You guys seem to be able to get the game running in some form at least, I have ran a heavily modded FO4 many times in the past but recently I thought after a year or so out of the loop I would try the new Vortex Mod Manager and yet, when I install it, edit the custom ini for mods and install FO4SE, running script extender through Vortex seems to cause the game to lose all textures in the intro screen, all I can see is the green lettering "press any key" and behind that blackness, then it crashes seconds later.... Anyone heard of this issue?

You know I did not realize, ha! Well I am using its own function now, in any case I am trying to turn off `10 plugins at a time to see if the game becomes stable or if I can narrow down the mods causing issue. Vortex keeps telling me "looks menu" is the wrong version as well, but its the latest one for me (the 21;9 version, which is my display?) but uninstalling it completely did not make a difference anyway. I cant even get past the "press any key to start" let alone the character designer! :huh: Wait....I just reinstalled FO4, clean install, then installed Vortex, FO4 script extender and started it up via the extender through Vortex and the same thing happens, black screen, cant see background, can only see "press any key" then it crashes seconds later. Works fine without extender.

Hey folks, here is my load order; So my process was, I started the game and it looked like it worked ok, so I started the manager up (Vortex mod manager) and installed all the mods above. I used LOOT to order them, made the Merged patch in FO4 edit (no errors?) and deleted leveled lists as is often suggested because apparently Wrye bash does that better, so I built me a bashed patch with the leveled list in it. I start Vortex, making sure to run the Fallout 4 script extender (a bunch of mods need it) as the main executable and the game loads till I hear the music theme and see "press any key to start" however, I see no garage/power armour etc in the background, its all black, cant see anything but he green text for a few seconds and then it crashes... Tried it a bunch of times. I thought I would ask here unless there is a massive obvious error or if this is something people know about happening. Never used Vortex before today, used to use Nexus mod manager. Any help would be appreciated, spent the last day or two searching these mods and installing them and to have it crash without chance of play seems depressing, I would rather avoid having to do the whole "disable mod one at a time" hokey pokey if i can :laugh: Thanks folks! :happy:
