How do I stop that from happening?

So I've been having some issues with grass clipping through the porches of houses and I decided to google first. I did get some answers on it and they talk about texture painting with the sculpting tool by pressing H and right clicking, which I'm actually pretty familiar with anyway. The problem is, When I select a texture containing "NoGrass" in the name and attempt to paint with it to remove said grass, it doesn't remove it. In fact it doesn't seem like it does anything. The creation kit stutters slightly after letting go of the right mouse button as if it's trying to render something, but nothing has been changed. Am I missing something important to be able to remove grass?

Yeah it didn't load. I'll just have to start a new game... Thanks, though. That information is extremely useful in narrowing down the issue. It sounds to me like it's most likely one of the wenches mods. I'll be getting rid of all of them.

My game is modded. There's quite a few lol Thing is, they've all played nicely with each other since I started a new game several weeks ago.Sure, sometimes I would CTD randomly when fast traveling or going through a cell loading door.Today, however... Something really weird is happening out of the blue.I'm at a certain spot in the game where I have quicksaved.When I load the game if I either stand there and wait a couple minutes, the game will crash.If I run anywhere, it crashes after about 30 seconds.If I fast travel anywhere, the game waits maybe 3 seconds before crashing.At this point, it is quite literally unplayable.
