into the game just blew my mind! Trying to play oblivion again after playing those two games was really difficult.
  3. I will admit after playing both of my characters for about "140hrs/50hrs", Skyrim is getting quite tedious.... But then I have to remind myself that I've been playing the damn game for close to 200 HOURS!!! And of course it's going to get boring after a while! It's what games do! I'm probably going to play some other games until Dawnguard comes out then I will thoroughly enjoy the game for another 50hrs again! Jeez guys... This isn't some MMO where you can literally spend thousands of hours playing. :pirate:
  4. ^ I agree. I usually only use cheats when I need to preform some really tedious tasks. Or when I'm bored and I want to kill say.... 100 DRAUGR!!!! :D
  5. So we have a retex of an Orcish Battle Axe A retex of a Forsworn Bow A retex of an Iron Dagger A retex of a Silver Greatsword A retex of an Elven Mace And a retex of an Ancient Nord Sword ... Well done Bethesda, you're living up to the high standards we've all come to expect ... Wow! I sorta agree with you, even though they are clearly not just re-textures though. I will admit it seems as though they tweaked the meshes a little bit to make them "sorta" unique from some of the vanilla weapons.... I am a bit disappointed though. I was hoping for something more "primitive" looking personally. Even though I think the bow and Axe look pretty bad-ass!
