  1. This was something I was doing for a vault experiment and thought it would be great if a game script could be modified to automatically do this. Core Concepts Rare and Legendary Dwellers don't feel special once you get them, and even become dwarfed by your max SPECIAL trained dwellers at the end of the game Breeding is unrewarding Training rooms break the game Proposed Overhaul SPECIAL of all dwellers are fixed at birth or on arrival Training rooms cannot be used to increase a dwellers SPECIAL except for getting a birthed dweller's SPECIAL to equals the number in this formula Females can only give birth to number of times = to their endurance + charisma Pets If either parent is, Common (less than 28 SPECIAL), then you can use +1 child SPECIAL pet Rare (28 - 39 SPECIAL), you can use +2 pet Legendary (40 or more SPECIAL), you can use +3 pet SPECIAL Inheritance Formula After accounting for SPECIAL modifications due to Pets, for each and every SPECIAL stat role a number between 1 - 100, if number equals 1 - 25 = leave stat as is from birth ("default")26 - 30 = default stat and +131 - 45 = use average of mother and father's stats rounded up, if the default stat is lower46 - 50 = use average of mother and father's stats and +1, if the default stat is lower51 - 65 = adjust stat to equal mother's, if the default stat is lower66 - 80 = adjust stat to equal father's, if the default stat is lower 81 - 95 = adjust stat to equal mother's or father's whichever is higher, if the default stat is lower96 - 100 = adjust stat to equal mother's or father's whichever is higher and add +1, if the default stat is lower
