  1. Hey, I'm loving this game, almost 400 hours into this aventure. But one only mod would benefit me a lot, a simple one (not necessarily simple to make though). A mod that shows a timer on the buffs and debuffs that are normally displayed in the bottom left of the screen. So I know when I have to use another rage potion for the rage boon etc .. I don't want a fancy wheel around each buffs that shows approximately the remaining time of each buffs. Just a simple timer on the buff in seconds or even in seconds and minutes (if necessary) if it's not too much trouble. I'm sure this will greatly help the community, I've seen people on reddit talk about something like this and that's part of the reason I willing to help you the best I can. Of course I have no coding knowledge or I wouldn't be asking for the mod, but If you have a patreon or a proper donate link I have no problem helping you survive in the real world while you help us survive in the outward world ! (I'm not sure this is allowed, but I'm not buying a mod, I'm just letting people know that the community needs a mod like this and I would be the first one to support the person who will take time to produce it.)   2. I did a little mod that increases the effect duration of potions and decreases the effect. So I can play with Ghost Mode, Preparations and 'potions that last longer'. It's working, but I got a little bug, that I can't get rid of it. Really annoys me. For the Swallow only, when I already am under the effect of this potion and try to refresh it, a charge of swallow is consumed but my toxicity doesn't change, and the effect is not refresh either. I tried 2 solutions, merging the bundles with script.merger (selecting : Merge > 'POPO' everywhere') and naming Ghost Mode : 'modZGhostMode' (so my mod has the priority on GhostMode). The 2 solutions make my mod work, but the bug is still here for both.. sadly. If a modder comes this way, I'll need a little help ^^ Thanks in advance ! PS : I tried my mod with only ghost mode and same result EDIT : I tried my mod with no other mod and same result EDIT 2 : I forgot to say, that I did several times my mod, the same again and again, to avoid silly typing error, but same result each tme ^^
  3. Ofc 5 mins after I wrote this post, I found the file I was asking for .. x) For those who wonder, it's very simple, gameplay>abilities>basic_attacks, at the end of the file. But first, you need to use QuickModdingTool to unzip the bundles. I don't know in which one it is, since I unzip all of them at once.
  4. I'm curently trying to make a little mod that will increase the 'counter attack damages'. I don't mean the skill 'counter attack', but the regular one. Those which you can do from level 1 using right click at the right time. But after 2 hours of research, I can't find the line nor the file which does this... So if someone knows how to do it, I would be greatful if he could share his knowledge on the matter. Thanks.

  7. Hey. To keep it short, I always loved 'addons' in WOW and now mods in TW3 and I would like to try to make mods myself. So I was wondering, what 'script language' is the most similar to 'witcher script' which they used to script the game (If I'm not mistaken). Or simply what language(s) should I learn first to make mods ? Thanks ! :)
  8. Hey. I really wanted to try Brutal and Realistic Combat but sadly it was out of date. So I "updated" myself. Despite the fact I don't know anything about coding. So I downloaded the 1.21 scripts to compare them with the mod scripts and get the scripts lines specific to the mod. Then I replace every files of the mod by 1.31 files I found in the game folder. (my game is GOTY edition from Steam.) Then I pasted all the script lines I gathered from the mod's files to the "new" mod's files. With logic, reading carefully where the lines where implemented and where they ended etc .. But I have to say, I didn't do it for every files of the mod, just some of them, mainly those which have caused script errors when I was trying to launch the game. Then the game has start without any errors, so I was pretty happy, I tried a bit and it seemed to work fine. But after 30 min of playing, I started having lags with the map open. Eventually all the game was very laggy. My hard drive became crazy in the meantime. So the mod works but I have to restart my game every 30 min or so. So yeah, I could use some help I think lol. Should I do the same operation I did to all the files ? Thanks. Edit : I did install the unification patch before doing any of this. I'm "updating" all the files right now just to be sure and will let you know.
